I had a slab of concrete poured and told Matt what I wanted. All was going along fine until I came home to see a gray shed that matched my home with a BROWN ROOF that clearly didn't match the charcoal colored roof on my house. I gave Matt an extra $300 to tear off the wrong color shingles and reroof the shed. I paid Matt when the rest of the agreed upon amount, The next night we had a storm that blew the door off the shed. He made the doors out of OSB so i knew it was going to be warped from the rain. Matt didn't return for three weeks. By the time he came to repair door it was warped. Matt screwed it back on and left. He was supposed to put a pin in one of the two shed doors to keep if from blowing open. That was two years ago. Call after call went unanswered and unreturned. To sum up my experience with Matt Zomerlei, I will never recommend him to anyone. He talks a good story but he don't honor his word, he doesn't come back to fix problems he created and he doesn't honor his warranty. Matt Zomerlei is in this business for Matt. Once he gets paid you won't see him again. I strongly recommend not using Macatawa Homes LLC or Matt Zomerlei. Uf
