My husband would rate Boscoe's Place a 5 I rate it a 4. It's an attractive establishment. Kinda bar- kinda bistro. Very clean and service was friendly. Hubs said the pizza was phenomenal! He ordered the 8" Bosco's supreme original crust. The pizza has a sprinkle of a parmesan / garlic seasoning he described as amazing. Crust was thin buttery crisp but not a cracker. I had the Avocado salad with grilled chicken. Without asking I ordered the large and it was HUGE. Roasted tomatoes that could have been bruschetta topping, green onion and cheese were layered in tbe greens. The chicken was lightly breaded. My fault again for not asking. I would have preferred non breaded. It was good, that's just my personal preference. I would describe the salad as fluffy. I substituted all Romain for the hydroponic green leaf and their crunchy power mix because I have a medical reaction to the Vitamin K found in most lettuce varieties. It was a lot of food but I finished it. The ranch was very garlicky. The Restaurant was loud with chatter and the sound of chairs scraping across the cement floors. I was able to see a total of 2 TV's behind the bar. We sat at a 6 top table. The tables resembled cafeteria tables with a wooden veneer. Perfectly acceptable. But the chairs were hard and uncomfortable. There is plenty of street parking and a public parking lot on the corner. read more

Nasty pizza.... What more can I say? Nice atmosphere means nothing when the food is lousy.

One dinner came out the bread was burn black. Wasn't able to be eaten, we'll take it off the bill. Not the way to handle that, you take the plate back the kitchen and do it over right. Hamburger are precooked reheat well done. read more

Fantastic home town bar/restaurant with an excellent staff, service, and food. If you love Bourbon, try the Smoky Old Fashioned, nice presentation and taste. Cheese sticks come in the size of a pizza with 2 dipping sauces. Pretzel charcuterie board and pizzas made to order are great! A nice country drive up 48 is well worth the visit in Covington or drive in from Troy. Will definitely repeat over and over. read more

Been here before a couple times food was okay but tonight we went to dinner and were told no seats available to have a seat at the bar, we didn't want to sit at the bar we would have happily waited for a table but the teenager at the hostess station didn't even offer it to us, just told we could eat at the bar. So we just left. and to be honest there are too many places to eat in the area so we won't be back. Hire better hostesses! read more

Friendly waitstaff and very attentive. It is noisy in there and hard to hear. I had the "smash burger" and it definitely wasn't a true smash burger. I suspected it was really a frozen burger as it was completely uniform and no crispy thin edges that come with a real smash burger. It was slight undercooked and cold, while outside was charged. Which led to believe burgers are really frozen. Fries were good though! read more

We were in a tough spot - we'd reserved another restaurant for over 40 family members and friends for a dinner after my father-in-law's memorial service. That restaurant unexpectedly closed for maintenance, so we had to find another place without notice. Boscoe's Place welcomed us with open arms and seated us quickly in a comfortable and attractive room. Their service was friendly and attentive, and the food was great! I cannot adequately express how much we all appreciated their willingness to accommodate us on such short notice, and to do it so well. read more

My husband and I stopped for dinner our second time.. pizza and wings were incredible. We ordered a couple appetizers..boscoe bombs and cheese sticks.they arrived lightly warmed, not hot. My husband ordered chicken wings and I had a chicken, bacon ranch pizza added pickle..it was awesome. Our server was Taylor. She was great! We will come again but please make sure your precooked appetizers are hot when served to your guests. read more

I continue to have issues with the carryout process. sent FB messages directly to them asking for help and no reply. You are told it's 15 minutes and it's 50, the text doesn't come through for your order to be ready, etc. eating in is fine, carryout at your own risk! read more

Tried two different pizza's last night and was very happy with both of them. We will definitely be taking the drive again & again to try some of the others, next up is the Ruben pizza. They also make it easy for carry out with its own entrance & window. read more

My wife and I ate here last fall and the food was good. We decide to go back last evening at 7 PM. We were promptly taken to a table that the hostess bussed. We were handed menus then we were ignored for 24 minutes. We decided that they did not need our business and we left. read more

Good atmosphere, other diners seemed to be enjoying themselves, staff was friendly. Menu is mostly burgers, sandwiches, and pizza. Had the classic 'smash' burger, very good and didn't have to wait long at all. The side of spiral potatoes was fine, though could use a little seasoning. Appetizers looked interesting, though surprised to see the only quesadilla mentioned was on the kids' section. Want to try the BYO pizza next time. We stopped in for dinner with the family on a busy Friday night. The hostess greeted us right away. Our waitress was tentative and the owners were very welcoming and kind. Stopped here for our second place to get drinks and appetizer for our early 40th birthday celebration. The greeting staff did not have it together. Once we finally got seated it took 25 minutes to get a server. What really set us off was the waitresses kept walking by our table and smiling at us while we still had our menus on our table. Everyone around us had food and drinks on the tables. Also a small group that was seated after us got their drinks fast. Loved the inside and spaciousness. The menu had a lot of delicious sounding options. The kids meals were good sized. Husbands Reuben pizza was very good. I got the Kale Caesar salad but it did not have any kale like the description- seemed like just a salad mix dumped into a bowl for $14. I LOVE boscoes food it is always hot and fresh with wonderful flavors, I wish it was local to Piqua but it's worth the drive to Covington though. Went for dinner on a Saturday night and it was packed, wait times 30-60 minutes. We liked the atmosphere and the facilities. We had the Dadbod and Reuben pizzas. The Dadbob was amazing with that bourbon sauce. The Reuben was also very good on its own. The service was not great; pretty slow all around and our appetizer came well after our pizzas. Food alone was worthy of a five stars but slow service downgraded the rating. read more
