Here for our weekly trivia night. Often 10 or more of us. Tonight ordered mediocre food. Mediocre service. The worst was the mistake made drink. Ordered a second makers and seven and it tasted like water. Asked the server to take it back and she came back with the same drink stating the manager made it and there is no way it was wrong. Well I drink this often. I know what it tastes like. She refused to remake it so I said keep It. The group pushed and the manager came over. She was rude and confrontational. I have been passing by Booty's for some time and just thought "wings, meh." But Booty's is much more. Even my wife said "I'm shocked that we've never been here before!" Yeah, it's a sports bar with wall-to-wall televisions and a nice big bar. But I thought their food offerings were more complete and interesting than many. We started with fried zucchini and Jamaican jerk wings. Both were very good. For my main, I decided on the fish and chips. They were very good and not greasy at all. We have been coming to Booties for a long time. They used to have the best tenders but now they changed them and they're terrible so I never ordered them anymore. The wings are always very good whether you get bone in or boneless and the sauces are extremely good. Service is always good and they have TVs all over the place to watch any sport you can think of. I would have given a five star, except for the fact that they only have Pepsi products which are gross, but that's me a lot of people like Pepsi, but you would think an establishment like this would serve both so everybody can be happy drinking soft drinks and the fact that they changed the tenders, it always boggles my mind when you perfected something and then change it, if it's not broken, don't fix it. First I would like to start off with how nice this place looked. It is a nice big/spacious sports bar. Definitely a great place to possibly watch a game. Seemed like a fun atmosphere. The outdoor seating was great too. Very nice night to eat and hang/chat with friends/family. We were seated quickly and our server was attentive & polite throughout the night. One thing that I really loved about this bar was the fact that you can taste the different types of sauces before ordering your wings. I thought that was a unique experience (stay away from the lemon pepper wet ). For a pregame(great name for an appetizer), we had the Elote fries that truly changed my life . They are an absolute MUST TRY! Fantastic! I personally had the sweet honey bbq wings which were great. I usually go all drums and this establishment allows you to do that for a dollar up-charge for every 5 wings you order. The wings were great the only negative thing I would say is that I would like them to be crunchier, that's more of a personal preference. Other than that, the flavor was great. I thought for sure it'd be busy on a Sunday, but it wasn't bad! Our group was sat and we had a hard time picking things off of the menu. All of the wing flavors sounded good, so we were stumped. Our table ended up trying a lot of different ones and they were good! We also got the elote fries (yum!). My only complaint was that the service was slow. When simplicity is key, but the majority of us are chasing the affordable price point with quality food options, I have found Booty's to not disappoint. With a happy hour that allows you freedoms with beverage options and with options different for every day of the week, a stop at Booty's after work to watch a game, or to take advantage of large sporting events, Booty's welcome you with family dive bar comforts, but with Michelin star personalities. Nobody is perfect so in order to get five stars from me, I would have to visit consistently and unknowingly while awaiting a strong employee member to educate me how to remember their names, because service can struggle if it gets too crowded in there, and I have seen enough of the strong employees who have been working there for some time that have a strong following of regulars who love to visit and keep the atmosphere upbeat. I write this review because my last experience during trivia night was so homely with making new friends, and getting my picture taken with strangers with the winners was a cool experience to feel included in an overcrowded world. While with other Booty locations I cannot speak for and have heard hit or miss experiences, Avondale is keeping the competition on their toes. I thank the bartenders for staying sharp and always actively scanning and checking in, and there is one or two servers I have experienced in the past that I know have a reputation of being a few favorites amongst the public, and continue to work hard there. Music here has always been too loud and today was no exception. The Men's restroom could use a good cleaning and one of three urinals was out of order. We were greeted promptly , seated and our waitress was present in short order. I specifically wanted jalapeno poppers today as most other restaurants in town don't have them. We were informed they were out of them. We opted for the habanero cheese dip, but accompanying tortilla chips were stale. The waitress took them away to get new ones but we suspected they were the same ones, just heated in a microwave with a little black pepper sprinkled on top. Boneless wings with buttery garlic parmesan sauce were excellent but accompanying celery was old and stringy and bleu cheese dipping sauce was thin. For noontime they had one waitress serving half the restaurant but she did manage to keep up. Guy Fieri would term this a dive bar! read more

