I highly recommend I-25 Kia dealership, and particularly the salesperson Carlos Rubio, who made the entire buying process very simple, stressless, and efficient. I purchased the vehicle remotely from out-of-state, due to I-25 Kia being one of the few Kia dealerships not charging a dealer markup on the Telluride. I was able to do all the purchasing paperwork & loan paperwork online, then sign some paperwork that was mailed to me. I really appreciated not receiving any hardsell on the extras options. Then when I picked up my vehicle, it was very quick, around 15 minutes, for them to show me the features, and then I was on my way! Service department doesn't know what the word service means. The lack of communication and struggle with time management is egregious. I am a FT Uber driver, my car being my only job. It went in for an engine problem that was determined to be covered under my warranty - I was not given a rental to use for an entire week, leaving me with no income. During the course of my cars stay, I think I was given an unprompted follow-up by the staff maybe twice. Can't count how many times I heard "we will give you a call with an update" without hearing anything for over a day, everytime I've gotten an update I've had to reach out. As of yesterday, my car has been in this shop getting its repairs for a MONTH. I am finally going in to pick it up today. This has been a nightmare. I can't speak for the sales department, but given how my engine gave me problems I couldn't have prevented or caused before it even hit 100k mi, I can't even say I recommend Kia as a brand. Holler at Toyota if you want a longer lasting car. And if you're in need of service, with any ability to go elsewhere- drive right past this place and keep going. read more

Then when you call they say bring it in as if nothing happened and as if that should be protocol for every vehicle they do an oil change on. The service department is terrible. What ever you do, DO NOT bring your new car here for any recalls or work done. The staff treated my husband and I with disrespect and insult. They did not do recalls correctly then disconnected devises like key fob and Kia Access blaming it on us. Continuing to hold any access to the vehicle unless we paid for the key fob connection fee. They refused to provide names and emails to file a formal complaint and have completely attempted to ignore every call or message. Service department is ridiculous. I made a 1 pm appointment for recall work that is supposed to take an hour. I was there til 4 pm. When I looked at the paperwork the tech didnt even start looking at my car until after 3. What a waste of my time. Nobody there seems to know whats going on. During a previous service visit, they performed the service I needed on someone else's vehicle. After two hours they gave me the wrong key, and told me I was good to go. So not only did they waste my time, but I had to COME BACK for them to actually do the work. Sales unfortunately is just as bad. We bought our first Telluride here, but bought our second at a different dealer. They're the closest to our house, but after these repeated disasters, I'll have to suck it up and drive a little further. Would not recommend. read more

