Went here to watch NFL games on Sunday. Awesome spot in SA with great outdoor atmosphere and patio. Didn't try the food truck but the drinks were great! Would def visit again. Service was adequate.

So we were down the block doing some shopping. My husband and I passed this place and there was a couple sitting outside enjoying a nice beer on draft. I felt a bit parched so I asked my husband if he wanted to stop in. Sure he said, didn't take much convincing. We walked up to the bar and ordered some Michelob ultras on draft. We grabbed our drinks and sat outside on the sofa seating area. The staff were super friendly. The place has various tvs with different sports playing on each. There are a few games and even a swing set. I wouldn't personally sit on that since I tend to be clumsy as I drink. lol It was a beautiful day outside and the environment to this place is spot on. The view of downtown is nice. They do serve food and after reading their menu it seems like we need to bring our boys here. This is a nice place to sit back relax, enjoy a nice refreshing drink, maybe some food and enjoy the company you're with. The prices are reasonable but on the higher end. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice chill hangout spot. Will be back and invite people to enjoy with us.

Stopping by after work to meet some coworkers for happy hour, I was finally about to check out McIntyre's South town and I'm glad I did. I like the location and the fact it is a little bit more intimate than the northside location. While sitting at the bar, I got to meet the bar manager, Charlie, who was very friendly and gave me a rundown of the drink menu and food truck dining options. Make sure me my friends were looked after. The inside of the bar has plenty of tv's to watch sports while the outside patio has area to spread out and relax. Charlie mentioned they have rotating food trucks and the food is good regardless of the truck. They made a solid Old Fashioned and our bartender was never far away. I didn't try the food truck this time around but will give them a try the next time I come through. I enjoyed my first visit and will be here more often especially during football season.

This is a really great place to catch a game with friends, grab lunch, or simply hang out. A laid back vibe and convenient location along with the friendly staff made my visit memorable.

This place is Beautiful. It is Dog friendly as well. The bar has so many selections from liquor to wine. They also have a food truck for those cravings and snacking. The servers were on point and made sure that we were taken care of. I'm also a first timer to this establishment, but I definitely will come back and enjoy the atmosphere

The first time my husband and I tried @garciabarbecue was when they were at a Northside food truck park and it was good. Jonathan reached out last week to invite us to come out. Now they're located @mcintyressouthtown from Sundays through Tuesdays and every other Saturday. @mcintyressouthtown is a Houston-based concept which is 21 and up sports bar with many TVs to enjoy games with both indoor and outdoor seating. @garciabarbecue is a Veteran-owned business. Jonathan served in the United States Marines Corps and is a USAA member. Thank you for your service!  Dad and I shared the Chopped Brisket Sliders. My husband had the El Mero Mero sandwich. The picture doesn't do it justice because the sandwich is huge! The Smoked Queso Nachos is the bomb! We had chopped brisket and sour cream. Dad couldn't stop eating it. You need to check it out! The drinks @mcintyressouthtown are strong. I had the Lovey Dovey and Hot Eff the Press. My husband had the Hot Eff the Press and Moscow Mule. Dad had cranberry juice. Arion was the bartender who took good care of us. Great experience so come check it out!

Excellent place for a cold beer and some trivia on Wednesdays! Urban bricks pizza outside has great food too.

All different sports games are always on. Great to watch any games as they do not have blasting music and you are able to enjoy conversation with your friends. Additionally, you are able to support local business as they usually have different food truck there.

Don't ask what drink this is nor what round! It's just cheer after cheer!

Had a BLAST! We torn it up with drink after drink. Service and drinks were great. Prices not to bad. We just happened to go on trivia night and ended up making a team, "PEANUTS" all the way, LOL. Had so much fun with the host and other teams. It was all in fun! No in house kitchen but; Urban brick pizza truck in back. Pizza and wings were FANTASTIC. Urban brick pizza truck has amazing pizzas and wings.

It was my first time at Mcintyre's and I was so excited for our visit. Our visit was on a weekday during the NBA playoffs and it was a bit busy for a Monday. We went straight to the bar to order a few drinks but with only two bartenders it took a very long time to get seeing and to even order a drink. They don't have any waitstaff for the inside or outside guest. Finally when we got our drinks we ventured outside and enjoyed the cool breeze and the game. They had a few food truck if your in the mood for eats while your there. I'll try to come back soon and give the bar staff another chance.

