The staff here are completely incompetent and do not follow through on corrections. Had to constantly call them to find out why my supplies were not shipped. Even though they were told correct insurance information they continued to have the wrong information in their system. The person on the phone said I would need to have Medicare call them! Everyone knows that Medicare doesn't call anyone. Their insurance dept did not bother to correct the error in their system, even though they were called a month earlier that it had been corrected in the Medicare system. I have the same problem in that they have no follow up and you have to constantly call them. When you do call they give you wrong information. If I could give them a 0 star I would. Would give zero stars if it were possible. I've been waiting three weeks to receive my diabetic supplies. My doctor sent the exact prescription over with the precise details. I waited a week to call to give them time to get the insurance approval etc., when I did call back I first checked with my insurance to make sure they approved everything. They did! Borbas said they never received anything. I got Borbas and my insurance on a three-way call to prove yes, they sent over the proper documentation and approval. Borbas says they'll ship my meds. Then, days later, I receive a voicemail (always at EOD so I have no time to call back before they close) from Borbas about not knowing which of my meds they need to ship. Either they are incompetent and can't read the script I SAW my doctor send over that included all the specifications, or they are deliberately wasting my time so they have an excuse for their own delay. I leave a voicemail, never hear back, so call back a third time and give them the specifications, again, for what I need. That was three days ago now. I called today to ask for an update and apparently they have no idea what's going on with my order. This is unacceptable. These are my DIABETIC supplies that I rely on to survive. I cannot emphasize enough the physical and emotional pain that not having my supplies causes, and the stress that this level of incompetence has on me. I was in great need of a rollator walker when my primary care doctor ordered one from Borbas Pharmacy. Michelle was very nice, she went above and beyond for me. She not only got my rollator authorize and processed right away, she had it shipped to me a day later. She also informed me that Borbas could help me to get my diabetic supplies that I needed! And she did; as she stated she called me to inform me all has be handled and my supplies will be on the way. I appreciate this pharmacy for the dedication Michelle put in for her patients! Disgraceful service for a diabetic supply company. They claim they sent a request to Dr. for notes. After a week I had to call doctor to sent notes and they were sent in a minute, Then Borbas was waiting for Insurance Authorization. I looked it up online and it had been approved 2 days prior, I had to call Borbas with Authorization. Then Borbas told me we would received Dexcom sensor by UPS Courier by Saturday. I called the following Monday after not receiving it and they told me it was mailed the Monday I called. They said they were busy. They misinformed me, they don't follow up and obviously don't value their patients health as they have delays from communication errors. Stay away. read more

Every month they forget to deliver my Omnipod system and every time they do this I have to spend a week trying to get the Omnipod system for them, seems like they don't have a proper system in place or know how to properly tend to their customers needs. Ive never encountered a pharmacy where they deny you a early refill, not as in a few weeks early but not early in any means of the word. I would STRONGLY recommend finding another pharmacy that can provide you with your medications with a timely manner and proper service. If I could give this place zero stars I would. read more

0/5 stars* rating from me. My son is 2 years old & Type 1 Diabetic. His endocrinologist put in the order to get the Omnipod & Dexcom. His Omnipod kit was shipped to my house but the Dexcom I guess couldn't be so it was sent to this pharmacy for me to pick it up when ready. She put the order in for the Dexcom late JANUARY. It is now mid APRIL & it has been excuse after excuse with this pharmacy. "We're waiting on approval from your endocrinologist", "we're waiting on approval from your insurance", "we'll send another follow up about the urgency of getting your product to you" yeah... OK. Now my insurance may not be the best but they would've BEEN approved this as I've never had an issue getting prescription approved before. If he really needed this Dexcom in a certain timeframe, it would've been a bigger problem. Thankfully, my availability for the manual items needed (ie: insulin pens, lancets, pen needles, etc...) were extended so I could give him what he needs in the time being. Please believe this & other reviews stating that if you're a diabetic, RUN don't walk from this pharmacy! They don't care enough about their customers at all. I had to pick a star, although they are not even worth having one. They are the worst customer service based pharmacy that you can use. I am a type 1 diabetic and getting supplies from them is like you are asking them to suply you with blood from a stone. I have insurance, and I pay for my supplies, but they make you seem that you are coming off the street and asking for a free handout. They are rude, they lie in every conversation, they hold your medicine hostage until you get to the point where you have not other choice but to accept it, because you are dependent on that supply in order to survive. I completely felt that I have been discriminated against because I have a disability. I cannot continue using their service and I will be telling the supplier as well. STAY AWAY! The Medical Supply part of this Business is NOT disabled friendly! If you survive the rickety open industrial elevator ride, it is downhill from there...Seating is on the far side. DO NOT utilize this pharmacy for your Medical devices, especially if they are a vital part of your daily disease management. In particular for diabetics using Dexcom for continuous glucose readings. Pharmacy drops the ball on getting you refills before your device expires, with no apology, remorse, or care. You will be told you have "3 more weeks left on your device" when you know you saw a message glaring at you that 1 WEEK remains and you call them to inform of them of this. Horrible customer service. Won't return your calls for days. I am waiting for my daughter's Dexcom supplies for more than a month already. Even when they told me that it was shipped (another lie) it wasn't. First of all, can you please hire people who have some experience? Who have some idea of how insurance companies and billing work? Their messaging service recording isn't even grammatically correct... Completely unprofessional. Thank god for this woman Karina who realized they had tried to screwed me over big time by pre shipping hundred of dollars worth of supplies to me without billing my insurance and tried to stick me with a huge bill months later. She thankfully offered me a better price so I could pay it off. Everyone else in that company is completely incapable. This place is not disability friendly at all. It's located up a set of very steep stairs, and the only elevator is manually operated, tiny, and very shaky, jerking around a lot, which can be painful. It's also quite cluttered in the public area and doesn't leave a lot of maneuverability. The people who work there are brusque and not very friendly, making you feel more like a burden than a customer. They also don't listen very well-- often mixing up your request themselves and then getting irritated with you when you correct them. I'm not going back there again. I deserve an accessible store that doesn't treat me poorly. read more
