If I could give 0 stars, I would. My husband and our two babies rented a small one bedroom apartment from Lina for $2295 per month. We had a signed lease agreement for 3 months (October to January). We ended up being kicked out the day before Thanksgiving. Allow me to elaborate. My husband had emergency appendix surgery and missed two weeks of work. We were short a paycheck as a result. We were working with a Veteran organization (as my husband is an Iraq War veteran) to get rent paid and had already been approved. It was due November 16, but our local AFW fronted the complex $250 and we gave them the last $50 from our bank account as a good faith gesture that rent was going to be paid by the monday following Thanksgiving. The veteran organization who had approved us for assistance reached out to Lina asking where the check needed to be sent and she refused the check. She would not wait for the check to arrive and instead told us and the organization representative on 11/19 that if we weren't out of our apartment by 11am 11/20 she would call the police and have us forcibly removed. The stress of impending homelessness lead to my husband having to be put on a psychiatric hold at the VA. I had to move myself, my two babies, and our things out of the apartment in less than 12 hours alone while my husband was in the hospital. That morning at 10:30, 30 minutes before we had to be out or police would be called, Lina called one of the other organizations we were working with and said she had decided overnight that she didn't want to kick anyone out over Thanksgiving and that she would wait for the check if she could get a promise to pay letter, which the original representative had already offered to do. She then called the organization representative a liar and said that she didn't mean she WOULD call the police, just that she was stating she had the right to and that she had done it before and that she didn't want to, but that she was running a business. I spent Thanksgiving alone in my friends apartment while he was out of town because this woman would not wait 3-5 days to get her check. Prior to this, Lina and her cleaning crew have mandatory inspections they do under the guise of weekly cleanings. You must vacate the apartment entirely and you must keep the place pristine or you will get a nasty phone call. You don't have the choice to say "Not this week, my husband had surgery" or "My kids are sick, we can't do this week". Lina told me verbatim "I can come into your apartment anytime I want. I just let you know as a courtesy." Nice, right? I pay $2295 to live in essentially a prison. There is no way to mechanically lock the door from the inside. There is a key pad that you punch your code into and that's how you get in. No deadbolts, no latches, no locks. So in theory, I could be bathing and Lina could decide to just waltz in and I have no say about it. She invaded our privacy constantly inspecting our apartment. She was condescending and rude. She illegally kicked us out. She caused my husband to have to go inpatient. She said horrible things about a CHARITY WORKER for disabled veterans! She cost us thousands of dollars in deposits, rent, and hotel stays. My husband lost his job. The entire ordeal was not even remotely worth having a place to stay. Boston Commons Executive Suites is bad news. Stay as far away as you possibly can. read more

My boyfriend and I checked into Boston Commons in dtc in Denver co. It has worst management I have ever experienced. We were treated beyond poorly the entire time we stayed there by the owners. In fact we were told to clean out our refrigerator when checking out. the front desk experience was amazing! all the saff was so super nice and helpful they all deserve to work at such a better place than Boston Commons. All of the agents were super helpful. our stay was basically very basic at best. While we were looking for a place to live we decided to stay at Boston Common and the owners are probably the rudest people I have ever experienced in the service industry period. We stayed in two different rooms our first room was moderately nice and it was supposed to be a brand new renovated room I felt like it was very very high priced for what we got, we wanted to extend our stay and we moved into the same price room that was actually the ugliest grossest room I've ever stayed in. The appliances were barely working and from the 1950s. the towel bar fell off the wall. ( it was taped on the wall) there was mold on the wood, beer cans behind our bed, and toys underneath our couch. Also the couch smelled like feet. The amenities that were advertized as working were not working the hot tub was broken the whole entire time the grill was also broken the whole entire time our stink handle fell off the bathroom sink. at checkout we got stopped and were told to clean out our refrigerator and basically clean our room!! out of all of hotels I've ever stayed at No one has ever said something like that I was flabbergasted after I had spent over 4500 dollars during my stay and was treated poorly!!! I would not recommend staying there. I would tell anyone to take your business to a hotel chain where you'll be treated the right way.!!!! read more

The suites at Boston Commons owned by Nadine is very rundown and filthy. As soon as you drive in you can see. The map sign in front is peeling off and has rotted posts. The parking is terrible because the spaces aren't striped. Then you check into one of her units that hasn't been updated since the 80s when the place was built. Very dirty, stained place. Then when you leave her a bad honest review, she says you must not have stayed with her. I don't recommend. read more

