Of course then, you are screwed and they are off the hook. Over $4000 to fix it. Leaky oil pan, bad brakes, and window tint that is illegal in Colorado. I have good credit and a good trade in. I told them repeatedly that I didn't want to put anything down. Jesse went back to see if he could get the monthly payment I was looking for. He came back and said, "I got it for a dollar less that what you wanted". I said "really?... no down payment, taxes covered, 2 year warranty?" He said yes. He said sign the offer here. At the bottom of the page, below the signature was "$1000 down". I said, "What is that?" he replied "That isn't you, it's something else. Sign up here". After the paperwork was all signed and my trade in was signed over to them he hits me with "How do you want to pay that $1000?". I laughed and said, "What $1000?". He said, "The $1000 you agreed to pay". I laughed. He said, "you signed the documents". I said "wow, that's what I get"... and gave him my bank card. The next day they were open I called and asked for the owner/manager. I finally get him after four hours and three calls. He said, "You could have not paid the $1000". I said "I already signed the papers and signed over the trade in. I didn't have a choice". He argued with me about how I did, but they sure gave me a different impression at the time. Today I was approved for the 2020 Dodge Charger Scat pack and before I drove out there I called to see if the car was ready for pick up. I spoke with Jesse and he told me that I had to pay him $1000 to release the car because that is what my finance company was charging him to sell me the car. So I called my finance company and they said that wasn't true and called Jesse. My finance company made that charge go away but then Victor from Booth motors said I had to buy the warranty if I wanted the car. The warranty cost $3000 for 2 years and I already bought Car Shield on the car which was way cheaper than that. So I reported them to State because a warranty should be optional and it's illegal for Booth to do this. read more

