And will also go to the car behind you in the drive thru and fulfill their order first just because its their friend, as that friend drives out and mean mugs everyone else still in line. Absolute joke will not be back to either establishment considering theyre owned together. Love spending money on ice cream damn shame you suck.

K&J's have a very courteous and friendly young crew working for them. (Unfortunately, not common in this area; thus, bonus!) The shoppe is also clean, bright, and inviting. Kiddos will enjoy seeing Annabelle, the store's mascot, in addition to use of the color-changing spoons. K&J's have a plethora of homemade hand-dipped flavors, in addition to shakes and soft serve offerings. Flavors are frequently changed up with new additions. Small spoon samples are happily provided as are (reasonably priced!) doggy cups (although pups need to enjoy theirs outdoors). Speaking of outdoors, several bright picnic tables have recently been installed for all. There is also a drive-thru for those in need of their ice cream fix, yet perhaps in their jammies.

There was a large assortment of flavors of hand dipped ice cream as well as soft serve. The ice creams aren't made in house but they have them shipped in from Wisconsin and they are very creamy and tasty. The prices were extremely reasonable and the portions were generous. The customer service was top notch. If you are in the area give this ice cream a try and you'll be happy you did. Definitely will be returning soon and telling friends and family to get out, support local and enjoy some indulgent treats.

The place was busy but not crowded, the ice cream is always the shining star here. The hot honeycomb flavor is one that is unique to me. This one had a great rating and we can see how it got one. It's a little bit out of the way but it's in a beautiful setting along the Miami River corridor. And the pizza is great. It takes 3 things to make a good pizza. The balance of the crust, the dough, the sauce, and the cheese. Everything else just adds to these 3 elements. This place does this well. They were fast, clean, and friendly. The right amount of toppings so you could taste each item without drowning out the other flavors of the pie. Just fabulous! Our boys' ice cream was accidentally made without the Oreos, and while mistakes happen, what impressed us most was how Tiffany handled it. She was walking around checking on guests, asked how everything was, and immediately made it right with a smile and a genuinely positive attitude. She also mentioned how hard the team works to keep the restaurant clean, especially the restrooms, and I have to agree the bathrooms were spotless and very well maintained. Tiffany was incredibly kind, friendly, and professional. It's employees like her who make people want to come back. Great food, excellent service, and a clean restaurant. Tonight, as is often the case, the side salad was in the bag on top of the hot food. If it had stayed there for the twenty minute ride home, it would have been well and truly wilted. I removed it but it was late, and dark, and I didn't see that the salad was also not fresh: some of the lettuce had black slimy bits. The raspberry topping was missing from the order. When I went inside the store to get the raspberry topping, the kid who was helping me tried to give me a packet of raspberry salad dressing. At least when I did get the actual topping there was a solid lid on the container rather than the dome lid with the large hole on top that seems to be Culver's default when it is ordered to-go (this makes NO sense to me when you're filling to-go orders: people need to get their food home without spilling it. Those dome lids are the next best thing to handing customers cups of topping without any lid at all). Just a little common sense and attention to detail would make me a happy customer. Sad to say, at the Troy Culver's I can't remember the last time all the items ordered were in the bag, or that there wasn't something wrong with the food itself. This all really makes me think I'd rather skip Culver's and just go somewhere else.