Paying cash for a new Sorento Prestige was our first mistake. Second mistake was thinking Fowler would resolve a simple issue. This $45k vehicle has a tire vibration so we scheduled it to be checked. Took it back to Longmont Fowler just to be told they didn't have a tire tech and we had to schedule it to go to Windsor Fowler, so we did. My wife took off work because I was out of town just to have them say they feel it so took some air out of the tires and said, there, it's better now. She can still feel the vibration so now we have to schedule a third trip to get a simple issue fixed. Needless to say, I will be taking it in this time and not leaving with a vibrating vehicle. What an awesome buying experience and this is coming from an out-of-state buyer. I flew in on a Monday and drove my brand new Telluride home and logged a little over 1k miles. First off, Dom was the point of contact from the get go. Online forums, specifically Telluride ones, have raved about the I-25 Kia and specifically Dom as the go-to guy. Boy were the highly positive reviews right! I initially PMed Dom in one of the forums and eventually transitioned into emailing/texting/calling him with all the questions I had and placed an order for a Telluride in the exact specs I wanted. I got my car in 1.5 months time. Wow! Other dealers were quoting a wait time of 4-8 months. If you want a Telluride or any Kia for that matter, go with I-25! I hate buying cars. And buying out of state? Ugh... That feeling of something going the wrong way..? Well I sure am glad I risked it because it was very well worth it in the end. I would do it all over again. Dom was responsive to all my inquiries and still is after buying the car. One of the few dealers with NO MARKUP. That in itself is rare considering that this car is marked up by 8-16k here in SoCal! Please purchase with I-25 Kia and you will not be disappointed. Mike was also working extra hard that Monday to keep all customers happy despite some waiting due to unforeseen circumstances. Update: there was a nail in my tire and it needed a patch. Giving this experience with them a 1-star review is too generous but I can't give less. This is for the service department: I scheduled an appointment for an oil change and to have them look at the back left tire. I bought the vehicle in May of 2024 (it's end of September) and the tire has had a slow leak since a few weeks out from purchasing the car. I also pay the monthly warranty that COVERS TIRE DAMAGE. They changed the oil, aired up the tires, looked at the tire and didn't see anything sticking in it and sent me on my way. Three days after the appointment the tire is already down 15PSI. I scheduled this appointment because I am moving across the country tomorrow morning and ended up having to schedule another appointment somewhere other than the Kia dealership to get it taken care of. Not only is this an epic waste of my time right before a 2,000 mile move, but I'm going to have to pay out of pocket for a repair that is covered under something I pay every single month to not have to pay out of pocket for. I am new to CO, made an appointment to have an oil change. Appt scheduled for 3:00 pm. I arrived on time, and asked for the tech to check my air. I waited patiently to have my air issues dismissed and oil change was not completed till 4:30 pm. I had asked them to change filter on passenger side, and they said that the filter had nothing to do with air not blowing, so they didn't change it. Even though the last oil change place recommended that it be changed and showed me how dirty it was. Needless to say, my car was not washed, but another customer interested in purchasing a new car, car washed as they waited. I cash out and review my receipt in car as I am driving back home, to read on receipt that they did not rotate my tires although it was suppose to be part of the oil change. The technician also failed to place the sticker inside the car showing when the next oil change is due. I was disappointed in the lack luster energy of the techs and laziness not to rotate tires or wash car. read more

My partner may disagree with the high rating I'm giving these guys, but I think it's fair as the staff has been friendly and somewhat helpful, until the time we purchased our vehicle. There's nothing wrong with our Kia, rather their service department and ability to work around our schedule sucked. Once the car was bought, the attitudes changed and we've been given the run-around from everyone from finance; we canceled a warranty and have yet to see a refund that we were told was coming, the service department has been dishonest about the repairs we've needed on the car; we've had to drive there multiple times in our one car and with 3 kids to get left behind by one of their third party servicers, lack of rental cars, and just plain run-around about how service works. Our rental during service was given away and we had to settle for whatever they had, after being promised a particular vehicle. They told us they cleaned our car, when it was clearly just rushed through and not cleaned well. Could not have had a worse experience. This company was lovely until I paid & then the delays and lack of communication began. I ordered from out of state, placed my order with Nicole on Aug 9th. In November I received an estimated date of delivery to their dealership of 12/17-12/19. Amazingly, the telluride arrived to their dealership early, on Dec 6! Dec 6 I was sent electronic paperwork, which I signed immediately and I went straight to the bank to wire my huge down payment. After that I was given nothing but runarounds and delays. It's currently the 20th and I have yet to receive my car and the current ETA is Dec 28-early january. I sold my car and am out so much money. I don't recommend this dealership to those purchasing from out of state, unless you're find paying and mot receiving your vehicle. read more

