The drinks and beer prices are incredibly affordable. It's got a decently spacious interior with a nice sized outdoor patio. They host the matches in the parking lot and they take place every three months. If you're going for a match, best to use a car service or find somewhere in the neighborhood to park. Moreover, the fellow patrons, bartender, and manager were the coolest people around. Everyone was so nice! I couldn't believe it. We were treated like friends, like family, even. We were greeted at the door by security who checked me (husband) for weapons and contraband. Doing his job . We went in and found the hair who showed us your table ( wasn't too busy at 9 pm) . The show started at 830 promptly so we missed some. The performance was top notch as the band sounded great and the singer has great vocals. He sang a variety of songs from John Legend, Marvin Gay, and other classics. Did them all justice . We got some chicken from the food truck outside and it was pretty dang good . Not too expensive but not cheap either. We ordered drinks from the bar (great pours). I ordered a whiskey and rocks and she had vodka and cranberry. They were serving in plastic cups but gave me glass for some reason and I had to leave my ID to keep the glass. Guess people steel glasses. We enjoyed the show that lasted till 11 or so and then a DJ ramped up to finish the night. That's when a different crowd started entering and the building got quite a bit busier. We hid around until 12 and then headed out. My wife and I were dressed for a grown night out as that is what the flier says. However, I could have worn jeans and tennis shoes as that's how most were dressed. We had a great experience and will come back again.

Cushy seats at the bar was my favorite spot to hang out while we had some cold beers and a shot to go alongside it too. They have beer and shot combos here around $8. You get plenty of choices on beer and liquor of choice. I opted for a tallboy Lonestar and a small shot of the Mexican Candy. My sister got a Live Oak Hefe in a can (she likes Blue Moon so this was the closest thing to it and she liked it!) and later a Shiner in a bottle. I also decided to close out with a daiquiri that was super delicious and offered in nice glassware. Patio out in the back is spacious and a great spot to hang out with a group of friends. The back space is taken care of and has a modern look to it out there. I can see it being a nice vibe outside on a pretty day too. Jukebox is legit! All great music selections from all genres on CDs and pretty cheap too to play 5-8 songs. The artwork around here is worth a look around too. I love all the unique Garfield toys surrounding the bar area too. All of the back bar is so great with the wooden shelving and lighting too. You can see many honorable nods to those who currently or have served. It's a great thing to see especially so close to Sam Houston. One thing I have a pet peeve on is any service bar who has to keep my card on file. I am the worst person who won't remember so I have to be extra careful when bars keep my card. I usually walk and don't mind paying the 20+% tab walk fee but I do want my card back so I have to get everyone who is with me to remind me to go get it. That's why I am giving it 4 stars. I am looking forward to coming back in the future and bringing some more family and friends, though. This spot is so nostalgic and their social is super active and will promote DJs and sets happening that week and into the weekend. Go check them out and play some pool. Just outside of downtown and only a few blocks from Pearl. Love the crescent booths! Great jukebox! Whole vibe is cool and chill. Great place to meet friends, and hang out. We chatted with co-owner Nathan and had an enjoyable evening. They just open a couple of months ago... We will definitely be back!