Stopped in for the wings and fried pickles, and both were outstanding! The wings were perfectly cooked, flavorful, and had just the right amount of crispiness. The fried pickles were hot, crispy, and made the perfect appetizer. A big thank you to our server, Taylor, for the friendly, attentive service and making us feel welcome from start to finish. My mother, sister,and I went here last night for dinner, and it did not disappoint. Our server was outstanding. She went above and beyond to answer our questions with a smile and recommend certain dishes. Food was delicious. Hot, fresh, and very flavorful. This ambiance was laid back and they play country music, while still able to hold a conversation without it being too loud. Plenty of tvs to watch any professional games. Highly recommend this place. They're located in a shopping center, kind-of across from Buffalo Wild Wings. Parking wasn't an issue. We went on a Saturday evening, and they were able to seat us right away. Their prices were reasonable, and they have an extended happy hour! Their decor is fine, with plenty of TVs in the bar and patio areas. Their food was average - the menu looked better than stuff tasted. What really saved this place is their service - Taylor was amazing! She was attentive, and sensitive to the allergy needs in our group. She was pleasant and thoughtful, as she anticipated our needs. The patio clearly says "No Smoking", yet there were three people smoking on the patio right next to the sign. This restaurant's customer service was the most disappointing experience I've ever encountered. I came here with a group of my friends, and it will definitely be the last. One of the friends with our group ordered a makers mark and sprite. He drinks it all the time. Right when he ordered it he was like this tastes bad. It tasted like it was makers and water. He told the server and and she consulted with manager and manager told her they could take it back but would be charge for another one. We asked for general manager and her name was Brandy and she's so rude and said she tasted the sprite and made that drink and the sprite was fine. We told her we all tasted the drink and it was bad. She still was rude about it and told us she was not going to keep taking back drinks (we sent back one), and finally my guy friend with us was just like it's fine take it off I don't want it at all. I never experienced a general manager who would act like that towards paying customers for a drink that did not taste right. What has hospitality come to these days? Came in on a Sunday afternoon - wasn't busy at all. Hostesses didn't seem to want to be there, but our waitress was great! They have specials every day of the week, and happy hour everyday as well so I feel like this place could be a go to spot to watch the game. However, they have some really unique wing flavors which they flaunt that they won wing contests. I ended up getting an Elote burger and Mango Chile Lemon wings. I opted for boneless wings because gd wing in was pretty expensive and Sundays special was cheaper boneless wings. Food was really tasty. The elite burger was really creative and really the thing that made it "elote" was the cheese on the burger and maybe some corn but overall it was really good. I got tater tots which I mean it's hard to mess up tater tots. They seemed frozen and reheated but atleast they reheated them perfectly. Wings were very good for boneless as they were fairly large and the meat quality was definitely noticeable. Mango chile lemon was really good! Let me say I love their wings. Their service is trash. I've gone a few times since being back in AZ and every time I'm here I barely get service. This time ordered a beer and wings. The bar staff dripped my food off and never came back until my beer was completely empty, my wallet out and I had been done eating for like 30 mins. They weren't even busy but it's apparent that their staff has friends come in and that's who they focus on. I'm going to try the other one. Walked in and immediately felt unwelcome. From the way the staff acted to the old man at the bar staring as we walked by to the patio it was uncomfortable. We took our bulldog because Yelp said "dog friendly" which was more like dog tolerant. No one wanted to wait on us on the patio. Once we got the food the fried mushrooms were the highlight. The rest of the food was over cooked and pretty flavorless except for the reaper wings which our teen admitted were too hot. I got some Booty today! Lol Bootys Bleu Burger and some wings. We are personally over Buffalo Wild Wings and we're happy we came across the way. Better service, less of a wait, TVs all work and are clear, prices are fair and the food was better. The Bleu burger was very good I'd definitely recommend it, and the wings are big and crispy...but we all know the sauce is what makes it. We chose the Buffalo Chipotle Garlic and I love it.
