I felt like walking into a bar in Nashville - it was big and had a stage for live music. We went…read moremid afternoon on a Saturday, so no one was playing, but I would definitely go back for some live music! We ordered the Mac n cheese with hot chicken and the steak fingers. Both were okay - the Mac n cheese alone is nothing special, but the hot chicken was great. The steak fingers were not our favorite - would not order those again. We will definitely go back - the service was great and it's a pretty cool spot. I think next time I'm going to try their hot chicken sandwich.

Absolutely unacceptable and honestly shocking behavior from security here…read more My friend went out for what should have been a normal night, and instead was met with completely unprofessional and aggressive treatment. Her ID had a small dent in it -- still clearly valid -- and instead of handling the situation appropriately, the security guard snapped her ID leaving it almost completely in half. Destroyed it. Then turned her away. That is not only disrespectful, it's completely out of line. Security's job is to verify IDs, not damage personal property. There are proper procedures for questionable IDs, and this was NOT one of them. No apology, no attempt to resolve the situation -- just unnecessary force and a complete lack of basic respect. If this is how they treat people at the door, I can't imagine how the rest of the establishment operates. I would strongly recommend going somewhere else where staff know how to handle situations professionally. I'm just curious - is the security guard now going to pay for her new ID?? This is OUTLANDISH behavior coming from a plain old Jane of a security guard. Clearly he didn't make the cut at the police academy...

Recently tried the Green Olive BnG located in the former Ground Control space. My first impression…read morewas how much they classed up the place to what I would describe as affordable fine Mediterranean dining. The dining area is very big with booth and table seating. There is mood lighting that is on the darker side, so they provide a small lamp at each table. Water comes in a glass bottle (probably filtered, not sparkling), so you can refill as you go. Service was great and attentive, even apologizing for their back-up on to-go pizza orders and bringing us out a dish of hummus and pita bread for the wait. When we got the food, it was a generous portion of chicken shawarma with a side Greek salad and a craft pizza. I should be clear, the pizza was good "enough" though not earth-shattering. The ingredients were fresh, and the crust, like the pita, was soft and fluffy. At the end of the day, we really enjoyed our experience and when craving Mediterranean food, will think of Green Olive first, even though I will have to ditch the pizza for the beef gyro plate!

Hubby and I stopped in specifically to eat here--we're not gamblers. There was a 30-minute wait,…read morewhich seemed fair for a busy Saturday night, but the hostess wasn't very personable or helpful about when we'd be seated. After about 25 minutes (we were told 20), I asked for an update. I stood at the front desk for a full minute while staff counted money--no greeting, eye contact, or acknowledgment at all. It was super awkward. When our table was ready, she just pointed to it from across the room, walked us over, dropped the menus, and left without saying a single word. Definitely not the kind of service you expect from someone at the front greeting customers. Thankfully, our server, Maya, was much more pleasant. She greeted us, got our order right, and the food arrived in about 15 minutes. The portions were huge, hot, fresh, and delicious. It was a bit pricey--about $60 after tip for two meals and an iced tea--but that's pretty typical for a casino. Their happy hour menu looks great, and we'd return to try the large selection of appetizers for a lighter meal. We took leftovers home, but next time we'd probably order less.

The bartender handed us menus and walked away. 5 minute later he asked if we were ready to order. I asked if we could order drinks first. He took hubs beer order and I ordered a tall Tito's soda. I've never seen Tito poured from the gun before, but the soda was flat. He poured another. The weakest drink I've ever had and honestly, I'm not sure it was Tito's. It didn't taste right. The bartender also leaned over the bar for the gun, filled someone's water and walked to the other end of the bar. He also yelled at a customer that he found the lid to her togo cup and tossed it on the bar. She had to get up from her table to get it. So unprofessional. Maybe he was new? Lunch was so freaking good. Hubs had Thai Noodles. He's not a fan of too much spice. I warned him. He ended up picking out the Thai chilies and said it was incredible, once he got his taste buds back. I had the most unexpected and phenomenal sandwich. Blackberry jam, barbecued brisket and cheese on the thickets delicious sourdough bread. It's on the menu as grilled cheese. I will order it every time. The onion rings were giant and so crispy! Hopefully we'll have better service the next time. First impressions are very important. This one was bad.

I had the dry Irish stout and it was outstanding. The host thoughtfully asked if I preferred a high top or a low top table before seating my party. Very thoughtful. Our server was Vanessa. I know what it's like to have good people. Vanessa is exceptional. The food was great. We got a couple of burgers. Tasty. I had the onion rings with mine -- a very generous portion and also tasty. Music volume was at a tasteful level. It was present but didn't get in the way of conversations. Much appreciated.

We all got beers. They have rotating craft beers and on this trip, they had a selection of 12. My colleagues got strawberry Bitch and I got the nitro blonde honey ale called Show your Stripes. We ordered the jalapeko Bomber Dip to start - it came with 3 pieces of toasted baguette and chips. This dip is delicious - nicely spiced. Our entrees were delicious as well. One friend got the biria dip- half portion with cheese curds, the other friend got holy yum burger with cheese curds. I got the thai chicken sando with sweet potato waffle fries. Chicken was suitably spiced and tender. Pickled onions were delicious paired with the carrots and sauce. Ooo n the waffle fries- crispy and delicious. It stayed crispy for very long too. Even though we couldnt eat anothet bite. - we challenged ourselves further with donuts lol And boy were we glad we did! Crispy tender lightly dusted with cinnamon and sugar. And cane with hot fudge and vanilla glaze on the side!! And to top it off, the sunset trivia!!! It was fun!! We love this! Unfortunately, since we are from out of town. Id say we will be back when we are in this area. 5 STARS!!!!
