Went there on my last trip to TN. Son looked for 2 hours as there were none wide enough. That was not my issue. My issue was the cashier who was an old man. I asked him a question and he got irate when I asked him if he knew his inventory (because he couldn't tell me if there were bigger hats int he back). He yelled. "WHAT DID YOU SAY TO ME?" I am talking threatening to me and my kids. I told him to shove his boots up his a$$ and I bought nothing all because he acted like an idiot when I asked if there were any cowboy hats in the back. Don't listen to these bad reviews on here, this place is awesome. I got two very solid pairs of boots and my girlfriend a beautiful pair of boots all for 220 bucks. Where else can you get solid boots for that price? No where! Masterson, contrary to "popular" belief is a very solid boot. When I'm back in that area again, I'll get myself a few more pairs. Had a very bad experience here. Got "help" from three different employees none of whom stayed around more than three minutes. All the cowboy boots had the same interior look regardless of brand which I thought was odd. Walked out and didn't look back. read more

You can't beat buy one get two free! My husband was a little surprised that one pair was almost $300--we're city folk, so he's never purchased western boots, but I grew up on the south before moving to the midwest in high school, so I knew that good quality leather boots come at a price, even if you're only purchasing the fashionable ones. :) The selection is pretty great--kids, mens and womens, narrow, medium, wide widths, short, mid calf, tall, function and fashion, they even have a few handbags and leather care items. The only downside I guess is everything is out of the box. I recycle all my shoe boxes, so it's not a problem for me, but if you're a store-it-in-the-box person, I can see this being a problem for you. All that being said, it is still a STEAL to get two free pairs when you purchase one at full price. I bought one pair for comfort, one pair for the style and another absolutely gorgeous pair as a gift. Even as a city girl, I still will always recommend a good pair of western boots as a go-to pair of shoes. They're comfortable, they're quality, they last a really long time if you take care of them and you can literally wear them with anything (even your gym shorts, though they're not so good for the treadmill lol). I went in there tonight. The boots I wanted were $159. I came home and checked the Internet. I found the same boot for ranges of $129-$139. There was a price for a pair for $84, but it was only a size 6.5. So, in general, this would be a great deal....but..could I find 2 more pair I liked for or less than $159? Probably not. I would like to first start out by saying that I was so skeptical about this place. I was convinced we were going to get ripped off because of the prices. Was I ever wrong! My now husband needed a new pair of work boots and we were going to be getting married in a few months and I knew I was going to be wearing boots as well. We ended up finding a good pair of boots for him to work in and I went to the women's section and found the perfect pair of boots to wear on my wedding day. We decided to get the 3rd pair and donate it to our local school to give to a child that can't afford shoes. I would just like to say that my wedding was in 2012. It is now 2015 and I am STILL wearing these boots. They are getting wore out so we are making a trip down next week to get more! read more

I wear a lot of boots. My job requires steel-toes daily, and my go-to footwear has been steel-toe boots for 15 years. This store has some excellent deals if you know what you want. My usual boot store in Ohio has a massive selection. The selection here was decent, but not mind-blowing. I'm a bit surprised at the reviews complaining about price. If you go in for a single pair of boots, expect to pay a markup (10-30% on the ones I checked). Now, if you're not shopping for a single pair of boots, I think you might struggle not to find an excellent deal. I walked out with pairs from Georgia Boots, Rocky, and Ariat for $250 (the Georgia pair were $229 plus tax, otherwise it would have been lower). Price-checking on Amazon (not list-price) would put me at $410 for all three pairs in my size. There are known brands here if you're looking. I absolutely recommend the value. read more

I have a pair of boots purchased here 8 years ago (yes 8 years) that still look almost new. Well, I wanted a second pair in a different color, found them and 2 more pair, can't beat the price. This place has low quality supposedly name brand boots. I think they are seconds. 2 pairs out of three hurt the right ankle when wearing. Tried to retuurn with reciept in 5 days and would not give a refund for defective boots. Was gonna exchange until I asked for refund, then said they had been worn. They were no more worn than when I bought them. Couldnt wear them because they are defective. Then decided not to let me exchange. Once you buy dont expect a refund! Thats where they get you. Managerr said if you bought a car, and it was messed up, would you expect to return it. What a stupid ananlogy,, well of course I would if it was brand new and already had problems. Do not waste your money on this scam of a business! I ended up paying. $ 265 for 1 pair I could wear without pain! Not recommended! read more
