I'm so grateful to have come here today. Every staff member was kind, professional & caring. I'm so used to the front desk staff being rude & lacking not only professionalism but customer service. Horrible experience.. they failed to notify me that my daughter had a broken bone and not just a sprain in her foot... four day delayed care until we called to check status.. and after we found out we were pretty upset. That they dropped the ball and didn't notify us.. we were told to go see a special.. couple days later. We spoke back with urgent care.. because we were upset. They stated that the previous person misinformed us... and our child was OK in a boot and the fractured heal. We disregarded what they said.. and went through and seeing the specialist.. the specialist put a cast on my daughter's leg. And said that she is to put absolutely no weight on her leg.... Next level urgent care.. really dropped the ball. And they don't care... Imran Shafi PA- c is the person that was referred to as doctor when he was around my child.. Shoeb Khalid is his supervising doctor.. which is not on site. But possibly available through phone call... I will be filing a complaint with the medical board as well.. read more

If I could give it negative stars I would! I had an awful experience at the clinic because of a staff member named Brianna. She was unbelievably rude to my mother rolling her eyes, talking down to her, and acting like we were bothering her just by asking simple questions. Her attitude was completely dismissive and unprofessional from the moment we walked in. It honestly felt like she had no interest in helping anyone and shouldn't be working with patients at all. The whole interaction was disrespectful and left a terrible impression. You guys need todo better with hiring people who actually want to work. Or atleast have sympathy. Very disappointed. I chose to go here because of the convenience of how close it is to where I live. I came here 3 times to get some blood work done for worker's comp. Each time I've gone in, they were able to bring me back right away, quickly see me and get my blood work done, and I was out really fast. I'm very pleased with how efficient and fast they were. At most other doctor's offices I've gone to, I always have to do quite a bit of a wait. They're also very friendly here too, which I love! read more

The first time treatment was good and service was decent at the front desk, this time the young lady at the front was incredibly short answered and seemed to be bothered by my presence. I went to the front desk to ask a question she and answered a very short and quick yes but never looked from her phone. I only stayed because I was already there; however, I will not be coming back. Everyone was very nice! The PA was amazing and sweet! Had to call back the next day with questions and they so kindly answered all my questions and walked me through everything. The wait was minimal, I waited in my room for maybe 5/10 min before I saw the PA. She listened and didn't judge or tell me I was wrong . She clarified with anything she was confused by. I've never been to ER or needed urgent care before, but this was my best and closest option before confirming my concern was ER-worthy. The staff was friendly, but my bp was taken over my sleeve. Never having met the doctor, he walks in telling me there's nothing wrong with me. I pleaded my case, but he just kept brushing me off to eventually tell me I was just being hormonal. WHY would I be there if I didn't feel something was wrong? The dr dismissed me and sent me off with prescriptions to treat individual symptoms, which I felt he issued just to shut me up. Later that night, I could no longer stand the pain so I took myself to the ER where I was admitted into the hospital for 5 days. I tell you my story to say this: I would never go back there again. I would never recommend anybody to go there. I could have died. He never even listened to me. Who argues with their patient so adamantly just to get away with doing the bare minimum and get the most out patients' insurance? Never again. read more

Next level care need to get all there locations working together. I was sent to 3 different locations having to fill out the same paperwork. Over and over again. Why can't they use the one a previously filled out prior. They should have a network that connects with every location. It is ridiculous. I'm not one to give bad reviews, but I give this place no stars!! ZERO!!! I went in for pain. I'm pretty sure I broke my wrist. I'm from out of town and they refused to even pick up a phone to verify my insurance so that they could help me. Just because their computer showed I was inactive. I called and verified with my insurance company and they said that they should have no problems showing it being active. All they needed to do was either access the portal or give them a call. And the girl behind the front desk refused to pick up a phone to call to verify. This is laziness and shows what little compassion they have for their patients. So I would not recommend them to nobody. Find somewhere else to go that's my recommendation. I expected a little bit more professionalism from a business like this. From a business that claims to care. Like I said, find somewhere else.!! read more