This is our 2nd time visiting because we thoroughly enjoyed our visit last time! My watermelon cocktail, It's Always Sunny in San Antonio, is what I got last time and it was so refreshing on a hot day! My husband got a Dripping Springs Vodka and club soda; a bit of a weak pour, he couldn't taste (or feel ) any vodka, so they could improve on that aspect. Otherwise, it's a fun and lively place to hang out!

Great food great customer service... Awesome ambiance!!! Will definately be back ! Wings and pizza were bomb!!

I'm visiting from out of town and I wasn't sure where to go to watch a boxing match. Thank goodness I came across Bar three twenty one! Plenty of seating and lucky for me it was not a busy night. Plenty of TV's including a huge (maybe 75 inch) in the middle. Not a bad seat in the entire bar. They have a full bar, my drunk was just ok, BUT I probably should have stuck with something more basic (I had a Henny sour). Definitely a good spot with a few arcades and a pool table. Check it out!

Update to first review below, rating updated from a 3 to a 5 star (drinks & bartender would get 10+…read morestars if we could rate that high): Saturday night: Went back for after dinner drinks at the Downstairs (a "speakeasy" throwback, look up the history of the place to see why). Drinks were AMAZING! Bartender Rob made the best Negroni I've ever had. I asked him to use whatever gin he thought best--result was an artistic smooooooth full-bodied drink. Told him when I was done I'd lick the glass if it wasn't considered so uncouth for a 'mature' lady like myself to do so Hubby's Buffalo Trace bourbon old fashioned was also outstanding. Rob was the bartender last night who did such a great job, and his work was even better tonight. We highly recommend The EsquireTavern for excellent cocktails. We love the long wood bar and high copper ceiling upstairs, but love the intimate speakeasy atmosphere downstairs even more. We'll definitely be back every time we're in San Antonio! First review, Friday night: Drinks were great (Manhattan and Bourbon Old Fashioned). REAL drinks, no complaints at all about those. And the bartenders were very friendly and helpful. Those aspects of the Esquire get 5+ stars from us. But the appetizers were not good, close to inedible. It was about 8:30pm or so, so maybe they were getting ready to close out the kitchen but the chalupitas with chicken tasted like rubber, and no flavor at all. The seafood platter had something in it that was breading with shell inside, but no meat of any kind. We couldn't figure out what it was supposed to be. The shrimp was good and the fish was good but those other things... We'll always love the drinks, the long wooden bar, and the ambiance at the Esquire Tavern, but we'll eat somewhere else and come here for before or after dinner drinks. (See update above to this review for when we returned the next night for after dinner drinks.)

It was really good--juicy, flavorful, and definitely worth ordering. The only downside was that it took about 30 minutes for our food to arrive, and we were seated right next to the bar during a Spurs game. Let's just say my wife and I learned to communicate through lip reading and interpretive gestures because we couldn't hear each other over the crowd! Our second visit was for lunch, and my wife and I split a sandwich, which was also very good. What really stood out this time was our server. She was outstanding--friendly, attentive, cheerful, and on top of everything we needed. Great service always makes a meal even better, and she absolutely delivered. Overall, we had a good experience both times. The food was solid, the service on our second visit was excellent, and we'd definitely come back. Just one suggestion: if it's game day and you're hoping for a quiet conversation, ask to sit away from the bar...unless, of course, you enjoy shouting sweet nothings across the table!

My first and LAST experience at McFly's left a lot to be desired. There was very little seating available during the NBA finals, which I guess is to be expected, but when I did find seating, a very rude Mexican girl slid onto the seat next to me and attempted to make more rooms for her friends to sit down. When my friend came in, we decided to move to another table to avoid any issues. Shortly after this, a Mexican male came over and purposely blocked our view of the game, and when my friend POLITELY asked if he could move over some, she was told that it was her problem that she couldn't see the television. RUDE, MUCH? Then, another male came over and inserted himself into the discussion. A 'security guard' came over and attempted to 'quiet' things, but he was clearly taking the male's side on this issue. The 'security guard' proceeded to tell me that he was told that the Black female was the aggressor. WOWWW!!! WHY do Black people have to be the aggressors in situations??? These two Mexican males were clearly with the group from earlier, and decided to disrupt the time we were trying to spend watching the game. This is one of the WORST establishments I've ever experienced, EVER. If you're a Black person living in or visiting San Antonio, stay FAR away from McFly's!!! Save your money and find another establishment to go to! One that doesn't make Black people feel unwelcomed!
