LONG BUT HAPPY STORY: Went to Boston Beauty Supply on 8/2 after inflicting some serious DIY color damage, (trying to replicate a $$$$ silver color from March that had washed right out). I'd also managed to add some temp blue for a concert that would not come out and I looked like a clown. I'd tried 3 $$$$ salons (and 1 less-$$ one) over the last 90 days with poor/fair results, or no real results at all, leaving me frustrated & trying to disastrously do it myself. SARAH & GINA were so friendly and anxious to help fix me. They patiently explained my myriad of color issues 1-by-1, combined their expertise to select the absolute perfect products (strong enough to do the job, but gentle enough to spare my overly-punished hair), and gave me precision step by steps for each product, including important tweaks & caveats just for my situation (i.e. the "order of go" and to not attempt it all in one day, as I'd planned). Thanks to these incredibly knowledgeable and willing women at Boston Beauty Supply, I HAVE MY SILVER HAIR BACK! I want to thank Gina and Sarah for going above and beyond for me and taking the time to help a desperate girl out. I've been walking around with harsh, teenagery, did it myself looking hair for months (I'm 53). Thanks to you ladies, I feel like myself again. Sarah and Gina were AMAZING. They were present with ALL the customers, knowledgeable, helpful, and FRIENDLY. You could tell they take great pride in their store. The store itself and the products are IMPECCABLY CLEAN and well cared for. The atmosphere is a friendly and inviting space for shopping. It is a small store so items may be out of stock (which is true even in larger stores right now) but the staff was great at making alternative suggestions for customers. I was listening to their suggestions to other customers and ended up inquiring about the products they were educating other customers on. Boston Beauty in Burlington is the best! They carry a great product line as we buy all of our hair products from Boston Beauty. I have never been rushed or felt intimidated. The staff stands to be commended for helping my wife and I with all of our questions, just look at our hair!!! Holly, Sandy and Andrea can't do enough for us. Their prices are very competitive for such high quality. I continue to send friends to Boston Beauty for all of their hair products too. They are open 6 days a week which is very convenient. Very unhappy with the customer service I received today. I drove 40 mins to get here and just as I was walking up to the door, the worker walked out and locked the door. I asked if they were closed and she replied "Yeah,sorry..." I looked at the hours on the door and they close at 6. Looked down at my iPhone, it read 5:58. I understand wanting to get out of work but was pretty disappointed they closed early. Probably wont go back. read more

This place has everything that they sell in the hair salons. You don't need a hair dressing license to buy from here. Super helpful and welcoming. She gave me a lot of samples and explained how to use them. They also had a ton of discontinued products worth 15$ sold for 2$. Definitely check this place out! read more

I stopped in to buy a round brush to style my hair after trying the Burlington Mall and finding nothing. The staff was very friendly and immediately asked if I needed help, which I did. They helped me find a brush that not only would work, but that I would feel comfortable using. Very happy with the service and my purchase! read more

What a breath of fresh air! Haven't been to this store in years it's looking great for the limited space, staff is super friendly. Melissa and Sandy helped me pick out a few hair accessories for an upcoming wedding. They also introduced me to Murad and made tester cups for me to try. Can't wait to return! read more

Though the staff was exceptionally helpful and they carry the products I use, they do not price match nor do they refund your money for returns. I bought a hairdryer there today for $116 and within 10 minutes of getting home, found it online for $30 less. I called the store immediately and was told my only option was to return the dryer (not even out of the box) for store credit or exchange. VERY frustrating. I will not buy anything there before checking prices online. read more
