Found Bootin and Savrick when my family moved to Houston South. They are consistent in providing great quality care. From the start of easy appointment scheduling, to good office culture, healthcare and effortless communication with my insurance. There was a winter school day where the school nurse called me worried for my kid due to high fever. As soon as we ended the call I called B&S Pediatric. They scheduled me in within the hour. They correctly assessed and treated my child. My child enjoys the visit and looks forward to her lollipop. Positive experience with every visit. read more

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I tried to like them because the place looks nice and everyone raves about how good they are but our experiences were terrible. I took my child twice, sick visit and for a 2 year check up. First visit took 2 1/2 hours but they took blood work, urine sample and stool sample so I kind of understood the long wait. Although the Dr asked for a urine sample halfway through our visit then left at 4, in the middle of our appointment that started at 2 and told me to come back to drop off the sample the next day. Luckily my son used the restroom as soon as he left so he did come back to check it. The stool sample ended up being invalid. Our second visit was for my child's 2 year check up at 11:15 on a Wednesday. We got there at 11, found parking and got to the waiting area at 11:07. We waited for over a hour and didn't get sent back into a room until 12:25. When I asked how much longer at 12:15 they said the dr was running behind and I was next in line. We were brought to a room by the nurse , she took my child's weight and height and then she left, never once said the dr will be right with you, I'll be right back or anything of that sort. At 12:45 I asked the nurse if the dr would be seeing us soon, nurse responded "theres one person ahead of you still". At this point my toddler was not having it anymore, it was HOT , we were both hungry because it was way past lunch time. I told the nurse we were just going to leave because we had been waiting forever and she literally started to laugh. We left at 12:50 without being seen by the doctor. Who knows how much longer we would have been waiting if we stayed. The lack of communication was terrible. I would have been completely fine with rescheduling my appointment or getting seen by another doctor if the dr was that behind. A two hour wait with a two year old is very hard to do. As a pediatric office, you'd assume they'd try to be quicker or work on having a better schedule and not scheduling patients back to back. You also have to pay for parking that is hard to find and gets full fast at the Fannin location- not a big deal but it would be nice if they told you to get there early to find parking when making your appointment. They do discount the parking but I payed $8 the first time and $5 the second time. Again, communication goes a long way. I was way more patient and understanding than I should have been. I normally do not leave reviews but i just hope that this doesn't happen to anyone else and that maybe they will see this review and understand from a patients perspective. Typical process for Bootin and Savrick: 1) Once your appointment is scheduled, and you are in office, be prepared to wait approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour in a tiny, cramped patient room that looks like it has not been repainted in the last 10 years before the doctor even sees you. 2) When the doctor does see you, be prepared with your questions to ask like as if you are speed dating, because they will rush you out of there in 5-10 minutes. 3) Be prepared for terrible support staff, who have no clue what they are doing, and are too busy chatting with each other rather than helping their patients. The only positive about this place is that it is easy to schedule an appointment. The wait time is horrible, the doctors overbook their schedules, so you get 5 minutes with an actual doctor if you are lucky. Even that 5 minutes is the worst experience, as only one or two doctors actually listen to you, the rest just ignore you and rush you out like you are taking too much of their precious time. And billing is terrible. Just today, we received a $1000+ bill from them, for services rendered over the course of the last 12+ months, when every single time we go in, we always ask the desk staff if we have any outstanding bills and they always say, "no everything is fine!" which I guess was a lie. Their billing also overcharges for what I can only describe as severally underwhelming services. I guarantee you we will be looking for another pediatric doctor. read more

We have been taking our children to Bootin and Savrick since my son was born in 2007. He will be 16 years old next month and I cannot even begin to describe how incredible grateful I am for this practice. I especially want to say that DR GUNTUKU IS AMAZING! Her bedside manners are great and she always listens to your questions. My kids love her. She has been there every step of the way with my son's issues and even gave us a sense of hope at a time when we were so lost. I've never had an issue with billing as others have mentioned. Pros: doctors are amazing, same day appointments available for sick visits. Pearland location is more accessible. Nurses return calls same day. Someone always answers phone. Cons: the parking for the Fannin location sucks. read more

