I have eaten at Boss' before and it was good. However, I ordered an 8 PC family pack with potatoe wedges and coleslaw. I ordered a Pint of baked beans. The chicken came burnt, the coleslaw was nasty, and the beans were like Bush's beans from the can. I called the store to ask to the manager. He could only offer me a $25.00 credit at the store for another order. I spent $61.00 for the meal, delivery fee and tip. When asked about refunding my money he told me to speak to the people at door dash. Apparently they use the door dash platform but use their own delivery driver. He told me he would check his broasters and get back to me. He still hasn't gotten back to me. Needless to say, I will not eat here or get delivery from here again. I don't often rate places on the internet. I was very dissatisfied with my experience ordering and picking up food here as a first time customer. I placed my order over the phone for pickup. They called me back a few minutes later and told me they were out of garlic bread. I chose cheese sticks as a substitute. They told me my order would be ready when I arrived. When I arrived I stood at the front counter right across from what I assume was the owner or manager. He spent three or four minutes interacting with employees which involved dolling cash out to one of them. Another came from the back with a pan of food and showed it to him. Visions of Kitchen Nightmares started to enter my mind. After a few minutes, my presence was finally acknowledged by telling me they would be right with me. As such a waited about her couple minutes while he continued to interact with employees. Mind you the place didn't appear to be busy with customers at all. When he did finally turn his attention to me, he had difficulty identifying my two items that were sitting on the un-heated pickup shelf right behind him. He asked me if I had everything. I informed him that my order was missing the boneless wings -- they were sitting right beside where my cheese sticks were sitting. How he missed that, I have no idea. Then I informed him that the blue cheese and marinara sauces were missing. He pulled two cups of white sauce out of the fridge then set them down. I reiterated that one is supposed to be blue cheese while the other is marinara. He looked at the two white sauces then determined which one to give me. Then he pulled one marinara out of the fridge, looked at it, and threw it in the trash. He gave me the next one on the stack. I paid the $22 that they wanted for what equated to a medium cheese pizza and 10 boneless wings. I took the food home. When I bit into the first soggy and like warm boneless wing, I checked it for doneness and was so turned off I threw the rest away. The "cheese sticks" pizza was so poorly made that I could only tolerate eating half of it. Turns out the white sauce wasn't blue cheese but was ranch instead. I have no confidence in this place and likely will never ever try eating there again. read more

Im giving this review with the caviat that most of the score is related to service but in restaurants that is a big deal. We have had issues ordering from Boss' in the past. It's frustrating enough to have to repeat literally every detail of the order mutliple times, but then to recieve the wrong order or not recieve it in its entirety really makes one question any attempt to order from them. This is not the first time from Boss' (specifically the minnesota location) that we have had this frustrating experience. Normally, I would stop ordering from them and call it good, but to add insult to injury management was rude. Im pretty chill and accept mistakes happen, but at this point I feel my only due recourse is to leave this review and warn future patrons of this possibility as it's frustrating to say the least. Hopefully they take this review to heart and make changes to their ordering process, but being hung up on by the general manager when enquiring as to why the meal did not arrive in its entirety is enough to end any future purchases. What can I say? Chicken was amazing, pizza flavors have been great (ordered 2 pizzas and got all half-and-halfs so tried 4 flavors, all very good), delivery was quick to the hotel, and they are open very, very late. The chicken tasted fried but was less greasy, great flavor and not terribly salty; tough to do with fried/roasted chicken. The pizza crust has an almost damp cracker texture. It sounds gross but it was very good and the texture complemented the toppings well. Parmesan chicken was very parmesan-y, the Star City was unique and the cream cheese was tasty with the pepperoni, the Bedda Chedda was very cheesy, and the garlic combo wasn't overly garlicy, just right. I just ordered at 2:30 am (when they were open until 4am) to get a large meatza pizza. I got my pizza within 45 minutes and tastes amazing. The coworker and the boss I spoke to on the phone were really nice and very understanding when I mistook a different delivery as mine.
