Absolutely do your used motor shopping here. A Rolls Royce dealership won't treat you this kindly and respectfully, I guarantee it. Bought a beautiful Alpine White 2000 Isuzu Rodeo from them and they gave me an out-of-this-world deal for it. They mentioned that they don't buy auction cars for their lot and instead buy trade-ins from reputable dealerships. The Rodeo was having a misfire issue on the lot. The owner, Ray, immediately took me over to his trusted auto shop for a look-over, which was performed by the mechanic there without a hitch. Told us to drive it around, see if it resolves, and if it doesn't then he'd guarantee the repair himself. Even put it in writing. The misfire seemed to have resolved and has cleared along with the check engine light. Water related maybe? A few days later my Dad and I paid Ray a visit just to tell him again how thrilled we were with the purchase. About a half-hour later, we noticed some transmission slippage. Gave Ray a call and, without a second thought, he got right on it. Took us to a guy that he trusts with transmissions, offered to cover the charge and even set us up with a loaner car - a 2010 Ford Fusion - without as much as making us sign a document for it. I regret buying my car here. When we sat down he showed us a black book pricing, not bluebook. Black book? Which claimed my 2002 Mercedes was worth $7000, even with 117,000 miles on it. We said no and they said they are a no haggle dealership. So we walked out and of course they ran after us because they know there are words are for sh*t. The salesman said something like the car is in pristine condition (and that's he's been doing this for such a long time and will totally take care of us) and my mother started to chuckle, he responded to that with please don't laugh at me ma'am. I came up and said there's cheese inside the cupholder of this car that I called ahead to drive. I ended up purchasing the car for $3000, A few months later both catalytic converters failed, oil sensor, and the ac doesn't work that well. Reason why we bought it it is that the model of this car is known for its reliability, and it was really smooth when we drove it. But they wouldn't even let us take it on the highway?! I definitely made mistakes when buying this car but I've learned my lesson. I hope people read this and learn from my mistake, also I sincerely hope moxie motors and all of their cheesy salesman get caught up in some legal action that results in them shutting down in a few of them going to jail. Dealership has no intagruity or principals. They sell unsafe cars and use short cuts to pass emissions and pass repairs cost to the customer. Very crooked and watch out for the salesman Louise. He'll say anything and lie to make a sale. UPDATE: After Moxie motors dening any responsibility and snow balling a emissions test the engine had to be replaced. Head gasket was very recently done so they knew about it. Also pulled up the emission history and on the same day they pushed a pass emissions cert in my hand they had a failed test. They reset the codes and ran it through again. I verified this through the State. Took the car to Carl Dukes volvo repair and $4400 later because the block was bad replaced the engine. Moxie motors are most definitely crooks. BEWARE!!!!!! read more

We had a great experience with this dealer. From the first phone call to inquire about a car, they were very friendly, never pushy or salesy (it's a word haha). When we went in to see the car our salesman Walt and the owner Ray were very friendly and helpful. They genuinely wanted us to have a good experience. We had a minor issue with the car after we had it for a month and they were very willing to work with us. It ended up being a minor issue with the radio draining power from the battery. Anyhow, I highly recommend them. We've had the car for about 5 months and unfortunately yesterday we were in a bad accident, rear ended! There's a good chance the car is totalled and if it is we will be looking first at Moxie for a replacement! read more