This urgent care is near my home. I have had the pleasure of using them on a few occasions for myself snd my daughter. They are so pleasant and personable. I had to recently use them because my sciatica had me barely able to walk. They were so kind and understanding. They also offer $35 athletic physicals for the school districts. The forms are available on their website. Even calling customer service to make an appointment, the operators are pleasant. If we can't get to our primary care doctors, this is our next choice. A plus is that they are covered on my insurance. A few times I didn't have a copay. When I did it was $20. Can't beat that. I have not been here where they were just crowded and backed up. They seem to be good at spacing out appointments. read more

I came in for a fractured wrist that is very painful. I had X-rays but they took more the provider explained that swelling is why I couldn't get a cast that day but to come back in a few days if I was having insurance trouble finding an orthopedic doctor and they could help. I got a bulky splint but if feels a little more stable. read more

AWFUL wait times!! Even with the scam online check-in and wait, expect to still wait a couple hours at home then another HOUR once you get to the clinic. Very disorganized system. I am leaving a 1 star review because there is no option for a 0. The customer service at the front desk was so bad I downloaded yelp just to leave this review. My girlfriend and I are out of state on a trip and she needed to come be seen here. 9/1/23 upon presenting her insurance card the guy at the front said he did not think they took the insurance and then walked to the back to ask if they did. He was told no. He was very rude and short the entire time. We walked back to the car to look for a provider in network and found out that this facility is in fact in network. We walked back in and had to wait in a long line to get back to the desk. We then showed the guy where it said they are in network and he asked again and was told yes they do take it. We asked if we would be in front of the big crowd of people we were initially ahead of and all he could respond is "everyone will be brought back when they are called." I told him we were here before all of them and you sent us away because you did not take our insurance and he responded the same thing, "everyone will go back as they are called when rooms open." Despite the bad feeling we both had in our stomachs about this place I tried to continue the process to check in. We had to fill out paperwork and then were told we would still have to put a credit card on file for the clinics minimum $180 fee to be seen even though they were suppose to take our insurance. The guy couldn't even figure out how to type in the insurance information in the computer and remained sassy and rude with me for a little while longer before I decided to simply walk out. If this is how the staff at the front treats their patients I couldn't imagine what goes on in the back. Very disappointing and very unprofessional read more

Waited more than 4 hours to see a doctor. Had to wait and extra 30 once in a room. Got a prescription for a simple antibiotic. Waited patiently for an hour and the pharmacy closed. They closed and still no prescription with a kid that had a high fever and strep. I really can't confirm either Urgent or Care with this place because they showed neither. This place is fantastic! I came in during the winter storm and they were one of the few places that were still functioning. I came in and I was immediately greeted. I gave them my insurance and ID. The patient paper work was texted to my phone which made that process very convenient. I was immediately taken to the room to be seen and the appointment was over in 20 minutes. The staff here were extremely accommodating and helpful. I felt cared for and well taken care of. I was given additional prescriptions to help just in case so that I wouldn't have to return. This location is well managed. I can't say enough about the staff! They made what could have been a difficult situation very easy to navigate. I would definitely come back for quick care to this location. If you are in the Meyerland area and need urgent care this is definitely the place to choose. I have nurses in my family, I respect them and know they are really knowledgeable professionals, but they are NOT doctors. There are certain things that they can do as well as doctors and sometimes even better, experience counts too, but not all. This time the nurse practitioner at this urgent care clinic failed to diagnose my laryngitis, she thought it was just a virus. I saw her las night and she only prescribed me Mucinex DM and a cough syrup (that she forgot to send to the pharmacy until this morning). After an awful night I called them and instead of asking me to go back and check me again they just said that my prescription was already a the pharmacy and that I should be feeling better soon. Went to another urgent care clinic WITH A DOCTOR and he prescribed me antibiotics, gave me a steroid shot and other things, he also said "absolutely no talking". read more