I didn't enjoy my experience this time because one of the rooms in our 2 bedroom didn't have curtains...as a result, The Kid wakes up 3 hours sooner than she would have. I stayed only one night, but actually liked the experience. I was arriving after the office closed, so they gave me a way of getting my key from a lock box. It really wasn't much of a bother at all. The hotel is laid out like an apartment complex and the rooms match that description as well. This is an extended-stay type of property. The room was clean and had all necessary features. It didn't feel skeezy like an Extended Stay America. It felt more like a slightly-upscale modern apartment. The clubhouse where breakfast is served is almost luxurious. The breakfast stuff was fresh and tasty (except for the fruit. The fruit was pretty much decorative). I would go back again for the right price. I think my rate was less than $50, so very hard to argue that I didn't get my money's worth. read more

We stayed here one night. We got in late but they accommodate for late check ins with a lock box. The room is really nice. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, plates, cups. The couch is a sofa bed but the couch was more comfortable to sleep on. There is also a bedroom in the room with a queen bed that is really comfortable. I have read the previous reviews but I really think this place has really turned it self around. We will be staying here again! read more

I think this place is a great value. It's one of the most inexpensive short and long term places around. The beds are crazy comfortable. I sleep like a rock here. The studios are slightly more spacious than a hotel room. Feels like a 3.5 star hotel, but a 1-2 star price. You can also get monthly rates for a great deal. Don't bother with the breakfast, definitely a weak point here, but that's not what most of us stay here for. Close to all DTC offices. read more

I'm disappointed that I need to write this review. I am renting a condo. Let's just start by saying I do like the apartment we are renting. However for 2000$ a month and this headache it is not worth it. I am not allowed to smoke in my unit, fine no problem. I have a Juleit balcony that I occasionally use and there is the outdoors!! So I would go outside to smoke. I'm going on my second month of being here. There are not many people around during the day time ( except elderly men and business men, but we will get to that part later). So yes I smoke outside. I smoke marijuana!! Big deal. It's Colorado, it's medicinal, and it's legal. I smoke marijuana for my petit mal seizure disorder I have had since I was a child. I have been severely disrespected by people here. I wish I knew who exactly was doing all this, but it's insane. Hurtful in a way, but more repulsive. I will admit I don't look sick I'm very beautiful. Lol more so than all the prostitutes working at this residence. Anyways one rainy day my boyfriend, my service dog, my boyfriends friend with a broken leg, and another couple that rents an apartment at this complex were out side our door by the steps next to an open area on the 2nd floor. It was poring rain so we were there smoking marijuana. Now I remind you we are not allowed to smoke inside. So we step outside as instructed. Right next to us is a giant cigarette ash tray. At somepoint with in the ten minutes we are out there a lady comes and asks us to move.. We apologize and move. We go downstairs by the entrance to the steps. Anywho... The next day my boyfriend and I get this email that isn't very nice.. Telling us we aren't allowed to smoke between buildings 5 & 6. Ugh what a joke. There are people out there smoking cigarettes very often. The email says 1st time is a warning 2nd time is a 100$ fine and 3rd time is eviction.. For what? Smoking my seizure medicine outside?! I was instructed to smoke in the dog area!! Excuse me?! I don't even take my dog over there. It's insanely small and it's a SHIT MINE! We pay 2000 a month and have no amenities!! One would think they wouldn't be so rude. So like 2-3 weeks go by and we haven't smoked outside our door since that once incident where the lady asked us to move.. We come home today to a big ugly sign right next to our door saying "no smoking". Are you effing kidding me?!?! The sign is ugly! Why would you want something so ugly to stand out?! Not to mention they left the cigarette ash trays all over and peoples half smoked cigarettes. If there is a problem with us, pick up the phone and call. Idk who put the sign there but that's just insane.. Honestly border line physco path. Marijuana is my seizure medicine! I've had this problem since I was like 7 years old. It's the only organic medicine they provide that doesn't make the patient worse. So back to the old men and business men and prostitutes!! There are so many!! Brunettes and blondes !!! I even went as far as finding the ads they have posted to verify my discoveries. But it's honestly insanely obvious all you have to do is sit outside for like 2 hours during a day they are working. Many many guys will go up to a room after sittingin their car playing on their phones for about 10mins.. But before they go upstairs to see the lady they ask you "where is building 6?" For example or building 4.. I always said idk te numbers are on the building.. But I am asked this just about every other day. Why would some random guy need to go to a hotel room or apartment if he doesn't even know where the correct building is? He will than come down 20 mins later and return to his car.. And than the cycle starts all over with another guy. Now idc do your thang girl.. But if I am being harassed and discriminated against for my medicine than I'm sure these escorts need to learn to be more discrete or something. There's also so much noise above me it's crazy! Especially last night. From 3-6 am people need to be quiet. To this day the cigarette ash trays are still there.. Wierd. read more

