I needed 3 teeth re-done. I was told the out of pocket expenses would be $2800. I explained to them that I needed a quote in writing as I could only pay with a hardship loan through my 401k. I was clear with them that I could put $2100 down per the 401k rules, and then they would release the balance once I signed an affidavit telling them the work was done. I explained this in great detail to several people there and Dr. B was all cool about it then and said that would be fine. I had no reason not to trust him based on past experiences, but in hindsight, I was dumb enough to not get that in writing. So everything else was done and the actual Implants were made and all that needed to happen was for him to pop in my new teeth! (The entire point of it all). BUT, now this unethical outfit (who had previously added onto the bill while I was literally in the chair because, and I kid you not, "Boy was this harder than I thought it was going to be", which I heard as "I'm going to have to turn in more cash into the insurance". I immediately thought this was about as shady as it could get but again, I was in the middle of a procedure). Long story short, it's now been about 15 months and they still have my Pre-Fabricated teeth and I literally can't afford to come out of pocket when an agreement was already in place. So they've holding my FINISHED teeth hostage for the entire time. I've alerted Delta Dental to what I consider fraud and implored them to investigate his practices and his practice in general and am waiting to hear back from them, same with my 401k as I consider my options and try to get them to get the wasted cash back for me due to an unfinished job and a lie told to me up front that made me decide to go with them in the first place. They are as shady as they come in my opinion and the only thing I'd wish they'd do at this point is send me somewhere else to get the job completed that will allow me to pay afterwards per the original 401k stipulations. I would never have the kind of work I had done without holding back a retainer to ensure I was satisfied with the work until after it was completed. It's standard practice at many places so I didn't think I'd get treated badly about this well after the fact and the deal that they signed off on. I'm a broke single father that can't afford these sort of things, and they knew this very well but still pulled their little stunt. Buyer beware here and if you do use them and work something out with them up front GET IT IN WRITING! It's so sad, because I thought I had a dentist I could trust before this total debacle, which is why this wasn't a one star review. Now I'm just hoping this drives away at LEAST $700 worth of business to them. Such an incredibly petty outfit nowadays, nothing like the last time I wrote a review for them.

Dr Chapman is fantastic and has an wonderful staff that all truly care and want to help. They have worked on my wife multiple times and worked out plans with her to make things affordable. We now have coverage through my work and they are making sure they know what coverages we have and what all can be done and doing everything possible to make sure we get all we need done, done with what we have. Planning out an entire care/treatment plan to get us to our best dental health. I loved the text messages I got with confirmation and follow up reminders from the very start. I found that extremely helpful. On my appointment they were running a bit behind but had a few emergencies that were squeezed in before me which I really didn't mind and it actually gave me peace of mind if I were to be having a dental emergency they would squeeze me in. I got a aweosme follow up email and well as a survey which I will be sharing as well in screen shot form. They also sent me an email for using the online patient tools and a reminder of my next appointment. Very nice Such a fantastic experience. Dr Chapman is pleasant and easy going.
