I worked in the Formalwear industry for many years, so I am a very discerning customer. All of my former colleagues have moved on so I was fairly worried last night when I had a formal event to attend and had to use a recommended but untried place called Boss Formalwear. They were amazing for both my stylish son, and my hard to fit body! They had a great selection of styles, they carry their own inventory in-stock, and the prices were very fair. It is a business where attention to detail is everything and they were so attentive- checking the sleeve length, making sure the pant length is correct, triple checking that all the accessories are there and operable. My family was on our way to another retailer, and I remembered seeing Boss Formalwear. We decided to stop in. I am delighted we did, as I saved myself $100! My 17-year-old grandson is a big and tall young professional. I really liked that Boss Formalwear had a large selection of mannequins dressed, so you could mix and match. We had three professionals assisting us. Each one was very kind and professional. A very modest down payment was requested, however, I paid in full. I was elated that our rental came in a day early. I needed a tux for a hoity-toity black tie affair the wife and I had been invited to. Jim and the staff at Boss could not have been nicer, more courteous or more attentive. They have a nice selection of tuxedos and cater to individuals and large groups. I was perfectly fitted with a very nice tux and my wife was all smiles for the entire weekend as it was very dapper and I fit right in with the upper crust at this event. My daughter came in to pick up a suit for her brother's wedding only to find that the pants that they fitted her for didn't fit. They claimed that the pants were the same ones and that my daughter had lost weight. 1. My daughter had not lost weight. 2. They didn't have another pair of pants anywhere in that store. 3. They didn't try to find another pair in ANY store. 4. The manager had a very bad attitude towards the whole situation. Vicky, the manager, started yelling, saying that this was all out fault and there wasn't anything they could do. No apology, no resolution. When asked for a refund, Vicky couldn't wait to hurry up and give my daughter her money back. It was very rude and unprofessional. Then before we could resolve anything else, Vicky rudely hung up the phone on us. The experience was very upsetting and has made us very aware of the staff that works here. Thank you but no thank you. We will never be back.... and we shall inform anyone to go elsewhere. read more

Just rented a tux for charity event this weekend. They are the best. Came in to try it on, asked for adjustments day of, and they accommodated without complaint. "We just want you to be happy with the tux"! I have rented from them in the past, just not recently. So happy to see nothing has changed with their customer service. We don't need formal wear very often, but when we do, this is THE place to go for men's wear. This is old school customer service at it's best. Needed a tux for our daughter's wedding. Boss Formalwear delivered as always! Jim set us up with a Michael Kors tux and recommended dark navy vests for the bridal party to match the bridesmaid's colors-good call! My dad and the father of the bride, and me of course, wore black vests. Tuxes looked amazing and the photos were awesome with the slight color contrast. All my groomsmen's tuxes fit perfectly, even the out of town guests were in and out in a few minutes. Boss is always on point with measurements and pickup/dropoff is a breeze.
