This is a great place for brunch. We had salad, omelette, toast, soup and smoothies/juices/coffee. The vegetarian omelette and salad were the best of all. The coffee was quite bitter. The smoothies were great and so were the detox juices. The service was normal, we had to ask for tissues/paper towels.

The Algarve has a problem, it doesn't have many good coffee shops. However, Bora is somewhat decent. Good food, lovely atmosphere, service is good at times but can get very slow at midday, however coffee is not brilliant - best I found in Lagos though. It is worth the visit. It is situated on two side of a side street, not too busy with passers by, you are undercover so away from the sun. They offer lovely salads, smoothies and juices; made from organic fruit and vegetables. The waitress was so lovely it was her that made us return almost daily, oh and the smoothies. Just avoid the coffee, oh and their house wines.

Delicious spot for lunch! The Special Bora club (you need a fork and knife!) and Mozzarella tapas along with a few beers hit the spot! Great service too!

Really cute cafe and the prices are very reasonable. I was really excited for the juices and fresh food, however, the food was lacking in flavor quite a bit - both the omletter and the toast were pretty bland. I'm only giving 4 stars instead of 3 because of the nice outdoor seating area and the overall atmosphere.

Great place for a dinner. Huge portions and healthy food. The Bora Cafe proposes nice detox juices and delicious smoothies. We ordered salmon salad and omelette and both were just perfect. Amazing atmosphere, design and delicious food makes this place a good choice.

If you're looking for fresh, organic, healthy and excellent food in Lagos, Bora Cafe is the place for you! The juices are delicious, the beet and apple juice with ginger added is my fave! We got soup and salad and both were great and portions huge! One thing to note is the address listed here on Yelp is incorrect, it is actually located right outside the main plaza. Just look for the cutest little cafe with a bunch of wooden chairs and tables with fruit bowls on them! I highly recommend Bora Cafe!!

Great place to spend a few hours. they have a excellent near 100% organic menu with great fruit juices, salads, etc. They also have a free internet hot spot. or you can use there net terminals. great mood music, cool spot. LOVE IT

We had an excellent breakfast. One of our best in Portugal. The omelettes and muesli with fruit were great.

We started with the family lemonade which was so refreshing and had lots of fresh citrus in it. We felt like we were at a family dinner here with how welcoming it was. We got the Sevilla style squid which was ok, the piri piri helped add flavor. The prawns were plump and flavorful in a nice sauce that we used our garlic bread to sop up the flavors. The sea bream was such a nice and light flavor. Crisp on the outside but soft and meaty inside with fries nicely seasoned and cooked. It's off the beaten path a bit on a side street but still central to town.

It was empty so we politely asked if the restaurant was opened and the guy who was sitting on the table (the owner or manager) rudely told us NO NO NO and waved us away. Okay.... just close the doors and update your hours for God's sake. Go learn basic customer service skills. You absolutely need it. Sincerely, A customer all the way from California USA

This was the first place that we ate at in Portimao and I was quite impressed…read more First of all, the inside is spacious and has a lot of seating is available. Service was very prompt and servers were extremely friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and quick to answer all of our questions. They have quite a large selection of drinks and most are reasonably priced. The food was also extremely well-priced considering the excellent quality and large portion sizes offered within the restaurant. I ordered a tomato soup which was pretty good, although it could've used a little bit more seasoning. I was definitely extremely impressed with my veggie burger however! The burger itself was cooked perfectly, packed with veggies and tasted absolutely delicious. It also came with plenty of sides including coleslaw (which was amazing!), salad, and french fries. I absolutely recommend ordering this dish. My friend ordered the piri-piri chicken which she said was absolutely scrumptious (although I didn't taste any due to the fact that I am a pescatarian). We also tried some of their roasted potatoes and all I can say is wow. They definitely know how to serve up a good meal in the restaurant. The only reason that is loses a star is for the lack of outdoor seating, which would've made the experience that much better. But I would most certainly return to this place if I happen to pass through Portimao in the future.