I wish I could leave negative stars. I have a daughter that Dr. Savrick was recommending a super invasive test. She was only a year old. I called because I had questions due to the invasive nature of the test. Not only did she refuse to speak to me but had her nurse tell me either I scheduled the test or they were going to call CPS on me. I never said I wasn't going to do the test. I simply had questions as to what to expect. She is a monster. Oh, and the test she insisted on had no results because there was nothing wrong with my daughter. I had to watch my screaming baby get strapped to a board and catheterized for absolutely no reason other than Dr Savrick can't ever be wrong about anything. read more

OUR DR: We've been seeing Dr. McGrann for almost 4 months and I absolutely love her. She's personable, interested, and seems to genuinely care about my little family. GETTING INTO THE BUILDING: I visited this location for the first time this week and it was more difficult than the Pearland location (but I'm terrible with understanding Houston roads). You park in a parking garage behind Chase Bank and walk through Chase building 7501 into building 7505. There is also valet between the two. Take your parking ticket in and they will validate it. Also, you can't enter 7505 from the front, so don't waste your time walking around. THIS LOCATION: This location is just as cute as the Pearland office with all the cartoon animals on the walls. Thee is a well and sick side for your children and a TV playing cartoons on each side. The office staff was kind and patient & I had no trouble checking in or out. GETTING A LAST MIN APT: Simple. Called and they told me what time I could come in same day to see doctor of my choice. read more

Dr. Bootin is a GREAT Pediatrician! She is supportive of my modified vaccine schedule for my child, super friendly, and answers any questions that I have. Why only 4 stars? Well, I'd actually rate 2 or 3 stars b/c of the location and nurses... Location is in the Medical Center, so probably not too surprising to pay a parking garage fee. CASH ONLY! :P The garage itself is really tight, and you have to drive up to at LEAST the 3rd floor for visitor parking. (Watch out, though. Waiting time can be long = the more you have to pay). Nurses...there were maybe two or three super friendly and kind nurses at the office. The rest kind of seemed annoyed to be there, or to have to "serve" the customers. The wait to get into a room, and then to see a nurse, and then to see the doctor is LONG. Be sure to bring a blanket for your little one b/c mine went for LONG periods of time in her diaper. One nurse in particular was NOT gentle in administering a shot to my child. In the past, I had time to initial the immunization sheet, prep my baby, and then give her her shot. This nurse practically stabbed the needle into my baby's leg WHILE I was initialing the sheet, and announced, "ALL DONE!" just as I finished. She then put a band-aid NEXT to the location of the shot (blood everywhere), then started removing the tissue-paper on the exam table before I even realized what had happened. I think she must have thought I was one of "those" "bad" moms that doesn't give a ton of shots to my baby at one time. (grrr)...as I'm typing this, I'm remembering how angry I was at that nurse, and am now removing two stars in this rating. In conclusion, if you don't mind paying a Parking Garage fee, and don't mind nasty nurses, then Dr. Bootin is FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!! But if you're looking for a good all-around pediatric experience (nurses and all), then you might want to consider another place. 5-1-23 I brought my 15 yo son to see Dr. Guntuku for a possible ankle sprain. She thoroughly checked him out, and by his demeanor, she quickly realized that his situation was serious. She asked her MA if she could work her magic to see if my son could get in to an orthopedic asap which she was able to! Dr. Guntuku still wanted an x-ray which showed a fracture. She called the x-ray technician even before we made it home to hear the results. She then called me to explain the findings and told me exactly what our next step would be. HORRIBLE DOCTOR OFFICE!!! IF YOU WANT A HUMILIATING EXPERIENCE TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE! I was taking my two month old to see Dr. Savrick but after the humiliating service I got from the front office I am never returning here! We had an appointment to see the doctor for my daughters first vaccines but we were turned away because they had not been able to verify our insurance yet. I called prior to us driving all the way up there and asked the nurse if everything was good to go. She said yes, "go ahead and bring her in for her shots." I even provided them proof my insurance was paid and up to date. My husband and i got very upset with them and asked why they were just now informing us of this and the employee (who handles billing, I'm assuming) yells out loud for the whole room to hear "it is not my problem when you pay your bills but we HAVE to know we're going to get paid for before we see your daughter." This doctors office made us feel like we were just money to them. Instead of helping us they turned their back on us. We were very hurt and humiliated but most of all hurt because our 2 month old daughter had to go through this. Her first experience with people who don't give a crap about your health or well being. They just care about where their paycheck is coming from and quickly they can receive it. The doctor herself seems to rush her patients too! She comes in quickly checks the baby ask "any questions" and proceeds to just blow off our conversation and is gone in less than 10 minutes. Making us feel as though we are wasting HER TIME! Note to Dr. Saverick, instead of worrying about who is going to pay you, why don't you invest your money to train your employees how to handle your patients with care and good customer service. They just gave you a bad name. I only view your office as a money hungry team but I guess it's just a reflection of you Dr. Saverick. We actually enjoyed you very much when you came to exam our new born at The Womens Hospital. It's the reason we chose to trust you with our baby girls health. It's a shame! read more

