A big thank you to Robert of All Purpose Plumbing. Robert…read more is exceptionally skilled, reliable and friendly. Our 26 year old plus garden tub was beginning to have a faucet leak. Changing the hot and cold values (stems) was not an easy fix, actually impossible. The unit was so old it was rusted out internally. Robert did a wonderful job in replacing and welding the new faucet unit which required quite a bit of effort and skill... We would differently give All Purpose Plumbing (5) stars. Not to leave out Laura at the office who coordinated the scheduling and was very pleasant and helpful on the phone. Sincerely, Bob and Lorraine P.S. So sorry to see All Purpose Plumbing temporarily closed.

My brother just bought a house in Country Lakes. Had quite a few issues. We needed a plumber so…read morefound All Purpose Plumbing on Yelp. Rob arrived early to check the washer box. It needed replacement because valve bracket was broken. He estimated around $350 and had to go get the parts. Before he left he fixed leaky sink #1. Rob came back less than an hour later and replaced the washer box. He then fixed leaky sink #2 and #3. Total was $600, washer box came out to a little more. Was definitely worth the work. Only complaint, I didn't know I would need to find someone else to replace drywall that was removed for new washer box. They gave me a referral, though. Highly recommend this company. They are very professional and responsive. Would definitely use again.

I would not recommend Third Generation Plumbing Repair…read more I scheduled a service call for a shower valve that was leaking from the showerhead when turned off. The technician was polite, but within about five minutes of arriving, he concluded that the valve was over 20 years old and claimed I needed a complete replacement involving the valve, plumbing behind the wall, drywall removal, and extensive repairs costing over $2,000. What concerns me is that he never shut off the water, disassembled the valve, inspected the cartridge, or performed any meaningful diagnostic work before recommending a major replacement. Instead, he immediately pushed replacing the entire assembly and stated that they do not use Delta products because of issues like this, preferring Moen. I informed him that Delta offers a lifetime warranty on many of its products and that replacement internal parts may be available at no cost. That information was dismissed without any effort to inspect the actual components. After paying a $100 service fee for what felt more like a sales pitch than a diagnosis, I contacted my home warranty company and requested a second opinion. The second plumber determined that the issue was simply an internal valve component and did not require ripping out walls or replacing the entire assembly. My experience with management was even worse. When I called to request a different technician, the plumbing manager repeatedly called me "ma'am." After I corrected him and told him I was male, he responded, "Well, whatever you are." He then became argumentative, spoke over me, said the company was done with me, and hung up. When I called back to try to resolve the issue, he again refused to listen and terminated the conversation. Based on my experience, I have serious concerns about both the accuracy of the diagnosis and the professionalism of management. Paying $100 for a five-minute assessment that was contradicted by a second opinion, followed by being treated disrespectfully when I raised concerns, is not acceptable customer service.

I had a very disappointing experience with this company. They were dispatched through my home…read morewarranty, and despite clear instructions from AHS to contact me beforehand, they showed up unannounced--leaving my tenant with a Monday morning surprise. The issue was a water heater, and I was quoted around $450 just to flush the system. That's outrageous considering you can buy a simple kit online for about $100, grab a few gallons of vinegar, and do it yourself in under 15 minutes. It felt like they were trying to upsell unnecessary work. On top of that, they added uncertainty by saying the unit "might not work" after the flush--conveniently setting things up to charge even more later. What really made this experience worse was the complete lack of communication. I had to hear everything secondhand from my tenant because no one from the company bothered to call me with the technician's findings--even though I paid $120 for the service call. Absolutely no customer service, no transparency, and no respect for the customer's time or money. I would not recommend this company under any circumstances.