The cars these guys peddle are low quality. We went to and test drove a car that had a loose back bumper and the taillight was loose. You could see the lacquer dust from the body shop and only one of the exhaust pipes was passing exhaust. It was obvious the car had been in an accident. The sales rep said if you can look past the bumper the car is great. We asked him to talk to his manager to fix the issues but he said no the car will sell to some 27 year old that gets approved. Buyer Beware - Very Poor Car Buying Experience My fiancé purchased a vehicle from this dealership on January 24th, and unfortunately the experience has been extremely disappointing. Shortly after the purchase, the car began making a loud noise that suggested a serious mechanical issue. When we first raised the concern, Axel told us the problem was likely due to the struts being frozen because of the cold weather and assured us the noise would go away once the vehicle warmed up. He also stated that if there was an issue, the dealership would address it. However, after driving the car home, the noise continued and did not improve. Because the dealership was closed Sunday, we returned with the vehicle on January 26th and informed them that something was clearly wrong. At that point we requested either a refund or the return of the vehicle we had traded in, but both requests were refused. The situation became even more concerning when the dealership reportedly told the bank that we had taken possession of the vehicle, even though the car was still at the dealership at the time. We were also left with the impression that resolving the issue would be difficult and that we might not have transportation home. Since then, we have brought the vehicle back three separate times, and the problem still has not been resolved. A warranty claim was later filed, despite the fact that the transmission issue appears to have existed before the vehicle was sold - this is clearly in violation of warranty law! Due to these concerns, we are now reviewing our options and plan to report the situation to the financing bank and the warranty/insurance company for further investigation. I strongly recommend that potential buyers carefully inspect any vehicle and fully understand the terms before purchasing from this dealership. Not sure what's going on w/ Yelp but it's not an accurate representation of my experience. I called Booth on 1/29 and spoke w/ Rick. Set up an appt for the following day for the vehicle I was looking for. I arrived on 1/30 with the vehicle pulled up and ready for my inspection. Rick came in on his day off to assist with the test drive and answer any questions. It was all very low-pressure and Rick was personable and worked with me, explaining options without pushing unnecessary options or warranties. Terrible Experience - Would Not Recommend I recently purchased a car from Booth Motors, and I would never recommend anyone do the same. From the beginning, I was told the vehicle was in good condition, but that turned out to be far from the truth. Within 3 days, the car failed its emissions test. I contacted the dealership, and they told me to bring it in. After leaving the car with them for two weeks, I picked it up, They gave me a piece of paper saying the emissions had passed they mentioned that the car was already in good condition. Just 10 minutes later after picking it up, the check engine light came on. I immediately went to do the emission again but it failed again. I brought the car back to booth motors and was told there was nothing they could do because I didn't have a warranty -- even though they originally told me the car was in "good condition." To make matters worse, the manager said, "all cars are going to have a defect no matter what year it is." That sounded to me like they knowingly sell cars with problems and hope buyers won't find out until later. When I told the manager that I had taken the car to get a state emissions retest -- just to double-check -- he questioned why I would even bother. That felt incredibly shady. Sure enough, when I went to a legitimate state emissions facility, the car failed again. I don't know how they got it to pass the first time, but clearly something isn't right. I've owned multiple cars from other dealerships over the years and never had an experience like this. Booth Motors is the only dealership that gave me problems from the very beginning. Eventually, the manager offered to cover the spark plug repair (which they assumed was the issue), but only if I signed a contract agreeing not to leave a review. That's extremely unprofessional. I refused to sign, paid for the repair myself -- and the issue still wasn't fixed, because the check engine light is still on after they repaired the spark plugs. After bringing the car back again, they kept it for another two weeks and then told me it might be a coil or cable issue. At this point, I've spent more time dealing with this car and taking time off work than I've spent actually driving it. The manager continues to claim it's my responsibility, most of which were spent in their service department they also have a sticker in the car saying that they've done the oil change in the car, but that's wasn't true, and I had to do the oil change as well! I also asked the manager if I could exchange the car, but he said I'd have to wait until the current issue is fixed so he can determine whether the car's value goes up or down. I then asked him if he was sure the problem was with the cable or the coils, as they had mentioned earlier, but all he said was, "I don't know -- it might fix it, or it might not." That left me very concerned about the dealership and the quality of work they put into their cars. We clearly had our disagreements, and the conversation went nowhere, as the manager kept insisting it might be the issue -- even though he originally told me it was the spark plugs. Now the story has changed. My problem with all of this is that I'm spending money on a car that was supposedly in good condition when I bought it, yet it's had issues from the start. To top it off, the salesman Jesse was rude and dismissive when I returned the second time to discuss the issue acting like I wasn't even there. The entire experience felt disrespectful and, frankly discriminatory. This dealership is not trustworthy. The car wasn't what they promised, the emissions situation is extremely suspicious, and their customer service is terrible. Avoid Booth Motors at all costs. *Before the GM says anything about me not being in the system or not being the purchaser, I want to clarify that I wasn't the one who bought the car -- I'm the daughter of the person who made the purchase. I was communicating with Jacob regarding a Tesla Model 3 in their inventory. I notified him I would be able to drive up to Longmont to see the car, gave him an updated estimated time of arrival. Jacob had replied, "Awesome, see you then!" When I arrived Jacob wasn't there, it was his day off. Nobody knew I was coming. I was pawned off on a new guy who, although friendly, was clearly new to the organization and hadnt received much training. He and I combed the lot looking for the car, only to find it on the far end of the holding lot. The car was dirty, and had a 0% charge. I was told that I wouldn't be able to test drive the car until we had a deal. I mentioned I'd like to send the car to Tesla to test the battery and have it inspected and was told I wouldn't be allowed to do so because parts get stolen off of cars at other mechanics shops. This place is a joke! It's obvious the car didnt undergo any reconditioning as there were surface scrapes in the paint on the passenger side, both passenger side wheels had curb rash and both rocker panels had scrapes on them. It was apparent the front bumper cover had been replaced as well. I left the dealership disappointed and somewhat irked that I wasted time and gas going 70+ miles roundtrip for absolutely nothing. Did Jacob follow up, NO. I then decided to send an email to the general manager, Mr. Contreras, regarding my experience thinking I'd give the dealership the benefit of the doubt. Do you think I got a response? NO. Not to mention the vehicle is over-priced as it is. While I was sitting in the vehicle and thumbing through the info screen I noticed the vehicle had not been charged at charging station since October of last year... it's now May. Please be very cautious with buying anything from this dealership. Salesman was nice, but would not let me test drive more than one car. Complained about the cost of gas and that I needed to commit to buy before they would go any further. BTW, I'm a cash buyer. I told the salesman that the buying process involves looking and driving each car, that is how a person decides on which car they want to buy. With this apparent company cheapskate philosophy, I would worry about the pressure the mechanics are under, making any car on the lot suspect of not being fixed correctly as most come from auctions. I was monitoring a truck from this dealership online, and after a month of it still being available, I went to check it out. The truck wouldn't start, and after a jump, I was only allowed to test-drive it a short distance, not even on the highway. They refused to let me take it to a mechanic, which should've been my first red flag. Despite the issues, I liked the truck and was running out of time, so I started negotiating. I asked for a new battery after the truck wouldn't start, and at first, they said no. A few hours later, they called me back and agreed, and I agreed to buy it. I had to put down a deposit over the phone, as they pressured me with a "hard-sell" tactic, claiming another buyer was ready to purchase it. Fast forward to two weeks after I bought it: I was stranded on the side of the road, had to have it towed to a repair shop, and had to pay $2,000 to fix the fuel pump! I was also informed that the truck needs new brakes/rotors and an extreme alignment--that will cost an additional $2,500--none of which were disclosed to me. Looking back, it's no surprise they didn't want me taking it to a mechanic! Then, when I tried to register the truck, which required me to take a day off from work, I found out they hadn't even filed the title with the DMV or the bank, causing more delays and forcing me to buy an extra temp tag. When I called the dealership, I was put on hold for 20 minutes, and when I asked for the owner, they told me he was never available and could take weeks to return my call. Made a deal that wasnt kept until we went back and forth almost an entire day. Finally, agreed to the deal. Took my car in to get the issue fixed at their cost. They had my vehicle for two weeks. When I got the vehicle back it had numerous scratches all over the car that wasnt there before. Rod said they were and said the picture he had shows that but sent me pics that he took with his phone on the monitor. Asked to send me the originals. Didn't want to do that.told me to stop contacting his store. He was gonna get me for harassment. My vehicle was damaged, they fixed the problem I had but sent me back with all the scratches and other things are now wrong with the vehicle. Someone was joy riding it using ally gas messed up the car. I didnt want them to fix it because it was just gonna come back with more issues. He should ahve just looked into and seen who took car off the lost and who and when the damages happend. I would have never purchased the vehicle if it looked the way it did when I picked it up. I had a terrible experience buying a car and still am 6 weeks later... they did not inspect the car before listing it and if they did an inspection they should fire whoever did it.there were loose bolts and missing hardware all over. The car needed and still needs lots of work done to run correctly. It took them 5 weeks to get me a loaner car and were very rude when answering the phone and throughout the whole process. After I bought my car they tried to get me to void my warranty by suggesting I make upgrades outside of the warranty policies. Slimy and unethical is the only way I can describe my experience here. I had flew out of state to pick up a vehicle they had, was told it had 24k miles as listed on multiple sites they post on and when I got there the vehicle was at 28k so they obviously been driving the vehicle while it sat there. When I got there about 5 minutes before they opened I was approached by another member of their team with attitude asking what I'm doing there and told him the situation. He proceeds to tell me I couldn't enter the lot until the sales guy I was talking to shows up. I was like ok just trying to get in and out cause I had a 9 hour drive back home. Test drive the car and was told full tank of gas and everything was good on the vehicle. They gave me half of a quarter tank of gas and found multiple fault lights on due to modifications they didn't even know about. My warranty was in jeopardy of losing warranty due to the modifications. This place and the shop they use for inspections are a joke and would not recommend buying if you don't want headaches down the road read more

