Disappointed in my experience here, felt overcharged for a quick clean up and then when I questioned why it was so high I was met with a huge attitude and basically told to go somewhere else if I can't afford it which is nuts to say lol anyways I paid and won't be coming back. She also took too much hair off I went back in to show her where she messed up and she denied messing up, she also looked me up and realized I was an influencer (did not tell her this btw) and started accusing me of wanting free things (never asked for free service btw) and accusing me of trying to ruin a small business (never made a video calling her out or saying anything about her business and I don't plan on it because I think that's tacky, I just leave a yelp review and go on about my day. I've never weaponized my platform to drag a business no matter how rude they are) in short, she's rude and lacks good customer service. She also threatened to make a video about me and take me to court, almost forgot to add that Ps-another review is stating I was bullying the owner, I was not. In fact she was raising her voice at me and wouldn't even let me speak, I am grateful I recorded the entire interaction to support this statement I just believe it would be messy to attach it to the review especially given I didn't get consent to record, I did it to protect myself. Alexandra DeCleene quite literally walked in as I was leaving so she was clearly instructed to lie on me which is unfortunate. I can easily sue you for defamation and blatantly lying on me. The amount of people Tooba has asked to leave reviews disputing mine goes to show she feels guilt for how she went about my service. If her clients really loved her work they would have been made their own personal reviews stating so but instead they'd rather lie about me and bash me as if I didn't get video of the interaction, it's sad. I am not the only review that has stated she's rude and overpriced but because I have a social media platform I'm being completely villainized which is crazy. I could easily get people to leave reviews but then I'd be as bad of a person as she's being. Good luck with your business. I'm updating my review one more time in response to the owners response, in short you're a liar. I have video proof, be happy I'm moving on from this. Thank you. I also want to address a recent review from Arnell: it does not reflect what two of Toobah's other clients witnessed, I arrived shortly after and they were talking about it. This spot is a hidden gem! I just moved to this area last year and have been going to my eye brow lady all the way in the South Bay for 15 years (yes, I commuted over an hour just for her every month because great service deserves loyalty) but she has retired and moved to Vietnam and haven't had great success in finding a go to place close to home. Finding Tooba and boss brows has been such a blessing! The last three eye brow places I went to, waxed waaaay too much, the other cut my skin by tweezing too roughly, and the other was uneven. I finally gave up and just started tweezing myself and hadn't had the courage to try a new place out until I found this place on Yelp. And am soo happy! First time here, I called but she didn't have anytime available same day, but Tooba was so quick to reply. Made an appointment for the next day and my unibrow is gone, she shaped it perfectly with a nice arch. She used a combination wax, thread and tweeze and really takes her time to pay attention to the natural shape of my brow. She's an artist for sure. I was so happy with my eyebrows I inquired about other services because I'd heard of lash lifts and wanted to try it out. She talked about my lashes and made suggestions about a lash lift and a lash tint. I honestly never thought or knew I had long lashes! She said they were long, but couldn't tell because they point too down and the lift would help pop my eyes. I cannnnooottt get over this LIFT?! It's as if I got lash extensions for free!!
