This company is horrible. We have called them several times and they have yet to come back out to fix my leaking pipes on my well. They are now rusting as well as leaking. Don't ever use these guys. They are horrible. I paid $3,500 for them to fix my well pump and my tank. They don't return calls and when they do, they say they are coming out, but they never show up. DON'T USE THEM. Apparently the company has been sold, as the new owners are worthless. I was a long time customer, no more. I called on a Friday and was told someone would be out on Monday, between 8am & 9am. So I take the day off and no one showed. I called at noon, the phone went to voice mail and the said "mailbox is full call back later". For 2 hours I called, finally answered and I asked where the repair person was. He said, " they should have been there, I will call now and call you right back and let you know". That was 2 weeks ago, still waiting for the call. I went by their shop twice the next week at different times and no one was there. If this is how they treat people, they will be out of business soon. I call another company, they were here the next day at exactly the time they said they would. This company is AWFUL. I've been without water for 3 days, they said they would call me this morning, yet they didn't. I finally got ahold of someone and they came out after hours of waiting, they talked to me like I was stupid, they told me all the information I had already knew/gathered. Then they said they would call me back in the afternoon and never did. Then stopped answering their phone at 12:30pm. My daughter had called back and they answered. I'm so upset because there is a hurricane coming directly to Florida. they couldn't help but instead of telling me, they talked to me like misogynistic men and then flagged my phone calls after saying they would help me. I then called another company, who was owned by a family and they were saying boss pumps were awful now, after they had sold the company. So please, if you're needing help DO NOT go to boss pumps. I am a little late in writing this review and this is the first review I have ever posted. I have used Boss Pump for years and on November of 2016 my pump gave out. They had installed a pump years before this. So I called them and they sent someone out to check later that day and the person saw that it was not an easy fix and they would need the rig to pull the pump out. He left and later came back with another person and I took a section of my fence down before they got here so they could get to the well. They pulled the pump out and saw that the pump that Boss Pump put in some years before was a make that they never heard of. So the pump they took out was a very cheaply make and they commented on it and I said you guys company installed it about 7 years ago and the fella told me that they had bought the company out recently so they weren't responsible for that. I said ok and they installed a new Gould's pump but used they old wiring and fittings didn't put a new pressure switch. They said my bladder tank was no good so they were going to install a larger tank in at my request but couldn't get the tank to function properly so put a smaller tank in instead which I was not very happy about. So they worked on changing the pump out about 3 to 4 hours and when they finished I asked for the bill and they wrote up a bill for $2499.00 and they said there is a 5 year warranty from Gould's. They said Boss Pump would guarantee the pump job for 10 years which I thought would be good. So I thought that the price they were charging me was kind of steep and he said well it was hard to get to which was not the case. All they did was back in to the pump were I had taken the fence down but I didn't have any choice but to pay it. I asked about the 10 yr guarantee and he told me we will call you later for the extra warrantee and I never heard nothing more. They next day the 1/4" water line to the pressure switch was leaking and I called Boss Pump and they said some one will come out the next day. The next day I went and purchased a 1/4" push lock fitting and fixed it myself. They never came or called me. I will never call them again unless the pump goes out with in the warrantee period and then I am not sure they would honor that guarantee read more
