I purchased a LS-1630 a few months ago. Before the purchase I emailed and asked tons of questions, to which I received good and timely responses to help me decide on which machine to get. I loved the fact there was no pressure by the salesman. The company advertises that they have customer support for after the sale for a year. Lots of companies make this claim but many times you find the support to be lacking if it's there at all. I've had a few issues with my machine and have contacted the support department several times. Brady is fantastic to explain things on a level I can understand. I have no previous experience with laser machines and thanks to Brady I can not only work with several types of materials with nice results as he took the time to explain lots of different settings to me. He spent a lot of time teaching me to realign the mirrors--a time consuming but extremely important necessity to have proper layering results. Because of the information he's given me I understand my machine so much more than I ever dreamed I would. While Brady's been professional, friendly and so patient...what I really appreciate is knowing if I have any more problems that he'll be able to help me solve them. For me, that's a huge stress reliever just knowing that he'll have me up and running in short time if something happens. I went in for a demo of one of the laser cutters. I figured I would really test the ability of the laser as well as the people doing the demo. I brought my own file to ensure the laser was capable of doing exactly what I required it to do. Ken was happy to use my file so I could be 100% satisfied that the software I was using was compatible, and also be sure the machine had the capabilities I was looking for. Not only did the laser perform well, but Ken was very helpful in answering my numerous questions. I left the demo feeling very confident about purchasing a machine from Boss Laser. The team there was very capable and they mentioned several times that they want you to call tech support if you have any questions at any time. They specifically said tech support is here to help you in any way they can. I can see why I found so many positive reviews from people saying tech support at Boss Laser is fantastic. One last thing I found was there is a no pressure environment. Obviously they would like you to buy a laser but they aren't all over you trying to push a sale. They are happy to give you time to think it over, and they again say if you have any other questions feel free to call. Stoped by to check out Boss Lasers. Kevin (my sales person) went over several different models I had told him I was interested in and offered a demo with Ken the next day. They allowed me to bring in multiple items to test the laser on and went over everything with me. Ken showed me the best ways to engrave and offered feedback on how to use it efficiently. I highly recommend him if your going in for a demo. However, bring your own vector images to make things easier and to help the demo go smoothly. I would also suggest bringing a notepad to write downtime abundance of information you'll receive. Once the demo was over, Kevin came over and went over pricing. I appreciated that they are not pushy to try to sell you things you don't need. They worked with me to purchase the tools to make my job easier. I called and placed my order today and can't wait for the delivery! If you want a quality build for not a high price then choose Boss. We have had our ls2436 with a 65 watt tube for 9 months and have produced many high quality engravings. We had no experience in this field prior to owning a Boss. Their training and support is top notch. We will definitely be expanding our business and will choose Boss again. read more