I wanted my money back but let them talk me into letting them fix it. They even offered me a warranty. Should have gotten that in writing. Went to pick up the repaired vehicle: "The warranty will be in the mail." You guessed it. It never arrived. Now I am stuck with an expensive repair.. I just moved here from Hawaii and my car was stolen and was in need of a car to get to work This dealership is great I recommend them to any one who needs a car. The sales team is awesome and actually try to help you unlike other dealerships who just turn you down. They gave me a great deal on my Mitsubishi Lancer I just picked up yesterday and the car runs great! I'm very happy with my purchase and will be coming back to this dealership to buy my girl friend a car. I called Saturday at 4pm to let them know I had decided to buy the car and agreed to the terms we discussed. I had one question about extending the loan for another 6 months, but made it clear that I had decided I wanted to buy the car regardless. The salesman said he would ask and call me back in 10 min. The dealership closed for the night and I hadn't heard back. Called first thing Monday morning and was told he stil needed to ask the GM my question and would call me back in 10 min. Didn't hear anything for over 2 hours, I called back again and was then told that they let someone else put a deposit down on Saturday AFTER I had called to say I wanted to buy and was ready and I couldn't be sold the car. I had already paid for and completed a pre-puchase inspection on the car and agreed to pay 2/3 of the price as a down payment. In total, I was told 5 times, (including today when asking about a different car now that mine wasn't available to me,) that I would be called back in 10 min to get an answer to a simple question about the car, only to receive no communication in response until I called back again. All in all, they wasted my time and money and they shouldn't have let another person put a down payment on the car when I had already called to say I was ready to buy and sign the papers, when our terms were already confirmed and I had paid for a pre-purchase inspection. They should have called me RIGHT back on Saturday to say that there was another customer interested, but that I called BEFORE they allowed them to take it and given me the benefit of being the first party they dealt with. It's been 5 hours since my last call to ask ONE question about another vehicle and I still haven't heard back. Not good business practices or customer relations. VERY disappointed in the lack of communication and selling the car out from under me when they knew before allowing another person to put money down, that I was agreeing to the terms we discussed and was ready to sign and buy. Also, their website says they can deal with all credit situations, but the GM came and told me that they have minimal outside lenders and that they would do in house financing for me, but they are a new company with minimal capital and can't do much because of that, which created conflict with my ability to get financing on the remaining portion of the cost, even though I was putting 2/3 of it down in cash on an $8500 total (fees, taxes included.) They should have told me on Saturday that there was another interested party and at least allowed me the opportunity to put money down first, since I notified them before the other people had done so and they had already made terms with me and I had already paid for the inspection. And they STILL haven't called back from this morning to answer my question about a different car. Save your time and energy and go elsewhere, where they don't give you the run around and will treat you like a valued customer. BOOOOOO. read more

We bought a previous car in there and was almost (emphasis in almost) fine so we went to buy a SUV because is difficult to manage my special need son in a small car and I saw a Rav4 on the list over the internet. I told them that I need a SUV for this and they showed me the Rav4. They told that it was old but in perfect condition and if we needed futures repairs that they can make them at low prices. So we bought it. Big mistake. Its broke down completely and when we took it they want to bill a lot of money for parts we know that does not cost what they says. So they lie about the SUV condition and about the fixing service. They don't care that vehicle was bought to deal with my special need son. A dealer that not care is not worth it. For anyone looking to purchase a used vehicle steer clear of this car lot in Longmont Colorado. My 17 year old daughter just financed her first vehicle last month and was super excited to be heading off to college with a vehicle of her own. She purchased a 2007 Nissan Murano from Moxie Motors in Longmont only to have it completely breakdown this past weekend. The vehicle would not drive and she was forced to abandon it on the side of the road. After having it towed to our local Nissan dealership shop here in Cheyenne, we were informed the transfer case has a huge crack in it and it is a junk yard part to boot. The car is in the shop with a $3800 bill that could potentially increase once they dig in if there are additional issues. I reached out to the owner, Ray, to see if he'd be willing to help with the bill or take the vehicle back since we've only had the car just over a month.  Mind you she paid $7k for this car. This man had the audacity to tell me he will not do that because it will cut into his profits and how could he stay in business if he does things like that. He went in to say the vehicle was purchase as is with no warranty from them. There is no way this dealership didn't know about this prior to selling my daughter the vehicle and I cannot fathom the thought of anyone else having to through this so I am letting everyone know what this lot did to my family. I was skeptical at first. I have a hard time trusting car dealers as a class of people. But Glenn and Ray won us over and worked hard to help us feel at ease. Our purchasing negotiations felt no-pressure, more like a conversation than the stressful experiences I've heard about from most dealers. I would not recommend buying a vehicle from Moxie Motors. I was told they didn't do any negotiating on the price of a vehicle. They told me they would fix the door handles of a vehicle if I bought it, but only ended up fixing one of the handles. The check engine light came on the second day I had the vehicle. Because of my lack of knowledge about cars I have always been scared, intimidated and felt ripped off and taken advantage of by anyone and any place that sells cars or has anything to do with cars. I truly believe this is one of the most accommodating and honest car dealerships in existence!
