I recently bought a 1976 MGB that needed some TLC. Not surprising that it's challenging to find…read morelocals who will work on British cars. Freddy was undaunted. While he admitted he'd never replaced an MGB windshield before, he felt that with his experience with other classic cars, he could do it...and he did! He did an outstanding job! He also did some excellent body work to repair some damage to her nose and painted a newly replaced trunk lid. While any body work isn't cheap, I feel he respected my budget and I am very satisfied with the quality of the work.

Please avoid Fred Wilson. I paid him $35,000 to do the body work and paint job for my car. He…read morerequested and I paid $10,000 more. After he was finished with the bodywork and paint job, he sent me a bill for another $27,000. I don't think anybody would believe bodywork and paint job would cost over $70,000. He has refused to return my car until I pay the final amount. I would tell my friends and anybody else to avoid him at all costs. Update - Fred Wilson has refused to release my car for 300 days unless I paid the $27,000. He has dropped that demand, but now says I owe him $45 a day to have stored the car, and will not release the car until I pay the additional $13,500. He also says the car may be considered abandoned, and threatens to put a lien on my vehicle.
