Had hop, aroma, and good flavor. Cheese curds were cheesy and puffy and melted in your mouth, above average. The Smokestack was awesome! I switched out blue cheese with Pepperjack cheese, but the Bourban sauce with the bacon and caramelized onions mixed with the meat was genuinely so good. :) Parmesan fries were also good with the ranch. There for an hour and 30 minutes. Watched out food go to a table that ordered after us. Finally got food and it was cold. Left $20 on the table to cover drinks and was stop at the door and accused for running out on bill. Handed them another $20 and listened to There excuses. Everytime I go to roundhouse, I have a great experience. The service is on time and attentive, helps to point out the current specials and knows about the beer selection. Came through on our way to MN. The food was really good. Hand made onion rings, fresh burgers, and the chicken strips were NOT some frozen generic strips - had my kids not immediately doused them with Cholula I would have stolen one! Poutine - YUM!! Found this place for date night. The reviews and location seemed different from other places in Sioux Falls. Arrived and were promptly seated. It is a very loud venue. Our waitress was great. She explained the menu items and took our order. We had our child with us in a car seat and had her on the floor. The waitress didn't have any issues but the manager after telling a couple to go to the bar because she needed the table. Came and started to make up something about my child on the floor. I don't disagree that it's probably not the best place but she was not friendly about it. We got our food and I ordered the Indian fry bread. The bread was tasty but the rest was just normal flavors and didn't make it unique. Wife had the poutine which had good flavors and the pork was so tender. Brew Pub is one of our favorites! Has great customer service - always feels welcoming and like they really appreciate the customer. Food never disappoints. They have a lot of great options for food....and drink! Tried their pizza for the first time....if you enjoy thin crust, you will love it. While visiting South Dakota from California, my wife and I stopped by Roundhouse Brew Pub for dinner. Upon arrival at about 5:45, the place was packed to the gills, and no wonder. The food and atmosphere are both quite inviting. My wife ordered the Indian taco and I ordered the pulled pork mac n cheese wrap. We also tried the poutine. All three dishes were very delicious. Despite being very busy, the staff was very attentive and friendly. Our waitress offered up a few good sight seeing ideas for my wife and I which were spot on. Recommend that you give this place a try sometime. read more

I got hosed. My wife and I went out over the weekend, and I got hosed on my drinks. I had two drinks and got charged $36.00 in total. The bottle I was drinking from is $49.99 at Hy-Vee. We took off and headed to Shenanigans and I had the same drink there for $7.50 each. We didn't stay for food, so I have no idea how that is and chances are I will never find out. The bartender was nice though. The atmosphere was also nice, but I am not paying Roam prices for dive bar drinks. read more

We were here during their soft opening and were very pleased. The service was great even though it was obvious the staff and system were new. Our waiter was very personable and we noticed several other servers interacting positively with guests. Super food and it's less than a 10 minute walk from the Village Cooperative. This is our second visit. Went during Thanksgiving weekend. They were busy but one of the owners chatted with us at the door while we aired for a clean table. Cheeseball appetizers were perfectly cooked. Even chislic was as I ordered it, and that isn't an easy feat. Others had burgers and said they were good. Fries were also cooked just right with ample serving size. We are so glad this place came to the southeast and are glad that they seem to be getting and earning neighborhood support! Try them out. Second day open and opening kinks were evident. We sat on the patio and the service is different outside, but let's start with food and drink first. My husband and I ordered the micro brewed IPAs and Ales & Seltzer. All of them were a hit. We ordered the onion rings and two burgers. Both were delicious..the fries just ordinary. Now service...we eat out A LOT!! We recognize good service or at least mediocre service. The service was struggling and not COVID struggling . It was unorganized with some tables getting their food quickly and others waiting an hour or more. Just know this going in and you'll be ok. We literally sat for an 1 hour and 40 minutes and didn't receive our ticket. We could have easily left. YIKES! My husband went in to pay and they had no idea how to help. My girlfriend and I knew nothing about this place (other than it's near her apartment), and have been there twice in the last month. We're both almost shocked at how good its been. The first time, I got the Reuben, and it was excellent. The jalapeño poppers I got were also unusually good. It's a brew pub, so yes, they brew their own beers. I tried the cream ale, and it was very good. My girlfriend said her Bloody Mary was top notch. Can't recall what she ordered, but she loved it. We went back last night and had...literally the best onion rings either of us have ever had. I had a burger called "the Hopper Car", which was borderline spectacular. Kinda messy, but really good. She had "the Passenger Car", and felt it was similarly amazing. I tried four more beers (two IPAs, an amber ale, and a porter) which were all good, but especially the porter. She reports her Bloody Mary was as great as the previous one. We ate outside both times, and it was very pleasant. Highly recommended; worth driving across town to try. read more

We stopped here for lunch. Thoughts.... Confusing when you walk in as to whether you seat yourself or wait to be seated - need a sign! We opted to seat ourselves after a short wait at the door. A server asked if we had been helped and provided us with menus. Great selection of beers and appreciated the printed beer menu. Ordered beers and burgers. There was a pretty long wait for our food but our server apologized and we weren't in a big hurry. The burgers were AMAZING. My hubby commented that his burger was one of the best he has had in Sioux Falls. Knowing we had waited for our food, our server quickly provided our bill and ran our cc quickly. We came in during half time for the USF Football game and let me tell you-- we were taken care of! It is a cold day and we needed to find a warm spot to be able to enjoy the game (our little brothers last regular season college game--brother of 5 siblings that have been cheering for him since he played junior football at age 6). From the moment we came in, the staff took on the mission of getting the USF game streamed for us so we could watch the game.