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 8 days. The front desk staff was very helpful but that's where it ends. They don't have housekeeping on weekends. Pool and gym are very weak to say the least. The walls are very thin so you here every conversation, flushed toilet, and shower around you. It's a weird complex because half the people live there long term in apartments and the other half are there for a quick night stay. I wouldn't recommend. read more

Probably one of the most bizarre hotel stays I have ever had. Not to say that it was bad, exactly. It is just that I did not see a single employee for the first 24 hours of my stay. I arrived after closing time so I had to retrieve my key from a safe, and the next morning, while the continental breakfast was hot and delicious, there was no one tending it. I finally saw someone in the lobby after I returned from a day of meetings, went to the desk and called out. Up until that point, I hadn't even given them an ID or credit card. But, nonetheless, the rooms were clean and nice. The food at the breakfast was good and the dining area clean. The place is located in an executive suites condo complex, so that was a bit different as well. My room was a typical hotel room, without a kitchenette. The building does not have elevators, so if you book a room on the 4th floor, you will be hauling your luggage up the stairs. I, personally, would rather use a Hilton or Embassy Suites in the future (both blocks away), but there was nothing wrong with this place. It just wasn't for me. read more

On July 3rd I booked two rooms for one night. This is the closest place to Fiddler on the Green and we were going to be passing through on a motorcycle vacation. On July 19th I received an email saying my reservations for August 8th were canceled. I called the reservation desk and was told they had overbooked and had to cancel. That evening I went to their website and saw they have instituted a two night minimum. I was then able to book a room for the 8th using any combination of two nights. So they lied about being booked. This is completely unethical and should be illegal. Do not book a room here unless you are prepared to have it taken away if they get a better offer. Off to the BBB's site! read more

Stayed here for 3 days. They advertise that they have free breakfast but they do not serve it on Sunday! HELLOOOO!!! Weekends are when people visiting stay in hotels! And also, they do not have room cleaning on weekends and their reception does not always have someone present. Room is ok. Don't expect too much from this hotel. Just so you know, breakfast on weekdays is from 6-9 am and Saturday it is from 6-10 am. Don't blame me if they change the timings. :D read more

It was a decent place to stay. It looks as though the rooms were converted from an old apartment complex. It's in the outskirts of Denver so the noise level wasn't bad. Really quiet actually. Everything was clean and cozy. So if you plan on staying longer than a day or 2 definitely stay here. read more

If it was possible to give this place a 0, I would. Let me start off by saying this is the WORST place I've ever stayed. The management is terrible! They charged my boyfriend and I 1500 to stay in a tiny dirty little studio "apt" for the month. Someone came to clean every Wed..but never cleaned the bathroom floors or the walkway when you walk inside. The carpet was sticky and there was old food behind our bed. They said no to my husky puppy staying there because he was too "large" but meanwhile they had huge dogs staying in that place that I would see being walked. Charged us two pet deposits for 2 rooms because all they want is money, it was completely absurd. Also had 2 sets of neighbors that were constantly fighting..one where glass was being thrown outside my door, I couldn't even leave when I had to..cops had to be called. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Bunch of scam artists. read more

Stay was as expected. Room was clean, bed was comfy.Nothing fancy but well worth the price. I most enjoyed the location and the straight forward approach of the staff and management. I also appreciated that this hotel was not 420 friendly. I have nothing against it but too many come to Colorado and have no idea of the laws. read more

Hotel is ok........ But the front desk was super sweet Leena made the experience great. She was so sweet and friendly and helpful. I wish every hotel had an amazing front desk attendant as her. On the other note if you sty her skip the breakfast th lady who runs it is completely rude and mean and the food minus the feral is horrible the eggs will make you sick and the lady glares at you and if u ask her a question she runs in the back and hides . Great and affordable place for an extend stay. I got a great deal to stay here for a week while I searched for apartments in Denver. I also liked that it was in a quiet location. The "Hotel" itself is nice enough. It's a very residential setting - Some of the condos have their owners living there. The Hotel rooms are either condos being rented out, or those that weren't sold in the first place. Management can be challenging! The surly manager hails from Russia, and features Cold War hospitality: If you don't like it, too bad! I chose this place for its advertised reliable internet connection - I teach Cloud Computing at the Denver Tech Center. My promised WiFi connections did not work, causing two of the worst days of my life. On day three of my six (!) day stay, I camped out in the Clubhouse that had reasonable WiFi until they booted me at 9:30 pm. Definitely not an ideal solution, as there was lots of noise and commotion, and not much room to spread out my manuals and binders. Their tech guy insisted that there was signal in my room, yet refused to return my calls, or show me where to find it. On day five, I was finally offered another room that had a decent WiFi connection, which I took, even though the carpets were still damp, perhaps from a recent cleaning. Bottom line: If you don't need internet connectivity, and can skirt management, it's a reasonably nice place to stay. The rooms have small fridges and microwaves, a desk, and some decent furniture. The 66 bus stops half a block away, with a quick ride to the train station. Otherwise, don't waste your time here. read more