This is the first review since Covid hit Colorado. I don't know why, but there "customer service has gone way down" This comes from Mike a sales manager. My fiancé and I were buying a truck Kia had in their lot. Unfortunately we were dealing with Amanda. Maybe she was hungry for sales, or commissions. However we felt through the entire experience with her. That she was looking over her shoulder for her next buyer. She glanced over important disclosures about the financing. Such as, THE DEALER HANDLING FEE. She mentioned that $27.00 of the $727.00 fee for was "titling the vehicle". When actually it was an additional fee paid to the dealership for who know what? Additionally we gave the dealer a week and 2 days to repair the few items that needed correcting. When we called to see if the truck was ready. The sales manage Mike told us that Amanda would call us back. This was on Tuesday afternoon about 3:00. She never called. The next morning at 10:00 we called again. Still no word on if the truck was ready to be picked up. Now it gets better.... Amanda put the paperwork through on the truck, before the pickup date. I assume to make her June sales figures look better. Additionally she told us that there would only be 1 credit check. But there were 4 different credit checks on our credit report. This lowers your credit score by 3 to 4 points every time there is a check. We received a payment book in the mail today. Two weeks after we cancelled the sale. I could go on and on, but I think you get the picture. I'm sure the company is good, but do yourself a favor, and steer clear of Amanda. Johnny whom also works there as a sales person was helping us in the beginning. He was very professional and helpful. I started shopping for my Telluride in March 2021. After finding a dealership in California with a small $1109 markup for accessories (edge guards, pain sealant, wheel locks) but nothing close to the $7-$14K markups throughout California, I went ahead and placed my $500 deposit for a 2021 Wolf Grey EX-P/NF/T/AWD. My wife really wanted Everlasting Silver but for the 2021 EX-P this was not an option. After getting more money than expected for our previous vehicle we decided to cancel our 2021 order and inquired about placing a new order for ES 2022 SX/NF/T/AWD. The dealership first advised they would not allow me to place a new order, but after some back and forth they said I could place a new order but would have to pay an additional $1K-$2500 more in markups. I decided to check the forums and came across a post from Carlos Rubio at I-25 Kia indicating that they were placing Telluride orders with a quick turnaround time. I immediately called I-25 and spoke with Ron Volk (GM/Owner). He was very friendly and answered all my questions and never made me feel rushed or unimportant (even though he was just about to walk out the door for the day). I-25 was selling the Telluride at MSRP plus a $695 doc fee and $32 title fee. Not bad considering the insane markups in California. Ron also confirmed that they would do whatever I preferred when the Telluride arrived (not touch the paint, not add any dealership stickers, leave all plastic on for shipment, etc). After my conversation with Ron, I was put in touch with my salesman Carlos who placed the order. I've purchased a handful of vehicles at dealerships (Audi, Honda, Subaru), and this was by far the best customer service experience I have ever had. Carlos was friendly, knowledgeable, and updated me anytime the status or ETA for my Telluride changed. As you can see from my timeline below, I was in touch with him quite a bit. I was never left in the dark or wondering about the status of my vehicle. The Telluride arrived approximately 2 months earlier than I was originally quoted and immediately Carlos texted me, sent me 8 photos, parked it inside to protect it from a thunderstorm, and kept my keys always locked in his desk until the shipper was ready to pick it up. It was reassuring to know that even though I was unable to pick it up, it was still being looked after. Carlos connected me with the finance managers right away so we could take care of the paperwork. Mikel and Ray were my finance managers, and they were also awesome. They helped me with purchasing an extended warranty and figured out how I could still take advantage of the $300 rebate that was being offered. Since I was ordering from out of state, Ray helped me sign all required documents online and then overnighted the hard copies that needed a wet signature. They will also be sending all required forms to the CA DMV so I can take care of registering it in California. I can't express to you how thankful I was to come across the forum post from Carlos back in June. I was shocked when I found out it was delivered on 8/17; less than 2 months after I placed my order. Many dealerships that I spoke with gave me an ETA of 6-10 months from the time it was ordered to delivery. If you are considering purchasing/ordering a Telluride, be sure to do yourself a favor and call I-25 Kia and ask for Carlos Rubio. You will not be disappointed and chances are you will get your Telluride a lot sooner than you planned. 6/21 - Order placed with i25. ETA mid to late October. 7/14 - 1st in line; waiting on ETA 7/19 - ETA 9/3 8/3 - ETA is 9/1 8/17 - Telluride arrived at i25. Below was my original review that 3 of the upper management at this establishment manipulated me into removing. Manipulated because they CALLED MY PLACE OF BUSINESS to tell them "what kind of person they had working for them"- I wish I was making this up but it's verbatim. They searched for me online and got my info via LinkedIn which they then used to contact my company and request to speak to a supervisor. 3 grown men called my cell phone the night this happened to scare and strong arm me into removing my review. I ignored these calls but was met with a phone call by the GM the following morning at work. The below story is from last Nov. Luckily there's no statute of limitations on yelp reviews :) Wow. I know car dealers can be questionable, but I've literally never been so disappointed in a situation. I went last night to look at a car that was currently being fixed. I was showed a work order by the manager Rickey and was told he would call me first thing this morning with the info requested so I could come in today and buy my future car. At 1 pm I called, was told I'd get a return call and email from RICKEY as promised from last night. With the cash in my purse I waited, called again and was told "oh, that car might have sold"....okay....where's Rickey? I stood in front of him last night and asked what I needed to do to and after agreeing that he would call me FIRST THING in the morning I would come and sign the papers to a car I couldn't even test drive yet! Alas, they sold the car to someone without fixing it. Didn't even give me an opportunity since I never once heard from Rickey until he called me "so I could yell at him". You have no idea how tarnished your reputation and your dealership is to me and hopefully to as many people I can get my word across too. Funny thing, because even as I was leaving last night someone told me Willie (who was also supposed to follow up with me today) is one of the best and that they've bought 3 cars from him. This review is for the dealership, not the service department. We heard advertisements for the Family Fun weekend, so we packed up our two kids and drove 30 minutes to look at cars. This is after scouring the website to find out what time the dealership opened and calling the number several times (no one answered and the voicemail included no details like when it was open). We assumed they would be open by 10 am on a Sunday. At 10:38 we roll in (not noticing any jumping castle, face paint or other "family fun" as advertised on the radio). And it's closed. Closed! I'm no car-buying expert, but I would think being closed for half the weekend cuts down on sales. Not to mention they should have marketed a "Family Fun Saturday" to be more accurate. They just lost our business, and we were serious buyers. Update: I just researched and learned that car dealerships aren't allowed to be open Sundays. Would have been nice to know. I have a specific complaint about privacy. I had my car worked on and gave them my cell phone number to call me when the service was finished. Starting then, I have been getting spam calls about Kia warranty work and auto protection plans. Not from I25 Kia, from spammers. I am very careful about giving out my phone number and the calls only started after I had service work done. I can only conclude that Kia sold my personal information. read more

