Dr. Doing my fillings drilled me so hard he cut up my gums, made my face numb for 4 days and on top of that my bite was so off I couldn't even bite down on the other side. Was in terrible pain and infected. AWFUL bedside manner, ableist behavior, and they still couldn't fix it. After going back 2 more times. I think the fillings lady needs her eyes checked. I took my daughter to get her teeth cleaned, they did half her mouth & then decided to work on two cavities that were to be worked on at her next appointment. They belittled her about her teeth & anxiety she was having & after telling them she could feel them drilling, they failed to listen & kept on drilling. What a horrible experience. I have been a patient at Nova Dental for several years and have a very complicated dental history. I love coming here-the dental staff are professional, have great bedside manners, and are 100% in providing great dental care. Recently, I had a very old crown that came out and needed replacement. i called and got an appointment right away. Dr. Patel was the dentist and he did a great job. I got my permanent crown today and needed no adjustments. It was the best crown replacement ever! Thank you, Dr. Patel and all of Nova Dental for always taking good care of me. 5 stars is not enough! If you're looking for a Dentist who genuinely cares about your well-being, Nova Dental is the one for you. I've been a patient for a couple years now and decided to look into getting dentures. Due to my heart condition Nova Dental recommended I get the extractions done at the hospital. After doing the extractions the hospital was supposed to fit my temporary dentures but they refused. I contacted Nova Dental at 3:00 on a Monday and explained what happened, they asked me if I could come in right away. Within an hour I had my first fitting done and an appointment for the next day to finish the job. Dr. Wolff, Cassie and the rest of the team turned my bad experience into a smile! read more

I was trying to make an appointment with them over the phone and the receptionist went through the trouble of spending ten minutes taking down all my private information then told someone would get back to me tomorrow. At this point she had given me no information regarding when would be the earliest I could be seen as I am a new patient. I had to ask, and I was told June not a day, but June as someone who needs an extraction for a broken tooth that's not very comforting or professional to hear. as that was the reason I called and mentioned before any information was given you would imagine someone working in this field you would know that an extraction is a problem that cannot wait. read more

First timer. Place was busy with customers but they were super efficient with getting me in and getting all my paperwork filled in. Had a great hygienist who did my X-rays and did all my preliminary work done . Got a cleaning and a fluoride treatment as well. Super nice workers and docs. Good decision to go there . read more

when I arrived I gave them my new insurance, when I was leaving my new insurance didnt match what they said I had. by the time I got home all future appts were cancelled even though I still had more work to be done. Im on state assistance and they are contracted to take my insurance but I was repeated told NO. Go to a different dentist this place is a joke. Rude office staff! read more

I see Dr. Ryan at the Tarentum office. All the staff are super-efficient and friendly. I just got my partial plate there. At first I wasn't sure about the fit, but they ARE comfortable and beautiful. Went here for an appointment on June 30th the appointment was scheduled for 3:30. After taking off work, I get to the office and the appointment was "not scheduled". The women that work in the office stared and me and my daughter like we were crazy telling us the appointment that I made wasn't made. Then informing us that they couldn't get my daughter in. After the appointment that I made was never put in the computer. Will not be going back there and do NOT recommend that you go either. The staff are highly disrespectful and EXTREMELY rude. If I could give this business a zero, I would. First off, Dr. Ryan is an arrogant you know what. I should have sued him for causing physical harm to me, causing me to end up in the hospital and on antibiotics. I get banned from going back for his mistakes... but found out I was banned BY MISTAKE!! They didn't even tell me till I called about my kiddo!!! Secondly, I go today to take my step kids(made the appointment 6 months ago) and now they magically can't let me take them even with the right forms filled out, the proper insurance information provided and then who I'm assuming was the office manager, gets an attitude with me about having their mom call in information when she is DEPLOYED AND CANNOT CALLLLLL. I had three appointments that I had to cancel due to being sick with covid. I then needed to schedule new appointments and they told me I had to call during the mornings to see if there are open appointments for the afternoon. Very rude & unprofessional. I didn't cancel for any old reason. We were sick. Not to mention we were told prior to scheduling the appointments that if we are sick to stay home & not come into the appointment. My 10 year old daughter who was going to have a tooth pulled because her silver cap moler baby tooth was not becoming loose even though her adult one was coming in causing infection issues. Her father and her went to the appointment to have the tooth pulled. The office omitted that the laughing gas didn't work so they have her 2 shots of local anesthetic. The dentist dr wolf came I'm to pull the tooth. Not once dude they ask her if she was numb he just quickly yanked 2 of her teeth out. After the first tooth she was in tears and crying and he immediately proceeded to pull another. When I called the office after my concerns on why this wasn't reschedule when we could do iv sedation like they suggest for future visits the dental assistant stated to me" we can't know how she's feelings and she seemed fine." A ridiculous response. When I told her I am taking her to get her teeth recheck at children's dentistry and if any trauma was caused they would be hearing back from me. She talked over me the entire time cauing me to have to be louder to be heard, she yelled back at me saying I had an attitude she was there an the dentist did nothing wrong. The call ended with her telling me, " I'm busy I have work to do." Then she hung up the phone. I called back to talk specifically to the dentist l, they claimed him to be busy with other patients and they would give him the message. While waiting for his call. I did recieve a call from nova dental. I repeatedly said hello so the 14 second connected call where no one responded. I then immediately called and told them I recieved a call with no one answering. The secretary them told me he asked around the office and no one called me. I am far beyond pissed at the unprofessional actions of this office and did file a report with the BBB. I went to Nova needing A LOT of dental work. It was a long process but Dr. Ryan Wolff and his awesome assistant made each visit as pleasant as possible. I had numerous extractions and root canals and can honestly say, there was very little pain or discomfort because of his excellent dental care. read more

I give 1 star for this dentist Dr. Wolff he wasn't willing to help me save my teeth. He wanted to pull them all I'm only 30 years old. I also paid thousands of dollars for 6 crowns on my upper teeth that I'm not going to get rid of to get dentures all ready. I believe they only wanted to pull them because I'm on state medical insurance and most places do not treat us with respect. Just because I need assistance doesn't mean I deserve to lose all my teeth. read more

If you are a "paying customer", not on welfare or you do not have dental insurance, STAY AWAY!!!!! I've been going here for years and they have turned into a money making business! Last year I went over concerns of my teeth pain and was promptly told that I need a deep cleaning ($600) and teeth cleaning. When I asked what the x-rays showed and how he knew that, he stated that it is not through x-rays but a dentist just knows. I never followed through with cleaning because of medical problems. I made an appointment because my bonding feel off from years ago and I needed new ones. The dentist came in, looked at my chart and then my teeth and first exclaimed how bad my gums are receding and how I will lose them. I needed a cleaning! He then stated that I needed FULL x-rays done along with the cleaning done first before he could even do the bonding. I questioned because I had x-rays done in August. He ignorantly responded that it was not a full x-ray and that a full x-ray and cleaning needs to be done BEFORE he will treat anything else. If I refused his suggestions he would not treat my broken teeth. I responded that I would go elsewhere for treatment. Guess that if you do not agree to do the procedures that they want you to do or that you cannot afford, you will not get treatment for what is needed. read more