Upon arrival, office staff was very friendly and prompt. My daughter and I were called to the back within 5 minutes of arriving to the office. Once the nurse took my daughters weight & height Dr.Bootin saw us within 10 minutes of us being the back. Everything was done quickly and with ease. Dr.Bootin was friendly as usual and gave my daughter her checkup for the reason we came in. She asked questions concerning my daughters' needs and wrote a prescription that worked very well. We were in and out the office within 45 minutes of arriving. I am now 28 years old and Dr.Bootin was my pediatrician, my 7 year old, and my 4 year old pediatrician. When I had both of my kids she was the one who came to do their exam in the hospital before they could leave and in the NICU. She will always be my choice of pediatrician for my kids and my kids in the future! She's very nice & well educated in her practice. I highly recommend her to anyone who first having kids or already has kids and is looking for a knowledgeable pediatrician. read more

Hate we moved to Cypress...but we still take that drive to see her in Pearland. Worth it. My only complaint is that the admin staff is rude. Awful location, parking sucks and is located in a parking garage that is on the other side of a building next to the pediatrician office building. The waiting room was colorful, yes..... but extremely unwelcoming & bad energy. The reviews are right about the awful customer service with the ladies up front. All but one of them were incredibly uninterested and rude. We had well visits set for this place next month, but after our sick visit (and first visit ever) we have cancelled our upcoming scheduled appointment and will not be returning. What a major disappointment. Doctors really should think about the people who sit up front and are the face of the office - it makes a very big difference in keeping patients. Bad energy and bad attitudes. Definitely not a place you want to bring your kids to for a doctor visit they are already scared to go to! read more

Dr. Sissa was my daughter's primary doctor since she was born. I chose to give this office a chance considering her primary doctor (Dr Sissa) would be out for a while. Everyone was always very courteous and sweet. But when it came to consistency and my child's health, we started to feel like a number or just another family in the system. We always felt rushed here, but their niceness kept us coming back. Sadly it wasn't enough. The organization here is lacking and an issue for me as a full time working-first time mom. My daughters 12 month check up was in February; her blood was tested but I never received the results. Aprox 2 months later I realized I hadn't received them so I called. I found out her iron levels were low and Nurse assistant couldnt tell me why her results weren't followed up with us. We waited before writing this review in hopes to receive a call back from her Doctor or the clinic itself with an explanation of some sort but we never received one. 3 months later-We have moved on to a different primary and we're now struggling just to receive her medical records. I hope this review will encourage management to make necessary changes for their patients and future ones to come. read more

