I'm from Southern California and I am visiting MA for the holidays. Was yelping around trying to find a good nail salon for dip removal/ fresh manicure. I am SO THRILLED that I made the decision to come into Blossom Nails & Spa! I made an appointment about 20 minutes before I came in, and John had me seated and choosing my color immediately. He then noticed that my 3-week grown out dip nails from a salon back in CA were done in a lazy way, making them appear more "fake" like acrylics (and my nails are real, so I appreciated him taking the time to explain how he would fix the shape and finishing technique that didn't involve using gel polish). We had great conversation and my experience was all around excellent. I wish I was staying in town longer so I could come back and have him do another fresh set for me! Do not bother looking for other salons in the area, please do yourself a favor and check out John at Blossom Nails & Spa :) PS - they even gave a cute little holiday gift to each customer as they paid at the end of their service. My friend and I decided to stop here around Tuesday afternoon and we are so glad that we did! We both ended up getting a basic pedicure, which was $30 (a little bit pricier for a basic pedi than I'm used to from back home), but man, they use much better products for your feet and they do take their time to make sure you feel pampered! Hot stone massage AND paraffin wax on the heels? YES, PUHLEASEEEEE! They use plastic liners which is SO important. They sanitize their tools in autoclave machines, which is also SO important. I was a manicurist for 5 years and sanitation is key. My nail tech (really wish I got her name) did an amazing job and was sweet. I brought my own nail polish, but they have a wonderful selection of OPI nail polishes if that's what you're into! ;) Since I go to school about 20 minutes away, this will be a regular place for me and my friend when she comes to visit! read more

I'm literally super particular with how my nails are shaped, because I like it short but at the same time, I want my fingers to look long. No salons ever get it right! My fingers always end up looking stubby and it looks like a kid did my manicure. I always end up feeling like I wasted my time and money on getting my nails done, when I feel like I could've done a better job. Although, not in this case! John is really good, didn't miss anything on my nails and my fingers look long and pretty. And he was able to do it so well under pressure, with so many people waiting!!! Perfection. If I could pick one word to describe my experience at Blossom this week, "perfection" would be it. I was in Burlington for the weekend and had a few hours to spare. So I decided to get my nails done (as one does). I had no idea where to go, but Yelp made this place sound pretty good. I was not disappointed. I didn't have an appointment, but was greeted with smiles all around. The shop is open and comfortable; the pedicure chairs are suuuuuuuuper comfy. Speaking of, this may have been the best pedicure I've ever had (complete with hot stone massage and paraffin). My gel manicure was done with precision, and Miley (who took care of me) did everything with patience and care. In all, I was there for about 2 hours, and the time spent was nothing short of blissful. I will definitely be back! read more

I was extremely surprised by the care and attention in detail he put in, he explained every step and answered every question as it was my first time trying dipping powder, and he was overall very charismatic and knew how to entertain a conversation for the two hours it took to get my nails done. If you like to make appointments in advance with specific technicians, this is not the place for you. Four visits, all booked 5+ days in advance with a specific technician: First visit - sent me with someone other than who I booked with. I shrugged and completed appointment. Second visit - same thing, this time I said I wanted who I had made the appointment with. They left the person they were with and completed my appointment. Third visit - no issues. Fourth visit - I sat for 1/2hr past my appointment time. When someone finally came to talk to me, I was told that if I wanted the technician I had made the appointment with, it would be another 15-20 minutes. here's everything you need to know about this place: if you want an appointment don't bother, they'll take walk ins as they come and don't care for appointments, they rush everything and care more about time than quality. The place, by just looking at it, it is not cleaned often. The hot stones for the pedicures sit in a hot stone heater that is completely rusting, meaning the water in those stones are contaminated with rust. Most of the tools, including nail clippers, nippers, and cuticle pushers are all actively rusting as well. As for the employees, they are told to rush, the quicker the better, so they'll prioritize their time over the outcome of your nails, not to mention the options you have for getting your nails done aren't that many. Dip, gel, and regular, is all you'll be able to get, the designs don't vary much either. The skillset goes as far as a flower or a french. The owner himself will tell his employees to rush as much as possible, he does not care for anything other than how many clients he gets and how much money his business makes. Not just that he does not have any manners whatsoever, I don't even want to get into it, he burps loudly constantly and will not clean the place unless it's been a month or so. I would not recommend this place to anyone seriously. STAY AWAY!!!!! read more

I came here while visiting my brother in Boston over Labor Day weekend- thought it would be a good time to pamper myself. I got the hot stone pedicure and a fill. The pedicure was relaxing and soothing. It left my feet and legs feeling soft and moisturized. I am very happy with my gel fill nails. They are beautifully done and I can't stop looking at them. They paid great attention to detail which is important because hands are a noticeable part of your body that you look at everyday. I also checked out their website before stopping in, and it was very professional. The TV was pretty loud while I was there. I would suggest turning on subtitles, lowering the volume and playing some light spa music instead to relax clients. The bad: The waiting. I always make an appointment, hoping it will make a difference, but it never does. They take walk-ins as they come, so an appointment means absolutely nothing. I typically wait about a half hour. I've never been seated right away. And one time I waited about an hour because of "unexpected walk ins" (as I was told), despite my appointment. Do yourself a favor and just be a walk-in. Polish colors are ok. Average selection. OPI and Essie are both available here, which are usually my go tos. All in all, it's a good salon. Very clean, and they do a thorough job. Just be very prepared to wait. read more

The owner opened the nail salon specially on a Sunday afternoon to host my little sister's spa themed 10th birthday party! They set up a cake table, played musical chairs and did customized manicures and pedicures for all the little girls.
