Worst movers I've ever had the mistake of using. I was talked into these guys through a mutual friend after my father passed and we had to leave the house. 1) charged Nearly double what I was quoted. I was charged nearly double what I was quoted and agreed upon. This was outrageous, I was sure there was a mistake. When calling to speak to someone about this I believe I was given the owners son. The owners son said the guy who did our quote was "getting old" and it "was just a quote". So you grossly miss calculated the cost and then charge the customer double? Nowhere in this phone call did this clown ever apologize and had the most smug attitude on the phone something I'm sure he would not have had we been communicating face to face. 2) terrible workers. The staff was also poor. When wrapping one of my tables the guy actually walked on the table ( table was upside down legs in the air, very long table and the guy walks from one end to other ON THE TABLE) I had to actually yell at this guy. They were not gentle seemed to be in a rush despite packing up a 5500 sq foot house, and overall lack of care was astonishing. I would get better performance from a group of highschoolers than what I was unfortunately presented with by booth movers. 3) damages to new condo To add on to the complete unprofessional and lack of skill labor booth has, they have damaged the walls throughout my house. Some deep scratches some surface level scratches. I've moved 3x in my life and every time I've never had one instance of a scratched wall. I get this can happen but given the rest of their abysmal performance this could not go unrecognized. I was too exhausted dealing with my fathers death and a plethora of other things to continue to entertain the clowns here decided to cut my losses and just let go, but let it be known to anyone else to use ANYONE else other than these guys. I'd the owners son or whoever that man was had even the least bit of customer service ability I'd be able to come to the conclusion accidents happen , but this guy was so condescending and so rude with a few other choice words I'll leave out I cannot NOT RECOMMEND this place enough. read more

Threw valuable one of a kind artwork into boxes , damaging frames , damaging at least one our piece completely. There was no rhyme or readily. To what was thrown into each box... Managed to loose the power cord to my tv... can't find a replacement. Caused what may be irrevocable damage to the floors of my new apartment. Caused extensive damage to the newly skim coated and painted walls in my new home , damaged furniture. Broke my new zero gravity massage chair .., it goes on and on. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND BOOTH MOVERS. I moved out of our home today. Boxes were packed, but the team came in and took canre of the big items. All the furniture and paintings, the bedroom and everything. Some pieces were large but they had now problem handling that. And there was only three of them. It took them 3 hours to come in and take everything out and put it ont he truck. From the home they took everything to the storage unit and took it off the truck and put it into one large storage unit that was no bigger than our living room. At the storage they put the items in specifically so that everything would fit. Furniture first and then the boxes last. It was ideal. You can now even find space and walk in our unit. Everything is identified and you know where it is. I cannot say enough. But a very special thanks to the team. Managed by Anthony, there was also Justice and Edwin. It is actually one family doing this for us today. That means they all worked together. They are well organized, prepared, focused and nice to be with. I even lent a hand if they needed some assistance. They did work as "one". And that is rare to find. So, thanks to Anthony, Justice and Edwin. And thanks to Adam (President) and Dan who coordinated the efforts. I will definitely use Booth Movers again....and ask for Anthony. read more

Due to forces beyond my control I needed to move in the middle of this madness. In addition, moving day was around 95 degrees. Thanks to Eduardo and the crew making a sucky day suck less. They showed up right on time and got right to work. I had previously done a walk through of my place via Skype to show what was going to be moved. I was told the movers would take anything in sealed boxes in addition to all the agreed upon furniture. These guys went above and beyond! They basically took everything that wasn't nailed down. They took pictures off the wall, crates of albums and even emptied my attic, which I thought I had to do on my own since there was a lot of loose crap. They wrapped everything in blankets and bubble wrap. They disassembled and reassembled everything that needed it. The move couldn't have been smoother . The move itself went great. the two gentleman were great, they did my fiance's shortly before. however the billing?!....bait and switch. such b.s. My fiance moved 3 weeks prior to me. She had two full bedroom sets, and a full living room (two sofas) and about 10 - 12 boxes. and two tvs. two guys did the entire move in 4.5 hours, they charged her a total of $789 with additional charges included (fuel surcharge $30). She moved 14 miles from between the two locations. My move entirely different. 1 bedroom set, 1 couch, two end tables and several boxes. and computer monitors (not boxed). my move was under 4 miles....they charged me $955 (fuel charge $45). They arrived at 8am and completed the moved and pulled away at 11am. Total job completed in 3 hours. I called and complained. They came up with all sorts of answers....they are based in moonachie and were closer to my fiance's apt. Really?! i was told i was paying for my property to be moved, not the distance from their facility (which is 20 mins from Waldwick, NJ. Secondly, the person on the phone said i can't compare them to Ridgewood movers (who did my job last year for under $600; all the same furniture plus tv's and paintings) as they are bigger then them and they are just a small company (mind you they've been in business for over 70 years and over 40k moves recorded (on their website). seriously?! how does that compute....my job was smaller in size and less time consuming....and my job was more expensive?! Give me a break....I will never again use booth movers nor will i recommend them to ANYONE. Highway robbery at its finest!!! read more

I was skeptical about using a moving company because of all the horror stories people have, such as overpriced items and broken items. However, these people were impeccable in this process. The process was flawless from the beginning to the end. The crew did more than my original quote. I only quoted 10 items (furniture) and no boxes. But at the end of the day, they carry boxes, toys, clothes, etc at no additional cost, and under the minimum duration of 6 hours. BTW, they take everything apart (without any guidance) and put it back together in the designated location. There's probably a magic wand hidden somewhere. read more
