A week long event that took endless hours of planning, multiple changes, and a major handful of requests, all made successful thanks to the Lakehouse Team, our fantastic Event Manager Nicole, and Sales Director Kristen. We had plans that lasted a week for our team to fly in from all over, to stay at the Lakehouse Resort. With the help of Kristen and Nicole's guidance and their team's hard work, we had a successful stay at the Resort (with a lot of compliments on the view and the qualities of the rooms), Town Hall (at the Boathouse), Team Building (at the Links). The Team helped with big to small requests and ensured that guests were happy with their stay (handing out welcome bags as planned). Our Town Hall (All Hands) was successful and we genuinely loved our event at The Links (review to come!). Major shoutout to everyone who made our stay and events a success and highly recommend staying here for vacation and/or for work events!

I've stayed here many, many times, (usually two or three times a year) and it's the perfect little staycation or getaway spot. You can book online, but I went through Amex Platinum this time. Check-in is at 4 PM and check-out at 11 AM, but they're very flexible. If you arrive early, they'll hold your luggage while you enjoy the pool and amenities or if a room is available, they'll check you in early. There's also an option to pay $50 for early check-in. Once you check in they give you a welcome drink! The property offers so many activities: *Pickleball *Gym *S'mores by the fire pits from 6-10 PM *Kayaking or paddleboarding: 1 hour a day to explore about 1.5 miles along the lake, passing beautiful homes and ducks floating by *Guitar check-out *Golf balls for use on their gorgeous course They have a private, adults-only pool for swimming, plus two large pools in the main area and a Jacuzzi. There's a bar available at the pools, which is convenient. Restaurants: *Almalfi Cuisine: Upscale Italian with an amazing wine selection, beautiful views, excellent service, and phenomenal dishes. *Almalfi Marina: Located below the upscale restaurant. You can sit at the bar to watch sports or at tables overlooking the lake. Happy hour is 3-6 PM, and I got a craft IPA for just $6, such a great deal! *Brickman's: Honestly, not my favorite. Breakfast can be disappointing. My friend's eggs Benedict was just a handful of spinach on sloppy-looking ham with an overcooked egg. The breakfast burrito is good, though, and the view overlooking the golf course is beautiful. Overall, this place is incredibly relaxing. You can choose a room with a pool or lake view, and it offers great value. Kid-friendly, complementary parking, and truly a hidden escape. Highly recommend for a low-stress, enjoyable stay.

    2 doubles with 3 nightstands

WORST sleep ever at the Lakehouse Resort. This resort is more of a glorified motel. The check-in area is charming but the rooms are lacking character and furnishing dated and showing obvious signs of wear and tear. The room size is nice but instead of using two queen or king beds (plenty of room for these bed options), they chose two double beds with THREE full size nightstands. There's more nightstand space than sleeping space. The bedding need to be freshened. They are super starched and wrinkled from either overwashing or simply poor quality material. The bedding was already wrinkled when we first entered our room. It's not comfortable to sleep with such rough and somewhat hard bedding. If you are assigned to a first floor room like we were, it sucks. You have a view of the parking lot right outside so there's no privacy (we had to keep our blackout curtains shut during daytime because people can look right into our room). The sound proofing is HORRIFYING. We can hear every single step taken by the upstairs guest..the ceiling shakes and the noise echos. In fact, I am up at 6am this morning thanks to the MMA style sound upstairs as I am writing this review. The WiFi is a joke. We've had better speed in the woods. Most terrible sleep for $300+ hotel. Plus they tag on another $48.60/night RESORT FEE for stuff we didn't even use like kayak and beach cruise rental. Those are not "complimentary"...you made us pay for something we didn't want to use. Ridiculous! Almost $400 for a dumpy stay.

We stayed at this hotel over the 4th of July weekend. The hotel has a pool, and is right by the lake so you can do some fun water activities like kayaking. The hotel actually offers 1 hr free kayaking per day for the guests. They have two EV charging stations, free for guests. The rooms were okay but the cleaning could definitely be better. At first, they put us in a room with Clerestory windows with no curtains so it got super bright as the sun came out. We asked to switch rooms and they accommodated the request, which we appreciated. That said, the front desk staff could use some more training. We expected a warmer and more welcoming experience from a 4 star hotel. If you are planning to go to legoland, it is only about 15-20 min drive from the hotel so not too bad.

My friends and I came for a disbachelorette party and rented a boat for an hour. We brought some sandwiches and drinks and had a nice afternoon on the easy to drive boat. We then got a drink and dessert at the restaurant. This was my second time here the first time was in the evening when it was packed. The view is nice both day and night.

Such a great staycation spot. The resort delivers a ton of amenities from multiple pools and Jacuzzis, fire pits with complimentary s'mores kits, plus activities like kayaking, paddleboarding, and golf. The lakeside setting is the highlight, quiet, scenic, and genuinely relaxing. Rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with private balconies that made it feel even more like an escape. Staff was friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Highly recommend for an easy, rejuvenating getaway.

