Disappointed This Time -- Inconsistent Service I've been to this salon before and had a great experience -- the lady I saw last time did a beautiful job shaping my brows with a defined arch and a soft, natural tint. Unfortunately, today's visit was a letdown. Despite clearly asking for an arch, the technician gave me a rounded shape that doesn't suit my face, even though I have enough brow for proper definition (as other stylists have managed before). The edges were left uneven and jagged, and stray hairs above and below the brow line were ignored -- it just didn't look clean or polished. I also requested a light tint, but she applied a very dark dye that felt way too harsh. I've attached a photo collage to show the difference: The top photo is from a previous visit (same salon, different technician) -- clean, defined, and just the right tint. The middle photo is today's brows before the dye. The bottom photo is after the tint -- too dark, with an attempted arch that left my brows looking uneven and butchered at the base. I genuinely wanted this to work -- the location is convenient and the first experience gave me hope. But the inconsistency in service and the lack of attention to detail today were disappointing. I went in Zia as a walk in on a Tuesday evening at 5:50 10 minutes before they closed. I do not know the associates name that threaded me. She had a horrible attitude when I would point out that there was still tons of hair on my upper lip. She was rushing and uncaring. Parking: ample parking in front because it's a very large shopping center. Zia threading is next to GNC. There is also 1 parking spot just for Zia threading customers! I recently moved to The Valley and was hoping to find a new threading salon to go to. Yelp came to the rescue and I found Zia Threading. It was only $10 to do my eyebrows and it was so quick! I also came here after leaving work late one day, but I called ahead and asked the woman working there if it'd be okay if I arrived right as they were closing, and she was willing to stay open for me. I really appreciate that because I was trying to get them done before I left for vacation the next day. Monica was my artist, and she was super kind and patient. She did a great job and did it super quickly. She also gave me an stamp card for future visits! I'm happy I find this place, and am looking forward to coming back here for all of my threading needs. I have never left a threading place with my eyebrows burning until today. Not only that but I feel like I left there with my eyebrows looking as how I came. When she was done she gave me a mirror so look at my eyebrows and there were hairs as if she didn't touch it, plus red from tearing my skin. I told her there are still lots of hair and she tried again. She was done but there were still hairs and my eyebrows were burning so I left it as is. Terrible service. I just happened to pass by the area and needed an eyebrow thread badly. They did a great job on my eyebrow and upper lip thread. It didn't hurt at all, in fact I fell asleep when they did it lol. Only downside is it is a bit pricey. I paid $17 for eyebrow and upper lip. Even in Beverly Hills it is $14 for that. But they give a stamp card, the 10th one you will get a free service. read more

Do not recommend them at all( stole my sunglasses) I left my YSL sunglasses and I called right after that, to let them know to keep it for me so I can pickup. They said they will keep that and i went there 2 times and they were closed. I called few days after and they did not pickup. I could not go back for a week since I was sick. They took my glasses and now they are saying sorry we are not responsible for your sunglasses. They dont even want to check the camera since they know who took it. This business is located inside the AMC Promenade on the second floor. I planned to come here at 10:20am before they opened at 10:30am because I wanted to be the first one but someone had beat me to it. There was only 1 lady working. I waited about 10 minutes, but didn't mind because it allowed me to take pictures for Yelp. When it was my turn Nadeen asked me if I wanted just a clean up. I really appreciated that she asked what I wanted because usually whoever threads my eyebrows just go at it and they do what THEY think is best. I told her that I wanted a bit more arch and she said okay and got started. After she completed my right brow she grabbed the mirror and asked if I liked it (another plus).
