This nervousness manifested in showing aggression a couple times when she felt threatened by strangers. Since my fiance and I plan to have children in her lifetime, we were told by our previous trainer that Maebe would not be a good dog with kids in the house, and we should give her back to the rescue. We were devastated at the thought of having to give her up. We called Pit Bull Rescue San Diego and told them our dilemma. They recommended Amanda, citing her history in rehabilitating skiddish pit bulls. Our first session with Amanda ended in complete relief and hope that we can have Maebe as a dog with children in the house. Amanda showed us how to change Maebe's fears into happiness with lots of positive reinforcement whenever something scary was nearby. She worked out Maebe's fear of bikes, skateboards, and strangers. Amanda showed us how to control the situation in all cases, and keep our dog calm and happy at all times. A few months later, we now have a great, happy dog with a large repertoire of tricks. We have had parties at our house with many new people, and the dog handled it great thanks to Amanda's tips. She still gets scared of people, but we know exactly what to do to manage the situation for the best possible outcome for our dog, our guests, and our future kids. In just 60 days of classes here and there, our DOG has made insanely huge improvements. Ranging from more structured walks, instead of towing us around, sit, stay, recall and being around other dogs and not getting too anxious. Our dog use to not be able to be around another dog without whining and anxiety taking over, he is making huge progressive every week though with Ed's classes and guidance!! We just finished his 6 week group training and I plan on going into the next class, which is more advanced with more dogs, higher pace and continue the learning and training with our dog TANK! They were the only pet hospital willing to take him in on a Saturday without an appointment. They treated him so kindly, providing sedation and x-rays (which thankfully showed no broken bones). They prescribed oral pain killers and indoor rest, which is working well. Dr Meka even called on Monday to check on Charlie!

My 77 year old friend Mike brought his Labrador Tully to mast blvd pet on Tuesday he had stopped…read moreeating and drinking and was experiencing stomach issue. Dr Singh diagnosed him with pancreatitis and recommended two days of Iv fluids along with three days of panoquell CA-1 injections at a cost of approximately $4000, Mike was to take Tully home at 6 pm and bring him back at 9 am for the next two days By Wednesday morning when he brought him back his condition appeared to be worsening he was showing signs of pain, weakness and overall declining health. I accompanied mike that night we had asked several staff on Tulllys condition while waiting to see him, but none of them had seen him that day. When dr Singh came in, I asked direct questions about tullys worsening condition and that he appeared to be in pain. We felt that we did not receive clear answers regarding his condition, prognosis or pain management. Tully was so weak that his staff carried him to the car On Thursday morning his health had deteriorated so severely he could not lift his head and we could barely carry him to the car, so a staff technician came out to the car to administer his final injection of panoquell CA1. We showed her that he was trembling in pain and we were now offered pain relief in the form of an Iv injection of morphine. We were told dr Singh would come to the car to discuss Tullys condition, but that conversation never took place. Before leaving I asked what we should do if Tully was not improving by the next day, we were advised to take him to the La Mesa emergency hospital By Friday Tullys condition had become critical he was crying out in pain and we rushed him to the emergency hospital . Within about 30 minutes we learned how severe his condition had become. Mike was faced with the heart breaking decision to euthanize him because he was suffering and his prognosis was extremely poor. Losing a beloved pet is devastating. What has made this experience especially difficult is our feeling that we did receive clear communication about Tullys worsening condition, prognosis, pain management option, or when emergency care should have been sought. We are sharing our experience so that other pet owners will ask detailed questions, closely monitor their pets progress during treatment, and consider seeking a second option if their pets condition continues to decline