I bought a car here from out of state and overall found the experience to be a good one. The salesperson and owner were prompt and helpful and I really LOVE the car (2018 Niro). Downsides: I found the car on the Kia CPO website but when I flew in to pick up the car was told by two people that the car was not CPO and was talked into buying the protection plan (an extra $2,200). After stressing all weekend I called one of the owners and was told that the car was, after all, CPO. Because they seemed like generally friendly, good-natured folks I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that this was an oversight and not a strategy to get me to buy the protection plan. Also, there was significant scratching/marring on the rear passenger side interior door that was never mentioned. Again, due to my impression of the people there, I'm still giving them a good review. read more

I must admit I wasn't especially happy with my experience the first time I bought a vehicle here....typical salesmen, and after I emphatically told them the highest payment I could afford, and them reassuring me they could get there on the vehicle I wanted, they came back with a payment of $100/month more than what we had discussed. However, due to tough financial times, I had to trade my vehicle back to them and downsize. That experience was surprisingly better. Specifically because this time I worked with LaDawn (in sales), who was awesome. She was super nice and helpful, did some homework for me and found some vehicle options for me before I even got there, and spent the time needed to get me a vehicle in my limited price range that wasn't a total POS. And she told me if vehicles weren't mechanically sound up front and would not recommend those vehicles to me. She isn't the typical pushy salesman, which was awesome because I didn't think I could handle another bad car-buying experience. I would definitely work with her again! read more

Sales department is pretty awesome. Joe sold me two cars and I'm about to trade in my lease. He's easy to work with and talk with. The back and forth between him and his manger was kept to a minimum. As for the service department, changes were made. The folks I dealt with at the old buiding were great. Once they got moved to the new building it went south. Those guys were no longer around. Then a new group came in. Rude as ever and not wanting to be helpful. Talk about no customer service skills. Now there's a new group. This new group actually got parts replaced on my car under warranty. Whereas the previous service group wouldn't even bother looking. However, the only caveat I have is the communication between the front, in person service folks and the actual techs doing the work. It seems like I bring my car in with a few issues and items still are left without being looked into. Stay on the ball with the service people and the techs. Even though we live in Lafayette, we only go to i25 Kia because their customer service is second to none, regardless of which department you work with, so it's worth the drive!
