There is no better donut that I have tried. I love Bosa's. The staff has always been friendly and have even gone out of their way to make a donut if it wasn't available. This location moved a little further south on Arizona Ave. Look for the old KFC (the bucket marquee is a dead giveaway, lol) The donuts are always on point. 5 stars for the donuts! However, we've been going here for years and we also usually get smoothies with Boba along with our donuts. The smoothies are a hit or miss, which is the reason for the 3 stars. Sometimes there's still chunks of ice, or they don't put enough ice, so it watery. This last visit over the weekend was the first time, we had under-cooked Boba in our smoothies. So disappointing since we're paying $4 per 16 oz. cup. With all the other Bosa Donuts popping up, I doubt we'll go back to this one, unless it's just for donuts. read more

Rude Mexican girl at drive through. Unbelievable! Talked down to me, insulted me and refused to take my money. I went. Key word here is went there every morning for a breakfast sandwich and coffee. They are never terribly busy but I like to support neighborhood business. When I arrived at the drive through the girl (who I have never seen before) opened the window and then immediately slammed it shut. She then started pointing at me yelling "where's your mask?" Since moving out to AZ last year from Southern California (don't say Cali, that's in Colombia) I haven't been able to find a donut shop unless you want to call Basha's a donut shop. While driving down Arizona Ave one morning, the familiar smell of sugary goodness wafted into the open window of my car. DONUTS! Pulled a U-turn and wept with joy. All the familiar offerings were there. The apple fritters and cinnamon rolls the size of man hole covers, chocolate long johns, even the plain raised cake. I ordred an apple fritter and a raised cake. Absolutely, positively heaven in a little, white greasy bag! Go early because they only make so many of the bigger apple fritters and cinnamon rolls. Now enters Bo Sa donuts, my boyfriend and I stumbled on Bo Sa one Sunday morning after a long night of drinking. We stopped for our usual Filiberto's breakfast burrito and suddenly noticed the Bo Sa Donut Shop haunting us from the next street over. We stopped in to check the place out and we were completely surprised. It was small, quaint and reeked of donut glory. It also had the perfect mix of family, joy and happiness. I'm not a donut person. I initially tried Bosa for the coffee. As an avid coffee drinker, I enjoyed their mocha smoothie! Not too sweet, but strong enough coffee to help you get through your day. Now I've tried their donut selections and they are all yummy. Great customer service and always welcoming when I order. I love to write reviews about great experiences at places I visit. If I dont like any of the places, I simply dont return. But today I witness the most unsanitary act ever, especially insight of a pandemic the world is currently trying recover from! What I watched would not be acceptable in 2017 pre-pandemic. I walked into the donut shop today 4/3/21 @approx 5:18pm. There was a young lady in the lobby sweeping with a blue shirt on. The young lady in the back with a red shirt on was busy prepping a pick up order, she said. When the young lady sweeping saw a line forming she quickly put the broom down, but without washing her hands she picked up a previously used glove sitting on the half empty glaze donut tray and wiggled her dirty hands back into the glove. It was probably the nastiest thing anyone would want to see. She asked me with a huge smile, how she could help me? With UTTER disgust she could not witness under my mask, I walked out! We really trust that employees at restaurants follow the CDC and state sanitation guidelines to protect our food against becoming contaminated and prevent us all from becoming sick. The sad part for me is.. I have over 200 pts at this location, which meant I have brought quite a few Donuts from this place. Unfortunately I'm abandoning those points will no longer visit this business. I really hope that the owners have the opportunity to read this review as well as everyone else. This young lady was way to comfortable in her movements from using the broom to using a previously used glove. I went to Bosa yesterday and to be honest, I am pretty dam torn. I believe I do like Krispy Kremes yeast doughnuts better though. Bosa's yeast doughnuts although fluffier and larger, are simply not as light and airy as Krispy Kremes yeast doughnuts. I feel like I can eat a ton of doughnuts at Krispy Kreme since they are so light. Bosa's were not bad though and reminded me of Dunkin Doughnuts. Its really just personal preference. However, Bosa does have absolutely amazing, moist cake doughtnuts. I tried the chocolate coconut one and was amazed at how good it was considering cake doughnuts usually are dry and not that great. I found this place after one of those midnight cravings. I googled late night donuts and Bosa came up as being open 24 hours. I was so surprised a 24 hour donut shop existed. I was not going to complain. I made the 5 mile drive and was extremely pleased with what I received. I LOVE maple bars and that is exactly what I got, along with an old fashion devil foods cake chocolate cake donut. Yum, Yum, Yum =) I couldn't be happier. I've come here many times after that late night excursion and introduced a number of friends. None have been disappointed. Not one hello, good morning, thank you, or smile the entire time from this rude girl. At 930 am, it was not rush hour by any stretch. Two tables of people were eating, no lines at all. I say , "Good Morning" and she stares at me. I ask for the order (2 dozen mixed) and she glares at me when I let her know that they are for work, so no specifics, just mixed would be fine. No words exchanged the entire time until the total is revealed ($21 for 2 dozen and 2 apple fritters on the side). I say, "Thank you", she says, "Whatever". I walked out, Not going back again. Apple fritter was good. Nothing great. Didn't have any of the other donuts. Co-workers said they were okay, not bad, but not great, but not worth the attitude. How can anyone rate this 2 stars let alone 5? Walked in and the place was oozing with garbage! Look over the counter and there is dirt and grime everywhere. Lady had no clue how to do math helping us. I had a buy one get one free coupon for smoothies and she couldn't figure out how to deduct one smoothie and tried overcharging me 3 times before I had to tell her the total. Usually you're only options for a donut are a national chain donut shop (where they don't even make them on-site anymore) or a grocery store (where the donuts are usually dry and uninspired). So to go along with the crowd, I decide to go to Bosa donuts this morning an give them a try. For starters, the drive-thru is very convenient and I didn't even know it existed. Secondly, I have to agree with previous reviews, these have to be the best donuts I have ever tried anywhere. They are HUGE and easily a meal in one. If you put dunkin and Krispy creme together, they still couldn't pull this off. When the box states "Best donuts in AZ" I can believe it. Unfortunately I also have to agree with the fact that staff is rather unfriendly. That in and of itself loses 2 stars, and it's a good thing that the donuts are tasty or else I wouldn't consider coming back. I guess I don't get it. This place has cheap donuts with mildly unpleasant service that you could get anywhere. The donuts are pretty good, but nothing that would warrant the 5 star reviews on here. I only gave this place a chance because of the good reviews on Yelp. Ultimately, Dunkin Donuts is closer to my house. The bakery section at Fry's is closer to my house too.