This is one of my favorite hotels for a little getaway . This is our second time staying here and still not tired of it. I always leave feeling refreshed and happy. It's a great place for families or couples or friends. There's lots to do, so the included resort fee is worth it compared to other hotels. We have complimentary access to the driving range to use a bucket of golf balls, ride bikes around property and off property, a stand up paddle board or kayak access each day for an hour, access to small gym, access to pickleball/paddle and tennis courts, fire pits, and heated pools/jacuzzis. Staff are always really nice and accommodating. We were helped by Logan and Natalie at the front desk and they made our trip! It was nice that they texted me and answered all my questions before we got there too. lol we forgot toothbrushes/toothpaste and they had it for us. Also we got welcome drinks , what!!? And smores kit to make at night. 5 stars for service. Food on site was pretty good too! The restaurant by the driving range had awesome parm garlic fries and onion rings with nice selection of beers/drinks. The coffee shop Spinnaker has some nice drinks and kind chill staff - I really liked my hot love potion latte which the barista recc hot for the cold weather we were having. Amalfi is the restaurant not associated with the hotel but has good food/pasta if you don't want to travel out to eat. Hotel room itself was clean and spacious. We loved the balcony view to the lake when the sun shines through. They have Lather products for the bathroom. The beds and pillows were super comfortable. There were abundant plugs for all our electronics too. No microwave in the room but you can use the one in the coffee shop anytime. Property itself was nice to walk around. I loved all the ducks, pelicans, sea gulls, mallards, sparrows and the other random birds I don't know the names of. We saw lots of dogs too since this place is pet friendly. Ps: free parking and free EV charging. There's a lot to do at The Lakehouse! It's really a sweet weekend away kinda spot. Would I come back again? Absolutely .

This place looked good to book, had questions before booking. Called multiple times no one answered the phone. Calls would ring the first few times but after the 3rd call it would ring then straight to voicemail thought that was weird, tried again but this time it was sent to voicemail quicker than the last. It's concerning that they don't answer the phone since they are supposed to have "24 hour front desk 'help whenever u need it'"

Had the wedding of my dreams here october 25th. From when we first toured with Ashley, to working with Nicole, the whole experience was perfect. The staff went above and beyond, Nicole was so kind and responsive, and the marina staff, front desk and banquet staff all were truly top tier. Everything was set up perfectly, clean and so organized. I truly was stress free. Plus the resort and amenities had everyone feeling like they were at adult summer camp. The food (from brickmans) was fabulous and the team at the tasting were so professional and kind. We had the best wedding and I just feel so lucky we found this place.

The room itself was what you would expect from a typical Marriott property. Clean, comfortable, and nothing out of the ordinary. The most disappointing part for me was the breakfast. As someone who eats plant based, my options were extremely limited. I ended up having oatmeal and bananas both mornings while watching most guests enjoy bacon and eggs. I was honestly expecting a bit more variety, especially fresh fruit, which feels like a basic for a standard Western hotel breakfast. On a positive note, the guy sitting on the bench outside was the best part. Overall, it was an okay stay, but I do wish there were more inclusive breakfast options, especially at that price point.

The staff here was very good, smiling, helpful, offered me some snacks for being a Gold member, thank you. The hotel itself was comfortable, but it is on the older side, but still has an outdoor pool, breakfast area and a small gym. So really all the things you need for a comfortable stay. I did not try out the pool, but the breakfast was good and the gym worked, but lacked a bench, which makes a big difference when trying to get a good workout in. The rooms have a slightly larger mini fridge, which is nice to store leftovers and a small freezer section, A coffee maker and a microwave, very convenient. Bed was comfortable as well. There was actually a group of soccer player staying at the hotel that were pretty loud, but once in the rooms, could not really hear them that much, so the walls had decent insulation. As far as the review, here is the good and what could be improved and the weighted average lead me to a 3. Hotel common area's 3 Room 3 Free Breakfast 4 Free parking 5 Gym 2.5 Pool 4 I think this hotel could easily be a 4, maybe even a 5 with an update to the decor and rooms and if they could reconfigure the gym to add a bench and maybe a bigger footprint, but even just adding a bench would bump it up to a 4 for me. They did have dumbbell's up to 70 or 75 lbs, which is a plus. If you are looking for a comfortable stay, reasonable rates, free parking and breakfast and a good overall value, this is a good choice. No frills, just a clean place to stay. I would recommend. I would imagine they will update soon as all around them is up and coming and building a lot of new modern structures, I would hope they would to keep up with the area. Enjoy!

I don't particularly like this restroom setup, but what are you gonna do? The free breakfast is great. They have a made-to-order omelette station, with an actual person behind a counter taking orders and making your food. They also have a self-serve waffle-making station, oatmeal cups, yogurt, cereal, and a mango-infused water (fancy!). The only thing is that the coffee they offered in the dining room was trash. What you want to do is go visit the Keurig coffee maker by the front desk, which is available to guests all day. Make yourself a cup of coffee from there, and thank me later. It's an all suites hotel so it served that need. The room itself on appearance was very nice, perhaps recently refurbished and felt clean and modern. We had a couple experiences which made it a little weird though. The rooms have motion detecting lights that you can only sort of control. The shower for example...the light turns off when you're in the shower as it doesn't sense your motion and there's no way (obvious to us) to force it to stay on. That was a bummer for the 2 of us who wanted to shower but had to do so in the dark unless we opened the shower door and waved our arm around to hopefully catch the attention of the sensor to give us another 30 seconds of light. This also happens if you're sitting on the toilet. The last thing I want to think about in that situation is having to provide additional motion so the light doesn't turn out. In the living space, a light also automatically turns on when it senses motion. Not great for having our son trying to sleep in that room and us having to move through it to leave the room or access the kitchen to have all the lights suddenly turn on around our sleeping boy. Also had a disappointing non-fitness room experience. The fitness room was no accessible because of renovations...okay bad luck in terms of timing...but they said I could go to the adjacent Hampton Inn and use their fitness room which was open 24 hours. So I did, but, unfortunately their fitness room actually isn't open 24 hours as I learned when I got there. So no fitness room and wasted time walking in the rain to the hotel next door based in the inaccurate info given by the staff. Golf course maintenance crews are up and at it, around 6:30 in the morning(!!). My husband's breakfast, the chorizo scramble, and son's breakfast, pancakes, were totally fine and edible.