I was called that my room was ready and once I arrived I was checked in and taken to a room. 10 minutes later I'm told I cannot be seen because 3 patients are waiting in X-rays and I won't be seen until 10:45 PM. I was the only patient there! I'm in pain and was told to leave. I was on the waiting list since 7:00 PM. And this was a message from the "manager." Careless staff just cared to go home on time! Went to the urgent care on Beechnut on a Saturday afternoon with pain due to a dental problem after making an appointment 1 hr. prior to arriving. Could not find a dental office that was open. Was seen by nurse practitioner Brittani Langlinais. She knew what to prescribe for my situation until I was able to see a dentist the next week, got me through the weekend. Went the Tuesday after Thanksgiving for a sinus infection I'd had through the weekend; needed to get money for copay. Waited 3h, a nurse practitioner takes my temperature of 97.5°F, and tests me with a nasal swab without telling me what it was for. Then she asks ME what I think it is, I tell her it's for a sinus or lung infection, she gives me prescriptions for antibiotics, cough medicine, & nasal spray. I get a bill over 2 months later tell me it's for $250 for "office/outpatient new" & $357 for SARS testing! The first symptom of SARS is a fever of over 100°F, which I hadn't after 5d ill. There hasn't been a suspected case of SARS in Texas since 2003, twenty years ago. There's NEVER been a confirmed case. This isn't medical care. It's fraudulent bill padding. And charging new patients $250 for this service is ridiculous. I find out about all of this after my insurance was already billed and they texted me they were about to debit me $377. Note that they were quick to get my financial information when I came in. if you've never gone, don't go. if you've gone, you might be part of my class action suit. read more

I actually went to the COVID testing site of Next Level Urgent Care on Gulfton. The caregivers were absolutely fantastic, and I am a hard person to impress from a customer service perspective. Kind, gentle, and patient with this 57-year-old baby who was fearful of the nasal swab. Brooks did an awesome job taking the test with my son with disabilities. AnI scheduled the appointment less than two hours before! $50 in and out in less than 30 minutes. read more

Dr Hsu Put me on powerful antibiotic without actually testing for infection. After 2 days of harmful side-effects. I had to go to another urgent care to identify that its not bacterial infection just a ear pressure and had pain killers. Now, i can't stop the antibiotic because I've started it already it and its draining my energy everyday and giving me headaches. She didn't even check my records before seeing me. When I asked what do you think about my High BP. Response was :Oh.! I haven't checked the file yet. And she didn't give me chance to ask any more questions. The first time I visited in Jan of 2017, I showed up to Next Level and I could barely breath and was very scared. I was checked in quickly and seen immediately. The doctor was very friendly and concerned but determined that my issue was beyond what they could help me with and directed me to the ER. I thought I was going to have to pay for the visit but turns out I did not so I appreciated that since I didn't have insurance at the time. The 2nd time I visited was last week on a Friday morning. I thought I was in for a long day of waiting around. However, the check-in was even quicker this time! I was in the doctor's office within 5 minutes of my arrival and was able to fill out a quick symptom questionnaire via tablet while I waited. That was convenient. I waited less than 5 minutes to have my vitals checked out by the tech and maybe another 5 minutes before I saw the doctor. She was friendly and informative of all my options for next steps, which I appreciated. I even received a follow up call to see how I was doing the next day. Nice touch. The front desk staff, the tech and the doctor were all friendly and professional, the check-in process is quick and efficient, and the office is clean, inviting and local. Hopefully I won't be back any time soon but I will definitely keep them in mind if urgent care services are needed. read more

I have to take a moment to update my previous review. I am happy to report that I did receive a call from Dr. Shek who was very concerned about my experience and wanted to follow up. He explained that when a patient needs to return for the same thing that they were just seen for, there shouldn't be a new charge. He offered to refund my payment from the original visit and invited me to come back and see someone again for follow-up. I did go in Thursday evening and was seen by PA - Hillary. She was very attentive, listened intently to my saga and checked my vitals including my breathing as I am asthmatic and had been experiencing shortness of breath that started with the spider bite! She gave me a steroid shot and since I had seen my PCP earlier in the day and received an antibiotic I think this whole ordeal should be closed. I am very impressed by the care I received as follow-up. Hope this standard is upheld moving forward. Based on this experience I am very satisfied! read more

This is the 2nd time I have used the Meyerland Next Level Urgent care and both visits were excellent. I requested an appointment using the app, which is an amazing way to schedule! I was kept up with when to head toward the clinic. Once I got there, I was greeted warmly by the front desk, waited maybe 10 minutes before I was put in a room. both the nurse and doctor spent time with me to determine needed tests and a diagnosis after testing. Would not recommend for children or anyone with something truly "urgent". We waited over an hour and half to be seen while my child was in extreme stomach pain. Literally crying on the floor. No one seemed to notice, nor did they care. When we finally saw someone, it was not a doctor. We ended up getting referred to the ER after all that waiting.
