This Bosco is one of my few stops in the mall. It is full of all things games, comics, and nerdy pop culture from t-shirts to miniatures. It's so fun to just dream about owning everything on the shelves. The staff are themselves nerds with personal experience with the tabletop games, rpgs, comics, and video games. Usually this is our go to for my finances minis but after today we're never shopping here again. while looking at the inventory and glue the worker in the minis room was extremely rude and treated my fiancé like he was going to steal something. This isn't a bad place. It just isn't really a COMIC book store as they only really have trade paperbacks. Additionally, their trade paperback selection is limited. They have some cool novelty items, and lots of games, but if you are interested in the subscription service and getting the traditional comics, go to their Spenard location. This Bosco's location is COMPLETELY different than the Spenard location. The Dimond Mall location has tons of cool toys and gifts for the geek in your life. They have a lot of great collectible toys. It's a little spendy; you can definitely get this stuff on line cheaper. But it's nice to support a local business and hello instant gratification! Fun stuff. So I just walked into this store with my nephew to possibly buy some items. My nephew touched a Pokémon card dispenser like any child would do. Out of of blue I hear this rude voice saying " don't touch the machine without putting quarters into it. It breaks the machine!" I'm sorry but maybe your employee should spend some money on a class on customer service etiquette instead of her crappy pink hair with the shaved sides. Next time, have a little patience even if you hate your job. read more

This is one of the last original stores at the Dimond Center from the 80's still going strong today. The childhood memories of this place are plenty. As a kid, this place got me hooked on collecting Garbage Pail Kids trading cards and Marvel Comics back in the late 80's. Today, I usually come in to browse for TV shows on DVD and like the Spenard location, there are some good deals on complete seasons for $10.00. I scored a great find on the second season of Orange is the New Black for only $9.99. All the DVDs that I've purchased at Bosco's are always in pristine condition and I've never had an issue with scratches or playability. I also like to look out for posters or collectors items for popular TV shows like Game of Thrones, the Walking Dead, Dexter, or Sons of Anarchy. Some of the cool novelty items I bought here was a Game of Thrones beer stein with the Stark logo and the phrase "Winter is coming." along the side, and a huge landscape poster of the Walking Dead with Rick and Darryl running through a deserted town on the lookout for walkers (zombies. although they never use this term in the show). This is a great place to bring your kids and get them started on a hobby or meet others who have the same interests in TV shows or games. read more

I frickin love this place! Geek heaven. And I know of what I speak. Tons of game stuff, comic books, manga, action figures, swords, all kinds of cool shit. The staff is awesome, super knowledgable and friendly. For a small-ish space, this place has it all. A great south side nerd Mecca. read more

This was an enjoyable comic book store, they have manga, single issues, trades, board games, miniatures with everything you need there, Magic cards... the whole works. Everything was clean and organized, I liked their single issue displays which they had on tables instead of in the wall holders. read more

For a nerd store it is unusually clean and organized and the staff are fun to debate with or just have a general conversation.

Boscos has always been a good place to get all sorts of merchandise. Even if they don't have something in stock, they tend to be able to get it for you. Great local business with a very competent current line up of employees who know their merchandise. read more

Not a bad place,selection was really minimal compared to A No.1 Comics,as well as other comic places I've visited. The clerk at the desk acted like He didn't want to be there and when I asked a question He shrugged it off... Not the best comic shop in the world,but not great either. read more
