I chose them because of the positive reviews and was expecting a careful, professional brow service. My appointment was with Riley, who I understand is also the manager, which made my experience even more disappointing. There was no consultation whatsoever before she started. Riley never asked how I normally wear my brows, what shape I wanted, or whether I wanted my brow hairs trimmed. My brows were naturally full with longer hairs, and she trimmed them extremely short and tweezed them, completely changing the look of my eyebrows. If she had simply asked me beforehand, I would have made it very clear that I wanted to keep my brows full and did not want the hairs cut this short. The service is listed as approximately 20 minutes, but I was in the chair for about 8 minutes. The entire appointment felt rushed, especially for a first-time client. I left extremely disappointed, and now I have to wait for my eyebrows to grow back. For a first-time client, I believe there should have been a consultation before making such a noticeable change to my brows--especially when the person providing the service is also the manager. Sadly, this was not the experience I expected after reading the reviews, and I would not return for eyebrow services.

The girls were all very kind. My requested service was a manicure and pedicure and I encouraged them to decide what type of gel was best for me (I am an esthetician and massage therapist). They chose the hard gel. I wanted a milky white with chrome (matching) and stayed positive, for the price it had to be great, right? They delivered high quality work, with care. I was also told the peeling might be due to "oily nails," which doesn't match my long history of gel without issues. While I appreciated the offer to fix it, the lack of flexibility and dismissal of valid concerns makes it hard to recommend this salon.

