Ordered online a pair of boots paid for them at store and couldn't exchange them for a smaller size for my son so refund was processed and won't be released for 10 days which is wrong and during the holidays. My husband and I was just at this Boot Barn and the customer service was horrible. We are looking for cowboy boots for our little Grandson and there was three customer service people, who works at this Boot Barn, right behind us just visiting while my husband and I wandered lost trying to find a little size 7 ($60 boots!). My husband said to me across from the other side of the boots "maybe we should ask someone if the have size 7?" I stated back "does anyone work here?". Husband reply's "Ya, there's three people behind you." I looked behind me and the three employees stopped talking and started walking in all directions. My husband was able to catch one of the male employee and asked if they had size 7. The employee just touched the boots and said "ya, I think all the boots are out here." So, we left! Horrible!! I was a little surprised to see all the negative reviews, we were helped by a younger gal and she answered all our questions with helpful answers. She also found the person who did know the answer when she didn't. They had a lot of boots at this location that were all top of the line. Felt like I payed a good price for what I got as well. Drove an hour and a half to return a NWT coat with gift receipt. Sales associate told that there's no way we can return or exchange it even for merchandise credit because "it's been so long." Ridiculous. Don't ever shop here. read more

I bought two pairs of kids boots for my young girls. They love the sparkly boots however, I purchased these boots for them for Christmas and come the middle of January, not even a month later they are falling apart. I tried to exchange them for others or get some kind of refund but the manager Wendy would not do anything for me. Just told me that is how they wear! they haven't even been worn 15 days! but that is how they wear?!?! My girls can't even enjoy these boots! If that is the quality of their boots and they can't stand behind what they sell, they have lost my business and others who i am sharing my story with. I went to boot barn to get clothes and boots for my company... It said it closed at eight online and on the paper on the door, but we showed up at seven and they were locking up. This was my first experience with a Boot Barn and I was SO pleased. I drove over an hour to hopefully exchange some items that were gifted to me. I did not have a copy of the receipt but all items were still tagged. The manager, I believe her name was Jenna, made the process so easy by finding an electronIc receipt using a phone number and the tagged items. She also spent well over an hour helping me find the right style of jeans to fit my size, comfort, and price range. I wanted a pair of western boots and in the past they are good for a couple of hours then I need to get them off. They hurt. I explained to the sales girl that I wanted to be able to walk 5 miles and I didn't want fancy boots. She said no problem and we walked right to a few pair. She explained the differences and I quickly found a good pair. I'm able to walk the 5 miles without any problem. The folks there were great and I'll be back. read more

Awful customer service, got upset when I told them there staff did not make me aware of a non refundable policy. Instead of honoring a return with a receipt all the assistant manager could say was, I'll have to let my staff know for next.
