MY OPINION! A NEGATIVE REVIEW! NOT A RECOMMENDED HEARING AID PROVIDER. My first hearing aids…read morepurchase. I had many questions. This review is to provide you with my experience. It was not a very good experience. Part of us wants to think professionals are out to help and guide you to a sound decision. My questions were being answered, but the answer led me to ask more questions. I initially I was looking at the 3rd tier level package. After getting more of my question's answered. The hearing aid specialist explained the Tier levels. But was it was cryptic. Vague answers to my questions. I shifted to the 2nd tier package I believed would meet my needs. Still on the fence. I was informed I had 75 days to decide after purchase. This statement alone allowed me to feel comfortable about purchasing. What the heck here goes and I pulled the trigger. My out of pocket cost was just under $1500. I pickup my hearing aids. Started to tune them to me, This session was cut short for some reason and I was nicely rushed out and sent to the front desk where I paid for my hearing aids and signed what I thought was a recipt for the purchase, in fact a contract. After 7 days I had 4 major issues that were not acceptable to me. So I returned the hearing aids. Thats then I was informed there was a $300 DOLLAR RESTOCKING FEE! I PROTESTED. I was then informed it was in the contract I signed when paying for the devices. The Sales person started to say I told you " I cut her off" DO NOT try to say you informed me of this fee! It would be a flat out lie. Sales person digressing with silence. I said before leaving the office how I wanted the refund done and left. I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS merchant to anyone seeking hearing aids. Very sly and dishonest approach to hearing aids sales. In a position to take advantage of folks and they do. And did with the way I was treated. BUYER beware!

Free hearing evaluation is a scam. I responded to a commercial that stated that Livingston Hearing…read moreis looking for 80 participants for a free tinnitus evaluation that would result in a number of days of evaluating a new device for treating tinnitus. You may have seen the commercials on TV yourself. When I got to the Livingston Hearing Center in Rio Rancho (Coors Blvd), I was told that there is no new device available as advertised, but that there was a device that could be added to a traditional hearing aid that may or may not mitigate the constant ringing in my ears. My free hearing test revealed that I have no hearing loss, but I agreed to try the device Shane Jaramillo said may or my not work for my tinnitus and made a follow-up appointment for a week later to get them fitted. A few days later, I called and cancelled the appointment because I decided to try some alternative treatments first. About a week later I received a credit bill in the mail for the hearing aids. When I called to complain, the front office person Sarah said I would have to make an appointment with Shane to cancel the order. She became very coy when I asked her why she didn't mention that when I called to cancel my appointment stating I was no longer interested in the devices. I made the appointment and when I met with Shane, he claimed that he was not aware of my call to Sarah cancelling the appointment even though they are the only two people working in the office! Shane was not at all apologetic, stating that if I had ordered custom-made cabinets, I would be charged even if I cancelled the order. He further stated that he received the hearing aids in his office the day after my initial appointment, and that was the date I was charged. In his mind, this justified the charge! I received written notification that day of the cancellation from these scammers and have now been working for several months to get the credit and charges related to this "free hearing evaluation" removed from my credit. My initial appointment was for September 2019, and I have just now in December 2019 fully resolved the credit dispute and now am working to get the credit account closed. Be VERY careful if you decide to deal with this office and read everything you sign. When the document that I signed was presented to me at my original appointment, Shane told me it was only to see if I was credit worthy, but later when I complained about being charged for something I had not received, Shane said that he had my signature authorizing the charge. The form itself states "balance due at delivery," but this apparently means the balance is due at delivery TO THEIR OFFICE! These are very questionable business practices, especially since they are typically provided to folks who are old and vulnerable. Oh, and by the way, there is no new device that helps with tinnitus...that TV commercial claim is designed to get you in the door in hopes to sell you some very expensive devices.