They rushed through the paperwork (did not allow time for him to read through) He told them he Did Not want Extended Warranty, but they put it on anyway. When he realized it, he asked for it to be taken off. They said they Could Not take it off and re-do paperwork. He talked to other people and his insurance agent and ALL said the dealer COULD reverse it, but dealer REFUSED. Then the car did not pass emissions. Dealer advertises one can return a vehicle withing 3 days if it does not pass or if dissatisfied in any way. NOT TRUE. Son returned car, left it on their lot. Nearly 3 months later they told him to come get the car or get dinged with a REPO and ruin his credit. Furthermore, they sent him to Collection over $500 he didn't pay (because he had returned the car). This dealership is NOT REPUTABLE. Avoid them or possibly bet burned. read more

The top 3 features (heated cooled seats/remote start and back up camera) they listed on a truck didn't work. Promised floor mats for the truck a got that never happened and they only gave me one key. It is what it is. If you are going to list features of a vehicle you should at least make sure they work. Edit: after thinking about it I also drove up and down to make sure they had the paper work they needed (one of the issues was my fault from the title) and they they needed a bit more information and I got it to them quickly. Unfortunately the deal took some time so all the banks closed so I had to drive to get a check from home, that one was on me. I like the truck. But it was empty of diesel and not as listed. So check them over better. Edit edit: after Matt called and talked to me for a bit I needed to add this. I did get money off for some the the issues they knew about when we started to work the deal so like when buying any used car check it over closely or work it into the deal. read more

