My favorite stores in this center are Van Huesen and the Bass Shoe Outlet. Every time I stop here I leave with bags of merchandise. The building itself is unique with its rustic barn ambiance, and overall the place is kept extremely clean. The bathrooms are industrial but clean, and there is ample parking around the stores. The Outlet Center is also conveniently located off Exit 1, but sometimes getting back on the highway can be a pain if it is during rush hour traffic. Overall this is a great Outlet Center with great stores and deals. It would be nice to see the center continue to have these great stores and possibly expand to other brands in the future.

I showed the worked the stain and said, don't you have a no stain policy? The worker said no, it's your responsibility to fully check over the item before purchasing. That sure would have been nice to know BEFORE I bought anything! I can't even donate these pants to the Salvation Army because THEY have a no stain policy. I will never shop here again. You can get higher quality items at free clothing closets. Save your money.

My initial scan showed me a handsome "older gent" (egads, maybe 55?) was leaning on his forearms against one of the shelves. The Marlboro Cowboy with a Sam Elliot on his upper lip, eyed me. (Inside, I thought, "hm, maybe he's wondering what a woman is doing in a store that sells workboots?") Then he said, "Can I help you with something?" And yes, yes, he could! He actually paid attention to what I said (black only, no copper rivets) and I chose two pairs of shoes in the space of four minutes ($59 and $89). When he moved around behind the cash register to ring me up, his colleagues (two other gents sans fancy facial hair) asked me, "How'd he do?" to which I responded with a shoulder shrug and a "meh" keeping in tradition with the reserve of New Hampshah. The gents smiled and mustache said, "they are trying to get rid of me because I'm too old." To this I replied, "they are just jealous because they can't grow a mustache like yours." (Heck, I'm a woman and I'm jealous!) Love the shoes. Love the stache. I'll be back next time I'm driving a pumpkin. And maybe... it'll be happily ever after.

The last time that I came into this store I bought a pair of work boots and I have to say that I wasn't disappointed. The money that I spent on them was well worth the quality I got. This store often has the best selection of footwear in the area, and their clearance shelves are always packed with items. The other great thing about this store is the fact that they have a ton of larger sizes. I have to shop for a size 14/15 shoe, and I have never had any issue finding something here. The only downside to this store is the fact that some of their boots are a bit overpriced, but if you keep an eye on their sales as well as their clearance section, you will not be disappointed by the product you get.

I stopped in for a look see on my way up the Mohawk Trail from Greenfield on the way to Shelburne Falls. They have Sheepskin everything here - shoes, moccasins, gloves, hats, and more. One would hope that with a place like this the goods were made locally, or at least somewhere in New England or even Canada. Unfortunately, everything I examined had a "Made in China" tag attached to it. I'm trying whenever possible to buy things "Made elsewhere" than China. If being "Made in China" does not bother you - then this place may have just what you are looking for!