We love Dr Monica McGrann!! My son has been a patient of her for 10 years, since birth. Throughout the years we have had our share of visits, from normal wellness visits to the things that scare you as a parent. In addition to providing top notch care, Dr McGrann has always had a way of taking away the Mom anxiety we sometimes get when our kiddos are sick. She's truly fantastic and treats us like good friends. No matter how long it is between visits, she remembers our conversations & asks about the things that matter to us. I would highly recommend Dr McGrann to all my friends & family. We are lucky to have such a class A & kind Pediatrician. In regards to the office, we have made visits to both the Fannin and Pearland locations. We prefer Pearland because of the location and it's a little bit easier to park and access, however both locations are great! I've never had anything but the best of care from the receptionist to the occasional visit with a different Physician in an emergency situation. I have to agree with the reviews and will be switching our practice. The billing department is poor, and charged me $100 office visit even though I have insurance stating it would be refunded once they could verify and now I can't get anyone on the phone. I have had a positive with the doctor which is why I stayed, Dr. Michael Lerman is AMAZING, but I absolutely hate this practice. The office locations are disgusting and I can tell the rooms are not cleaned and sanitized in between patients. The final straw is after the last time I took baby for WCE I came down with stomach virus that same night. I know I could potentially pick this up from anywhere, but I highly suspect this disgusting office is where I got sick. Baby is also sick again, with a "barking" cough after his WCE and I will have to take him to urgent care. Please find another pediatrician! I hope Lerman moves elsewhere and I can pick back up with him down the line. read more

Customer service for BOOTIN and Savrick has taken a turn for the worse. I have been a patient myself and for my three children since they were born, ages 18, 8, and 5. I am officially leaving them. The receptionist today was beyond rude and disrespectful. Talking over me, hanging up in my face, refusing to give me supervisors name. I know this is not how Dr. Bootin would want her patients to be treated. If Jasmine is kept around, you will continue to lose patients. No customer should be treated as I was. I am appalled! This office was highly recommended to us from someone at our church, so I thought we'd try it out. Here's the DL: 1.) Yes, you have to pay for parking. The sign in the pediatrician's office says it's $8 to park in the garage and $5 for the valet (NOT free valet). If you bring in your parking ticket/stub to the office, they'll stamp it for you and discount $3. Of course, I didn't know that and left our stub in our car. Lame. 2.) The office is very appealing. There's a sick side and a well side to keep children separated. There's a flat screen TV on both sides that plays a movie. We had to wait about an hour to see our doctor, and had to watch the same movie because no one would change it. This was annoying. 3.) Wait time is forever. We waited about 40 min. in the waiting room and then at least another 30 when they set us up in a room in the back. 4.) Friday attire not very professional. We came in on a Friday so most of the staff was wearing jeans and t-shirts. Not crazy about it - they looked like they worked at a fast food joint. 5.) Nurse not gentle or kid-friendly. I did not like the way our nurse administered the flu shots to my girls (ages 3 and 1). She wasn't friendly or gentle or made it into a game like the nurses at our old pediatrician's office would (we recently moved to TX). My girls weren't used to the unfriendly manner and cried more than usual, but the nurse just stabbed, tape and muttered," Have they ever had flu shots before?" I read a previous review that stated their nurse didn't even cover the area poked with the bandaid correctly - this was our case too! When we took my girls bandaids off, the sticky part was covering their "owies!" The least they can do is use "cute" bandaids. Our former pediatrician used Snoopy or Princess bandaids and would even give little certificates to kids for being "brave." I was really disappointed at how NOT kid-friendly the flu shot procedure was here. 6.) Last but not least, review of the doc. We were seen by Dr. Woodrum. She was friendly enough, but I wasn't crazy about a few things: - First, she seemed really impatient with my 3 yo. I was trying to talk to the doc and my preschooler kept asking "Mom! Mom! Mom!" and before I could answer her, the doctor would say sternly, "Mommy's talking right now." It bothered me that she took over like that and I didn't like her tone with my child. - Second, I was really worried about my 1 yo's wheezing and was asking a lot of questions about it and at one point, she said, "Just use your mommy common sense." I found that a little condescending. - Third, her tune changed a little when I considered having her give my 1 yo her well check exam. She was super friendly and more personable and at one point asked whom I chose as my PCP (Bootin) and that she'd be happy to administer the exam and if I chose to stay with Bootin her "feelings wouldn't be hurt." What?! What do her feelings have to do with all this? All I care about is my child having a great doc. It just seemed like an awkward thing to say. Overall, I was not blown away by this practice and the service provided. Mind you, we had THE BEST pediatrician in our former home, so the bar is raised pretty high. I'm still considering whether or not to come here again and just stick with either Bootin or Savrick the next time around (and speak up to the nurses if they seem unprofessional or not very gentle and kind with my children). read more