Just 3 words to describe her work....SUPERB, FANTASTIC, IMMACULATE!!! I saw her raving reviews on yelp, and i thought i should try her with my brows first. I HAD (and not HAVE anymore) extremely wierd brows, that no one ever could fix. I have a scar on my brows, and so they grow funny. They had different shapes, and the scar obviously had a big bald spot. I have tried so many people in the valley, n yet no one could do anything with them. It was the most embarrasing spot on my face. Then i met Nidhi. She was very thorough and informative, and i felt comfortable with her right away. She told me that she will try her best to shape them, and give me the thickness and a nice arch. I must say, she kept her promise. I was (will not deny), very nervous due to my past experiences. Then when she was done, she handed me the mirror, n VOILA.....absolutely great looking brows. She did some magic, n i am her fan. Ever since, i get so maNY compliments from everyone(first time in my life). So, I made my next appointment with her for a facial for the next day. She had a GREAT hand. Felt like i was on "cloud 9". Her facials are long, n she likes to work with her hands (which i love. they are soooooo relaxing) and not the machines like the other places. The fragrance of the product that she uses is amazing. I went to this place for Threading. I think that is how it is called. The girl was pleasant. I was little iffy, as this was my first time for getting Threading, as I have been waxing all my life. Her place is inside a salon called Kiko's. She made me comfortable and asked how I want the shape. I told her I do not want them to be thin, with a nice arch. She started Threading at the left eyebrow. I think it was much less painful than waxing. After about 5 minutes, she showed me the mirror. I was pleased, but I did not show it to her, as I do not show my emotions so easy. That is how I am. Well, when she was done with both the eyebrows, I could not hide my happiness. It's not done yet. I saw on her services that she does Brazilian waxing also. After inquiring, I decided to get that done too. It was amazing. This tiny girl is fast and meticulous with her work. EXCELLLLLEEENT JOB!!! Nidhi is great, n all these raving reviews tell the truth. I'm a model, n my face, especially my brows are a very imp asset for me for my work. I've always had somewhat round shaped brows, which i always hated, but unfortunately no one could fix it. I was looking for someone who cud do miracles somehow, n fix them for me. I found out about Nidhi thru my another model friend, n she suggested i see her.....n surely i called her right away n made an appointment. She certainly did not disappoint me!! I have no idea what she did (with her skills), that i saw a difference right away. I've been to her thrice, n everytime my brows look better n better. I was referred to Nidhi by my friend rachel, who visited her a few days ago for a brazilian wax and she had absolutely loved it. So i thought i should give it a try too since i had just moved from Chicago and was looking for a place to get mine done. She was absolutely right!!! Nidhi is extremely professional and kind. I told her at the beginning of the treatment that i am a chicken when it comes to pain. She not only used a numbing lotion on me, but she has great tapping method after every pull, that really works. I must say that this was my most pain free waxing treatment EVER!!! She talked to me the whole time to distract me. Not to mention about her special wax....i've never seen that kind of wax before. Yepeee!! i finally found someone who could shape my brows exactly the way i like. I feel your brows are the most important part of your face, and it can make or break your confidence. I moved to LA from Boston about 5 months ago, and ever since have been to so many threading places. Everywhere i went, they kept messing and making my eyebrows thin. Always disappointed, i started tweezing my brows myself. After a while, not being able to keep up with it, i started searching for a threader again. I found Nidhi on yelp about a month ago, n have been to her only twice. My brows have never looked better before, even when i went to my favorite girl back in Boston. I found this place on yelp, and i thought i shud give it a try. I made an appointment for both eyebrow threading and brazilian. I must say, i have never had better looking eyebrows before. She is really quick yet very precise. I was also very impressed by her waxing skills. Getting my brazilian done was always a big put off for me because of the pain issues....but Nidhi uses a very different wax i've never seen before. It was the most pain free experience i've ever had. I met Nidhi about 8 years ago, when no one had even heard of threading. When she shaped my eyebrow the first time, since then there is no looking back. I am a regular 3 week client getting my brows and brazilian wax done, and every month get a facial done from her. She is amaizing. She exactly knows what she is doing. She is very quick when it comes to pain, like threading and waxing, and extremely gentle when it comes to facials. I love her facials, coz she does a lot, n a great job. I have been coming to Nidhi for many years now, and she is the BEST. I get my Brazilian/ Bikini wax from her. I have tried many people before when i lived in NY, but every time my experience was very traumatizing. But then, few years ago, when i moved to California (in the valley), she was the first girl i tried here, and i was sold!! I've been going to Asia Salon in Encino since 2020 and have been a loyal customer for the past six…read moreyears. Unfortunately, after my experience today, I will no longer be returning, giving this place my business, or recommending it to others. I had a brow threading appointment scheduled for 2 PM that I booked three weeks in advance at my last service. I'm also taking a trip tomorrow, which is why I made sure to book my appointment ahead of time. At 10:30 AM, I reached out to confirm that the brow lamination and tint were included with my appointment. They responded that the brow artist (the owner) who was scheduled to do my brow threading had to leave early for the day and asked me to come in at 12 PM or 1 PM instead. I explained that I would not be able to make either of those times because I had already planned my day around the 2 PM appointment, which I had booked weeks in advance. I ultimately rearranged my workday and moved several things around so I could make the appointment, especially since this was such a last-minute change on their end. I drove 30 minutes in the middle of the day to get there and arrived at approximately 1:20 PM. When I arrived, I was told that they couldn't see me because I wasn't able to make the 1 PM time and arrived at 1:20 PM instead. Before I even arrived, they had already told me over text that the only option would be to reschedule for Wednesday because they were closed on Tuesdays. I explained that this was not a realistic option because I'll be taking a trip tomorrow and that I should have been given more notice about the schedule change instead of being asked to rearrange my day at the last minute. Now, at 4 PM the day before my trip, I'm left scrambling to find a new place to get my brows done, which has added unnecessary stress to an already busy day. I have never had an issue with the quality of their work, which makes this experience even more disappointing. As a business owner, your number one priority should be taking care of your customers, especially long-term customers who have supported your business for years. Instead, the only response I received was essentially, "We changed your appointment, and it's your fault that you couldn't make it within the timeslot we provided 2 hours prior so we can't see you." It goes to show that as the business has grown, the level of care and consideration for long-term clients has gone down. I understand that things come up, but as a business owner, she should have been the one accommodating me or trying to figure out a solution rather than leaving me hanging after the changes were made on their side. After six years of being a customer, I expected much more consideration. Unfortunately, this experience was enough for me to decide that I will not be returning, giving this place my business, or recommending it to others.

I clearly expressed what I wanted... the lashes looked horrible- no style, thin in some areas, overfilled in others. She mouth breathed on my face the whole appointment and I could smell her breath as well as her fingers. Not coming back, don't recommend getting your lashes here.