If you're okay with the prices they offer, this is the place to go to. Otherwise don't expect them to negotiate a lower price with you because they won't. I suggest going to a bigger dealer, where they can negotiate prices and work with your price range. I've been able to drop a price from $20,000 all the way to $14,000 at an actual big dealership. I have plenty of experience buying cars and this experience was not it. Make sure to check the car out to the smallest detail ever and point them out. And come to the location already pre approved by a credit union. We were serious about buying a car but we were not satisfied with the so called "deal" they were offering. Spent about 2 hours going back and forth but i guess they were not that serious about selling a car or helping us out. I appreciate Jesse for taking some of his time to help out but it wasn't enough and the moment we decided not to go for the car, he got pissed and his attitude got ugly. Other sales men i've worked with at different locations offered to look at other cars instead or simply just gave me their business card for future references. After seeing how Jesse got because we didn't want to take the car made me feel really thankful that we did not buy a car from him. Obviously all he cares about is his commission. I don't believe it was time wasted especially considering the fact that there weren't other potential buyers around at that time, so who else was he gonna be helping? If he wasn't helping us, he would of just been sitting there wasting time doing nothing and hoping someone else comes along. Therefore if you're easily influenced, don't care about negotiating a price and can easily be bought then this place is the right place for you! Just went & test drove a 2019 HONDA civic Si, for approx 25$k. Facility knew we were coming. Once arrived, vehicle brought up. Told clean car fax. On inspection all 4 windows weather stripping is cracked entirely, approx every 10 mmm. Hood has severe dent, on left and right-same area on each side, trunk lining is well used, very used & fuzzy, the tools by spare tire has paint chips and rust all over them, ABC gum on back passenger inside arm door, thread on all 4 tires very well used and 2 different brand of tires, 2 of them FalkenS, trunk not centered, noticeable gap on driver side trunk, a/c did not work and had a burble tune with the back fire. I pointed it allll out to salesmen, he was unsure and had no real answers to any of it. Salesman said tires were fine and passed their check pt system and that the civic was not back firing. Lol. Did say their dealership sends all cars thru 60 pt check and this car passed. I told him vehicle needs to go back for service. No wonder they have their ratingS. I would never buy a car from. Way too many red flags and unfaithfulness. BUYER BEWARE, lots of red flags. I did also say to salesmen I was embarrassed for him & booth motor. read more

I'm so disappointed in our experience with Booth. We bought a truck last year. While test driving it, we stopped at Walmart, and the battery died. Booth did replace the battery and said everything else checked out great. Not even a week later we had to take it back (twice) for an issue with the catalytic converter. Initially they tried to have us pay for the repair... now it's been sitting in our garage, dead. We assume this time it's likely the alternator. They also added on an extra warranty, but never asked us if we wanted. Never mentioned it was added in - or the cost - until after all the paperwork was done and signed. Shame on us for not better looking at the numbers... but lesson learned. We have a good friend in the auto business, and NEVER has he done anything like that to us. Booth OBVIOUSLY doesn't check out their vehicles, or they're perfectly fine with selling lemons. My 19 year old son decided to go to this dealership to test drive a car. He decided to purchase the vehicle and trade his vehicle even though his dad is a co-signer. He went through the process they allowed him to drive the car home even though his dad did not sign off on the payoff paperwork. Not even an hour after he got home, the car died. Engine won't run. First of all their reputation is to sell cars that have mechanical issues and secondly they have zero ethics! Who sells a vehicle to a 19 year old without the parent present that is on the loan of the car he is trading?!?! Do not do business with these people! This issue was resolved by the dealership, it was a learning experience for everyone involved! Hopefully people do their homework and educate your young adult children on car buying. read more

I don't know how the rest of the business is run but I couldn't get past the rude, unprofessional , uncomfortable experience with their pushy salesman Mat. After driving the car , I didn't think it was a good fit because of the condition of the car, Mat made me feel guilty for not buying the car ,and said " thanks for wasting my time ". From that brief experience with Booth Motors , I can not recommend them and certainly I can not recommend their salesman Mat. read more

I searched online for a decent, affordable SUV and came across Booth Motors. I HATE dealing with car dealers however Jesse Cereceres was amazing! I went in to look at a prospective vehicle during coronavirus distancing and a rainstorm...... Jesse made everything very simple, safe and easy concerning test driving and working out the details of my purchase. I wound up getting a great deal! I drove my new vehicle to work the next day, my Boss noticed the Booth Motors badge over the front license plate and mentioned she purchased a vehicle from there years ago and was very happy with her purchase as well. My experience was great and I was able to purchase an affordable SUV at an affordable price: just what I was looking for!