Unbelievable. My wife and I showed up on-time for a 5:30pm "new mother" appointment. The Doctor was a no show 40 minutes later we got up and left. 20 minutes in - no one had even looked at us - so my wife asked "hey is the doctor coming soon". The lady in the front was nice and said "oh soon we were really busy today". At 6:10 - 40 minutes LATE - we walked out. I called the office the next day and asked for Dr Bootin's Voicemail or Email, they would not give it to me. So I left a message and asked her to call me back as I wanted to talk about what happened. Just to see if it was a fluke, and if she cared we might give them another shot. 4 business days later she has not called back. And of course I can't get her direct contact to tell her how I feel. read more

My wife and I booked in to see Dr. Bootin after she was recommended by a friend. Unfortunately they did not accept his United healthcare insurance. When we first met Dr. Bootin one evening for a pre registration introduction, she kept us waiting for 45 mins due to a patient check up which is understandable. We interviewed Dr Bootin and she was very nice, in which we mentioned our friends recommendation and the problem he had with her practice not accepting his insurance, in which she knew nothing about and did not understand why not and we told her we were with Cigna and she said they accepted that insurance. Based on her personable persona and that they took our insurance, we decided to go with her practice. We put an appointment on for Monday 8th in which they took our Cigna insurance details a week prior to the appointment. When we got to the practice on the 8th with our 6 day old newborn we were told by Bootins receptionist that they did not take our insurance and the receptionist asked the insurance clerk if she had called us to let us know, in which she replied, "no, we just don't accept their insurance"! REALLY.... You can imagine our fury as we are standing there to see the Dr with our 6day old newborn. When I complained to the receptionist her reply was "ok". No apology, nothing. No post phone at all from the Dr. Apologizing for their inability and really bad customer service. In hindsight, if they got the basics wrong, I'm glad we're not letting our baby girl been seen by them..... A lucky escape. read more

Since my chosen pediatrician didn't have have privileges to practice at the hospital where I gave birth, they were sent over. They overbook the doctors on purpose as it means more money for them and they know parents want their children to be seen so they will wait anyways. Dr Bootin is the bomb! Both my son and daughter have seen her since birth and I fully entrust her and her associates when my kids are sick. They are thorough fast and efficient!! I highly recommend them.. They are even open on Saturdays for a few hours for those weekend cases. I don't mind paying for parking because when it comes to my kids health does $8 really matter? They do validate and you pay I think $5. The wait time is no problem in my experience. I get there early and make sure that everything is in order so there are never any issues. I also make sure to have any questions I have ready.. If they have your pharmacy on file they can call in your prescription. If the pharmacy is fast as in my experience the meds are ready and waiting for you. read more

I cannot believe the low scores here. Most of these reviews were written prior to the move to the new location so are not accurate. Yes, sometimes you cannot get in with Dr. Bootin or Dr. Savrick but the "junior" doctors are not so junior and are very awesome. Some say your reward for success is more work. Although our primary is Dr. Bootin, we LOVE Dr. Collard. She has helped my son's eczema and explains to him in language that he understands what is happening to his body and how he can help to fix it. That is what a good pediatrician should do. Also, if you have not been to the new location you cannot do an educated review in my opinion. The new location, while yes, there is still paid parking, the parking is cheaper and doesn't go above $6. Also you can pay with credit card and there is ALWAYS a convenient spot. Also there is free valet since it is a hospital which is great if you have a sick kid to get out of the car. The new waiting room is very pretty and has more benches and chairs. Still separated into sick and well which we love. And I don't know what you are talking about nasty nurses, the nurses are perfectly awesome to my kids no matter which one we get and they even remember their names when we come in :) Maybe she was having a bad day when you saw her. read more

