I have no worries. I grab my coffee creamers from the lobby, bring them up to my room for the morning. I have everything I need for a peaceful restful night and easy morning. I get that here. The staff are always nice. Isaiah answered my phone call and helped me a very nice room at a reasonable price. Thank you Isaiah I've never gone in and had the breakfast in the morning but tomorrow I will. I will take pictures. It is beautiful.

This is coming from a lady who…read moredoes not like staying in hotels, but has stayed in many hotels and is very picky about them. Ayres Hotel Vista Carlsbad exceeded all of my expectations, and it was a pleasure to stay here. We got a double queen room, and the beds were very comfortable. The room itself is your standard mid-range hotel room, but everything was clean, the shower water pressure was decent, there were plenty of device charging plugs, there's a mini fridge in the cabinet, and the bathroom sink is separate from the toilet and shower area. I don't particularly like this restroom setup, but what are you gonna do? The free breakfast is great. They have a made-to-order omelette station, with an actual person behind a counter taking orders and making your food. They also have a self-serve waffle-making station, oatmeal cups, yogurt, cereal, and a mango-infused water (fancy!). The only thing is that the coffee they offered in the dining room was trash. What you want to do is go visit the Keurig coffee maker by the front desk, which is available to guests all day. Make yourself a cup of coffee from there, and thank me later. There is indoor seating, but do yourself a favor and go out to the patio and enjoy your breakfast outdoors in the perfect Carlsbad morning air. The fitness center is open 24 hours a day, which is a relief and as it should be. There is also a laundry room, with super fast washers and dryers. Ayres Hotel is set up in the hills a bit, so there isn't anything nearby to walk to. But if you're in a pinch and need something for dinner, they make wood-fired pizzas in-house and have happy hour specials.

We stayed for a wedding in San Marcos and had a much better stay than our friends that stayed elsewhere. They even came to visit last morning with us. You can book online, but I went through Amex Platinum this time. Check-in is at 4 PM and check-out at 11 AM, but they're very flexible. If you arrive early, they'll hold your luggage while you enjoy the pool and amenities or if a room is available, they'll check you in early. There's also an option to pay $50 for early check-in. Once you check in they give you a welcome drink! The property offers so many activities: *Pickleball *Gym *S'mores by the fire pits from 6-10 PM *Kayaking or paddleboarding: 1 hour a day to explore about 1.5 miles along the lake, passing beautiful homes and ducks floating by *Guitar check-out *Golf balls for use on their gorgeous course They have a private, adults-only pool for swimming, plus two large pools in the main area and a Jacuzzi. There's a bar available at the pools, which is convenient. Restaurants: *Almalfi Cuisine: Upscale Italian with an amazing wine selection, beautiful views, excellent service, and phenomenal dishes. *Almalfi Marina: Located below the upscale restaurant. You can sit at the bar to watch sports or at tables overlooking the lake. Happy hour is 3-6 PM, and I got a craft IPA for just $6, such a great deal! *Brickman's: Honestly, not my favorite. Breakfast can be disappointing. My friend's eggs Benedict was just a handful of spinach on sloppy-looking ham with an overcooked egg. The breakfast burrito is good, though, and the view overlooking the golf course is beautiful. Overall, this place is incredibly relaxing. You can choose a room with a pool or lake view, and it offers great value. Kid-friendly, complementary parking, and truly a hidden escape. Highly recommend for a low-stress, enjoyable stay.

Big shout out to Kaylen who was super nice during the check in process and made us feel so welcome. Loved the champagne and chocolates at check in. Pros: 1. Friendly customer service at every turn. 2. I had an ocean view queen and it was perfect on the top floor overlooking the pool and the oceans. Best views in town! 3. Hot tub and pool are good, open from 8 am - 10 pm. To avoid crowds, go early or after 8:30 pm. 4. It's close to the train station and if you are coming from LA, this is a great option. 5. Dog friendly hotel Cons: 1. Valet only which can get expensive but there are lots a few blocks away, which have over night parking for super reasonable rates, so you can avoid extra valet fees. Most restaurants are walking and the area is super dog friendly. I had so much of fun and an amazingly relaxing vacation, I will definitely be back.

What a lovely hotel!…read more My review is only for the conference I attended here and to be in such a beautiful hotel with gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean, working this weekend felt like a breeze. Conference room was nice and all the AV worked well. Valet parking for $10 was provided for conference goers. I parked in the public lot right across the street for $5.50/day and its literally a stone's throw away. Lunch was Greek cuisine and all of it delicious. The snacks at break were OK too. Bathrooms are nice and just mesmerizing views of the ocean from many parts of the hotel. Id definitely come back again to hang out here another day when not working. Its very chill and classy too. Loved it!

We needed a convenient spot near(ish) to Escondido for one night within the Hilton family of hotels…read moreand chose this Homewood Suites location over other brand hotels as we were traveling with our son and wanted to be able to have separate rooms. It's an all suites hotel so it served that need. The room itself on appearance was very nice, perhaps recently refurbished and felt clean and modern. We had a couple experiences which made it a little weird though. The rooms have motion detecting lights that you can only sort of control. The shower for example...the light turns off when you're in the shower as it doesn't sense your motion and there's no way (obvious to us) to force it to stay on. That was a bummer for the 2 of us who wanted to shower but had to do so in the dark unless we opened the shower door and waved our arm around to hopefully catch the attention of the sensor to give us another 30 seconds of light. This also happens if you're sitting on the toilet. The last thing I want to think about in that situation is having to provide additional motion so the light doesn't turn out. In the living space, a light also automatically turns on when it senses motion. Not great for having our son trying to sleep in that room and us having to move through it to leave the room or access the kitchen to have all the lights suddenly turn on around our sleeping boy. Also had a disappointing non-fitness room experience. The fitness room was no accessible because of renovations...okay bad luck in terms of timing...but they said I could go to the adjacent Hampton Inn and use their fitness room which was open 24 hours. So I did, but, unfortunately their fitness room actually isn't open 24 hours as I learned when I got there. So no fitness room and wasted time walking in the rain to the hotel next door based in the inaccurate info given by the staff. So overall disappointing and strange (especially the lights situation)...seems like they forget to dot a few Is when setting these rooms up.

I have a lower floor overlooking the pool and love to see everyone enjoying the amenities. Parking is expensive, though, at $15.00 per night. THAT is a bummer with so much parking available. Their hotel next door does not charge for parking. They have a nice breakfast and a Wednesday Happy Hour, too. Bonus is the full kitchen. I have a suite with a separate bedroom, which is great! Housekeeping is great too! Keep this hotel in mind.