My room was a no-frills experience. I got a bed, pillows, tv, and closet. It was clean. BUT. It truly was a no-frills setup: The coffee pot came with mugs and caffeinated coffee. No decaf. No sugar, creamer or stir sticks. In the bathroom, I found shampoo. No lotion, no conditioner. Ok. I didn't pay much, so this is fine. However, there are details that are unfinished, which makes the place feel cheap. In the bathroom, tile squares were glued to the front of the vanity to update it, but they were not grouted. The floors need floor boards for a finished look. The shower head was industrial size and could not be adjusted. The sink had a nick in it and that was rusting. In the bedroom, the mini fridge was very old and hidden behind an old cabinet door. The microwave was also hidden behind an old cabinet door. The coffee pot was across the room, far from the water source. These are little things that could be fixed at a low cost. Then their marketing and the experience of the place might match up more closely. "The hotel you come home to" ? No. Not really. Too bad. I'd rather pay more, frankly, and stay somewhere else. read more

Boston Commons was originally built as an extended stay hotel in the late 1980s. Over time the units were privatized and are run today by several different owners, each of whom may own just one, or over 10 each. Only reviews written in 2016 onward would reflect the new make up of the complex, which caters primarily to the needs of folks in between housing, or on contract and not wanting to stay in a hotel room. Our condos are fully furnished, with utilities, WiFi, expanded HD cable w/HBO and include a washer and dryer. They are tastefully decorated and located in the Denver Tech Center, which gives easy access to everywhere and everything. I stayed for 6 months in this facility when I arrived in Denver, and loved it! read more

Just amazing. Let me start off with that I have never nor my girlfriend have ever done a yelp review but we are avid yelp app users. Short story, my girlfriend is a travel nurse and we are traveling the USA before settling down. Before coming to Denver we were in Boston. Could not find ANYTHING in Denver and almost got scammed $1600 for an apartment while trying to find a place to live here in Denver. Luckily we didn't get scammed by some Craigslist hustler. ALL I have to say is contact Lina! We were on our way here driving across country and pretty much about to stay at a hotel until we found a place and let me tell you. This woman was NOT having it. We told her the area we were most likely going to move to due to our budget, and she passed by there that night. She called us in the morning saying she wouldn't allow it because it was a sketchy neighborhood. She moved mountains to make sure we had a place to stay. I can not put into words how much she makes sure we are happy and makes sure we are comfortable. We have been here for a month and now have to move into another unit because our contract agreement. But now that we have to move to a new unit, which is supposed to be smaller than our current apartment, she moved even more mountains to make sure we don't downgrade into a different apartment. She worked miracles with our budget. Other than her being so amazing, the complex is ALWAYS clean, the streets are ALWAYS plowed now during winter, and there is literally everything we need here. So long story short ALWAYS speak to her and also don't ever hesitate to stay or live here. We are leaving in a couple of months to Seattle and wish there is a place like this or even more a Lina to make sure we are happy. read more

We rented from Nadine, a one bedroom, one bath unit for five weeks since we needed to be in the area for medical treatment. She was very accommodating making sure we were assigned a unit that had a king bed. We loved our unit and almost felt like we were leaving home when we left. It was comfortable, clean, tastefully furnished and had everything we needed. Renting this way is more like a vacation rental than hotel...no maid service, etc. but you have everything you need to be comfortable including a washer/ dryer, extra linens, fully equipped kitchen, and luxury bedding. Yes you can hear the occasional door slam but considering you are in the DTC it is very quiet, no sirens or traffic noises and we slept with windows open . During our stay we needed a separate room for our visiting children and Nadine was again very helpful. I've read other reviews and quite frankly wonder where they came up with some of their observations. If you need a nice place to stay long term in this area I'd highly recommend talking to Nadine. read more