Overall great experience at Bootin & Savrick. When I was pregnant with my son ( back in 2015) I was able to schedule a "meet & greet" with a pediatrician. As a new mom, I really appreciated them taking the time to answer all my questions even before I had chosen them as my son's pediatrician. Once I began taking my son to his regular visits I knew I had made the best choice! The office staff made it easy for me to schedule appointments and I could always leave a message for the nurse when I had a question. They were always quick to respond. This review is long overdue. My son, Jax has been a patient of Dr. McGrann's since the day he was born (Nov 2016). I have never met a doctor with the most wonderful bedside manners. Dr. McGrann always asks a ton of questions to fully understand my sons situation and provides the best guidance. On multiple occasions, she has called back a day later (which I do not expect) to check up on my son. Overall, I am so thankful to have found such great care for my son, and I am looking forward to my next son (currently pregnant) being cared for by Dr. McGrann. We've been seeing Dr. Savrick for 6 years and absolutely love her! She's quick, efficient, and gives wonderful (no nonsense) advice. She's not afraid to talk to the kids and let them know what's going on and gives examples that they can understand. My husband and I trust her and our kids trust her 100%. We moved away from the Houston area but still make the hour and a half drive to see her. We have seen other physicians in the practice if Dr. Savrick is out and they are all great and super friendly. The nursing team is awesome and wonderful with the kids. Their practice is clean and busy but never makes you feel like you're just a number. If you are at the Fannin location they cap your parking so you only pay $5 for the garage. Highly recommend them. read more

We've been patients of Dr Savricks since 2006 when my triplets were in the NICU. Once we were discharged it would have been probably more convenient to find a doctor closer to our home (we live in The Woodlands) but we loved her and trusted her so much that we've been making the drive ever since. She is extremely knowledgeable, doesn't sweat the small stuff, gets us in and out quickly and we love that she treats the child and not just the symptoms/illness. When my kids were in the NICU she was so good about looking outside of the box and fixing issues...knew that home was where they would thrive and fought with us to get them there (ex let one of mine go home on a feeding tube even though NICU wanted to keep him longer). I now have 6 kids and they all too agree that Dr Savrick is THE BEST! read more

We love Dr. Savrick! Having four children ranging from teen to baby, I have seen my share of pediatricians. With the birth of my third I decided to give this office a try, and soon after I switched over all of my children. I love that she tells it like it is, but is laid back about it. My children love to visit her, and the office staff is always friendly. Receptionists were rude, waiting areas and rooms were cold, and the doctor was not exceptionally helpful. This was our first child, and were hoping for a good experience. This was definitely not it, and if it's your first child's first visit to the doctor I would recommend a different place. read more

We were beyond blessed to receive Dr. Savrick in the NICU at the Women's hospital. From the moment we met I was determined to keep her as long as we could. Through apnea machines, flu as an infant, croup that never ended she guided me through with best care my baby could get! In almost now 9 years of care no matter how far my location changes have been we keep her. She returns very call and her nurses are the BEST at helping a nervous/scared mom. Outside my mommy care if my son is sick he will tell me it's time to go see her. And if it's a check up he's excited every time to go see her. Prevention and Healthcare is an important foundation in our baby's life she has molded into him and I value this overall! Thank you Dr. Savrick and your phenomenal staff for all you do! read more

Dr. Sissa is the best! She was our initial Pedi doctor when my wife delivered at womens. We also saw one of the other doctors at the hospital (either Bootin or Savrick, not sure) and did not like her at all. Sissa has been awesome and helpful everytime we saw her. She also has Fridays at the Pearland office. Definitely would recommend these offices for her. She rocks! read more
