I took PTO, prepared my studio, and waited for a cleaner who was never coming. Their phone went to voicemail. When I asked for proof of the cancellation notice, they provided an internal cancellation record and an unrelated older SMS record, but no evidence showing that a July cancellation email or text was actually sent or delivered. Their response focused on the fact that I was not charged, while ignoring the wasted PTO, preparation, and waiting time caused by their communication failure. Due to the recent remodel it was suggested that we do a "Deep Clean" verses a standard cleaning. We agreed to the service and the price, which included the kitchen, dining room, living room, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an office. The manager, or at least I think that is his title, said just make sure they have access to the areas and let them do their job and clean. That is exactly what we did. To the point my wife and I sat in my office so we were out of the way. After about 5 hours the cleaners had completed the kitchen, dining room, and living room, they took a short break for lunch, and returned to continue on the rest of the house or so we thought. After returning, the cleaners started on the master bedroom and bathroom. It was at this point we ran into the end of the day when Greg text my wife said the cleaners were leaving and would be back the next day to finish the job due to it taking so long. The excuse that was given was it was because of the remodeled bathroom, which was referred to as "post construction." Doing a tile floor and replacing the caulking in a tub is not construction. As a matter of fact it should have saved them time, because they didn't need to clean the floor or wipe down the floor panels, which was included in the service, since they were brand new. Greg stated this was never discussed and we would have to pay additional money to have the rest of the house finished. He said we told them the house only had " a little dust" which were in fact his words about my office, and had nothing to do with the master bed and bath. As far as I'm concerned this was a bait and switch. We even went to the lengths of going over the initial call, which was recorded by them, and confirmed that everything WAS in fact discussed. Still, we were told we would have to pay more. Keep in mind they didn't even complete 50% of the work promised. The master bedroom was not complete, they didn't finish cleaning the master bathroom, they didn't touch the second bathroom, either of other other two bedrooms, or my office. So they did less than half of what was promised, charged us FULL price, and tried to charge us additional funds outside of what we agreed on. They have made no attempt to make this right, or even take any responsibility. My wife and I had to clean the rest of the house ourselves. Also, I have security camera footage which can confirm all time frames stated above. They company knew exactly what they were suppose to clean here and just simply didn't do it. We had to foot the bill for the lack of time management on the part of their staff. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau.

The bed was not made properly -- the duvet cover was inside out and the sheets were put on incorrectly, etc. For a service that cost over $500, I expected to come home and see that "sparkle" and smell you expect from a true deep clean, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. She knew our home, respected it, and always did an excellent job. One of the reasons we chose VeterClean was their guarantee that she would remain our dedicated cleaner. Unfortunately, that agreement was not honored. Without any notice, a different crew arrived at our home. This was the first red flag--no communication, no explanation, just a change. The only contact we received was after we expressed our disappointment to the new team. Worse yet, this new team was not properly informed about our scheduled add-on for oven cleaning--a costly oversight. They had no training or understanding of how to clean a Wolf enameled oven, and they caused $859 total damage to top and bottom ovens. Deep scratches and tears to the glass seal were evident immediately after they left. We tipped the team generously, only to walk over and find the damage moments later. I called the owner right away, and instead of accountability, we got deflection. They insisted the cleaner in question was "their best" and claimed to have spoken with Wolf and another appliance company that supposedly disputed the damage report we had from TriCity Appliance. When we asked for the names and numbers of these sources, the owner simply sent his own contact details instead--hardly a credible or transparent response. They even claimed to have acquired two similar ovens and could not replicate the damage--an unbelievable assertion given the cost and specificity of Wolf appliances. Then came the most insulting part: they tried to blame my husband, saying he must have dragged a pan across the oven. That's a ridiculous stretch. We use our ovens correctly--with racks, like anyone would. If we had caused this damage ourselves, we would never have brought it to their attention in the first place. VeterClean has now offered us a $50 credit split across two future cleanings--$25 each--while we face $859 in damages. This is unacceptable and demonstrates a serious lack of professionalism and responsibility. We expected honesty, integrity, and ownership of a mistake especially from a Veteran owned business... Instead, we received blame-shifting, excuses, and poor management services. Then they saw they were expecting a negative review so They dreamt up the funnest commentary. The blinds were not wiped down, the light fixtures were not cleaned out either. Cleaning behind the fridge was not completed either. I would say more surface level cleaning but not really deep cleaning as one would expect for a move out cleaning request. Actually, I have come back to the house for further inspection and I cannot say what she actually cleaned while here. The bathroom cabinets were not wiped down and nothing vacuumed up from inside the cabinets. I paid for 6 hours of cleaning and stated if she needed the full 8 that would be fine and just let me know. I am not sure if she spent the time here trying to figure out how to fix the damage to the garage siding that she hit while backing the car in (which I do appreciate her telling me about and taking care of) however what I paid for was not what I got in terms of my expectation of a deep clean. Parts of the house were wiped down but not really deep cleaned as discussed.
