No sense of professionalism if I was looking for service like that I would of gone to the flea market. Also, employees don't approach you, the ones at the register look like they hate their life! Had an extremely uncomfortable encounter with the staff here, I was followed throughout the entire store by several workers and they continuously kept asking if I needed help even though I repeatedly stated I was just browsing. They legit had someone follow me through each and every aisle and communicated over the walkie talkie out loud about keeping an eye on me :/ I don't know if it's because I came in alone, came in with no clear objective, or the fact that I'm a brown woman (or all 3) but the experience was extremely frustrating and insulting. Stopped in for a pair of boots. Haven't bought boots in years and wanted to look around. They are way over staffed for the time I was there. I was asked "can I help you find something" by every employee there. I told myself one more time and I'm leaving. I like customer service but how about communicating to fellow employees that you've already made contact. I was completely bugged. Once I found what I wanted I was out in 5 minutes. I was in search for boots for myself and my children. When I arrived the lady at the front desk didn't greet us or ask if I needed any help. Which I did need help. When I went to ask for help she cut me short and said "find a boot with a wide toe" instead of showing me what would be good for my kids foot. The other girl who was there working walked right past us as I tried walking up to her for help. I was so disappointed with their service. My son purchased some items and, unfortunately, soon after he left the store, his truck was broken into. A jacket from Boot Barn was stolen. He reported the theft to the police and because several other vehicles were hit, they asked for specific information. He couldn't remember the size of jacket he purchased because the clothes he bought all fit different so there was a variety of sizes. The thief left the receipt (size was not on the receipt) so he contacted the store to see if they could access more info through their system using his receipt number or account info. The girl who answered the phone was trying to help but needed the manager to show her how. The manager was extremely rude and wasn't willing to help. That's very unfortunate! Late post: Great experience here thanks to Aude!!!! Could not be happier with such a elite attentiveness to customer service. Have been to the boot barn in Clovis Way larger selection however their customer service was beyond lacking to say the least. I have a hard time finding boots as I have very large calves and typically women's boots are not designed as such. I had my heart set on a certain look for my wedding. None of which I was finding. Aude reached out to several other stores and had a pair shipped in for me to try and they fit perfectly one week before my wedding, picked them up to days prior! She was patient attentive and amazing the entire time! I also returned because years ago I was in a car accident that causes my right calf to be larger than my left she happily stretched the boot for me and they are a perfect fit! I bought a pair of boots from the Modesto location and took them to the Turlock location to be stretched. They had them for two weeks and never called me about the status of them. Come to find out they hadn't even put them on the stretcher yet. I called a week later and they said it looked like they hadn't taken them off the stretcher but I could come down and try them on. Which means they had my boots on there longer than intended. I'm disappointed with their service! I'm really hoping they aren't over-stretched considering they were expensive and now can not be returned if they have been over stretched. Sadly this is my local boot barn but maybe I will start going to the Modesto or Atwater location since they have been more attentive and helpful. read more
