After a long working day, it's not nice to take the drive here only for the employee guy to say Amazon closed at 8pm. I really only go here now for Amazon returns. I used to love Kohl's back in the day when I was in high school. It was one of the only places I could find tall jeans other than Express. It's seems to be going the way most department stores have gone recently. You never really see many people shopping and always lots of clearance racks. I think they should narrow their focus to the areas that sell more and shrink their footprint to survive. I think their children's and baby clothes still do well and housewares. They could probably get rid of the juniors and shoes depts altogether. Just some ideas to maybe stay afloat during a time when more and more people are working from home with no plans of returning to the office. read more

Just stopped in to use my Kohl's Cash and shop more deals. The people here are super friendly and will help you out. The store was very organized and the clothes were placed in their respective areas. This really helped when I was looking for something specific because I could see better over all the inventory they have. read more

In line currently and there is no help at the service desk. There is a line of 30+ people and they have two people working it. That's unacceptable. I'm here to pick up but it would have been faster to litterally pick it up myself and go to a regular line. Bad business. Ridiculous. read more

I truly understand that places are inundated with customer service calls. I am so frustrated with the return process at Kohls. I returned over $100 of merchandise (at my expense) of items we purchased at Kohls.com. Now despite the confirmation that Fed Ex has delivered the items, Kohls is saying this has not been received at their ware house. I have been hold cumulatively several hours waiting to talk to Kohls. Once you finally get thru it is just a run around. I am beyond frustrated! Trust me, If I owed them $100 and did not pay my bill, they would harass me non stop- how come the opposite never works out? They promptly take your money and then don't return it or admit their faults. These experiences have left a BAD taste in my mouth about Kohls. read more

The manager at this location is terrible. They told me I can switch out a shirt as long as it was the same brand and same price. Then after I picked out a shirt with the same brand and price, she tells me it has to be the same exact shirt. This kohls is TRASH!! read more

Just left here after what I thought would be a quick run in to return an online order. The signs in here were awful so I didn't know where to go, ended up walking the entire store to get to customer service. Then I stood in a line for 15 minutes. It was especially infuriating that a girl was standing at a register not ringing anyone up. She was there for purchases only, but why on earth would you not re purpose that employee in the situation where the line is 10 deeps? Reminds me why I only shop online and rarely at Kohl's! Buy Online Pick Up in Store. Many problems! First of all, items I wanted weren't available in store so shipping fee would apply. Really $10.80 Sonoma socks are now $20. Deleted that! Several other items tried...out of stock. Staff is great in store, just stay away from the ridiculous buy on-line-pick up. read more

This is the worst Kohls store ever! The hours posted on the door stated they were open until midnight. However, the store closed at 11:45pm! The announcement was made "we are now closed"! When I questioned it, I was told the employees want to get out of there too. There was an employee who was standing by the register complaining - what is the matter with people having to shop, what is so important that they can't buy it at another time. He said it is ridiculous how they have to keep the store open for so many hours just so people could shop. Hello!!!!!!!!! It was the week before Christmas! All stores are open late! Huge fan of Kohl's. I like the Countryside location better, but Chicago Ridge is good too. Well organized, clean, good customer service - GREAT deals all the time. Everything is usually on sale, and there are always 10-15-20% off coupons. You should never pay full price for anything. read more

This store is the closest one to me so I go often. I have never had a problem with employees, they have always been helpful. I do the online order and pickup often. Its so much easier for me. Its not always the quickest with finding my order but its still faster than going through the store trying to find what I want. And, its retail..... employees are going to be at their limit sometimes, they're human (especially at the holidays) read more

This is the worst Kohl's store that I have ever shopped at and only in the last couple of years. There customer service has gone nothing but downhill. It used to be a really nice place to shop but the new employees that they have there now especially behind the service desk are just ignorant and mean and act like they would rather be anywhere but there. The three African American women at the customer service desk are rude and seem to go out their way just to be mean. They definitely are not helpful nor courteous whatsoever! read more

I received a $130 CHI straightener as a gift from my mom a few months back and the straightener started to randomly shut off and smell like burning. Customer service would not exchange because they did not have the same color. Manager also refused after 30 minutes of trying to explain the situation. Called corporate in front of the desk and she told me "I don't see why they wouldn't do that for you especially since they do not carry the color anymore". She said ultimately the decision was the managers and it was her discretion. She refused again even though corporate told her she could. When I walked away the African American manager named Chelsea under her breathe called me a "white bitch". I was then well aware of the reason she chose to give me such an issue with such an easy exchange. I will be contacting corporate again. read more

This location is close and decent. I prefer the Orland or Crestwood one because they have less mall traffic and other stuff to offer. The one problem I have had with this one is their associates don't seem to know where the registry item locations are. You can ask them to help you find it and they don't know where to look. Oh, another small problem was the girl didn't know how to measure my husband for a dress shirt. Luckily, an older associate was there and knew a lot about that and tailoring. She was awesome with her knowledge. They need to hire more people like her. read more

I have gone to this store plenty of times without problems but just recently I got followed to my car by an employee accusing me of stealing when nothing even happened. He scared me so much when he was following me I was afraid someone was trying to jump me and my little sister. No beeper went off or anything when I left the store. When the employee realized he was wrong HE DIDN'T EVEN APOLOGIZE. I will not be back after this experience. I refuse to go to a store that hires employees like this. read more

Usually nice young 20 somethings working at checkout but yesterday I was actually harassed, insulted, and embarrassed in front of my 9 year old daughter and 2 year old son by the older, not so polished cashier. After asking her to ring up my purchase as two separate transactions so I could receive the 10.00 off, she told me she couldn't (wrong, she could have) and after I asked if I should go to a different register she said yes so I gave my daughter the remaining toddler clothes to hold while I picked up toddler shoes my Aunt had ordered online for my son, the online pick up desk was directly behind the register I was at and as I waited to be helped I heard the cashier on the phone saying "she is up to something, she just left my register and now she's at the online pickup desk, her daughter is holding the clothes in her hand and sitting at the chair next to the counter. Ok, I'll let you know when she's ready to exit" ....I don't understand what she thought I was "up to" but I will never shop at that location again. My daughter also heard the woman and asked me why the woman was talking about us on the phone. I was clearly discriminated and harassed for absolutely NO reason. read more
