While I didn't sleep over, I did visit my daughter who was staying at this hotel for several days. The hotel is conveniently located near shops, restaurants, and park. Timed street parking and parking garages are available. The hotel is tastefully decorated with modern decor. The rooms are spacious, clean, and the bathroom includes amenities and bath robes. The staff were extra nice and helpful. There is a restaurant and comfortable lounge. We took advantage of the free use of bikes and helmets offered to guests and were able to go biking to the local park. Overall had a great experience!

Fantastic location. Within minutes from shopping, entertainment and amazing local/regional dishes. Exceptional customer service. Give them a try.

Great hotel in a beautiful neighborhood! It's pricey, but it's worth it. Their rooms are really comfortable and perfectly outfitted with everything you could ever want or need. Their rooftop pool was amazing. We rented a cabana and were so happy with the service. Overall, a great experience and looking forward to going back!

Did a little staycation here at the beginning of summer and it was the perfect way to celebrate the cold weather (almost) being over. Love the rooms and the rooftop pool. Local jones and Rarebird are always a good time as well.

We had the best time staying at the Halcyon while in Denver and would certainly stay here again whenever we are back in town. This beautiful boutique hotel was in the heart of Cherry Creek which made it very walkable to local shopping, art galleries and amazing restaurants. All the amenities made it simple to truly explore the area. The entire staff were friendly and super helpful! Pro tips: * Upgrade to a balcony room. More secluded area and the balcony was as large as our room! Wonderful way to enjoy the sunrise. * Wellness pass was included with our stay. I utilized it to take a class at the nearby Barre 3 and Soul Cycle. * Gear rental was also included. I borrowed the Piaggio scooter to get to my Barre 3 class, explored the cute neighborhood, and stopped by SummerHome Garden, a neighborhood pocket garden. They also have bicycles and a unicycle! * Complimentary craft coffee/lattes/cappucino and delicious muffins made by their in house baker. The carrot muffin was one of the best I've ever had! * Private car transportation within a 3 mile radius. I utilized this to go to the Denver Art Museum and Denver Zoo. Bring cash to tip your driver! * Beautiful roof deck with pool and hot tub (too cold during this visit but maybe next time) * Adjacent restaurants include Quality Italian (delicious meal!) and Local Jones (didn't get a chance to eat here but they had a DJ playing some amazing music when we wandered by)

When a friend texted me asking what I was doing for New Years I thought...maybe they want to do a couples trip.... Welp they invited themselves to visit us in lovely Denver. I gave them 4 Cherry Creek Hotels to stay ( and yes friends do not stay at my abode...ever!!). They decided on Halcyon and it was a great choice: From location ( a mere three blocks from my home), service, and amenities....Halycon cannot be beat. Halcyon is smack dab in our beloved Cherry Creek....shopping, dinning drinking oh my!! The first night we sauntered over to Sol for drinks and a light meal. The Service here is superb! From the front desk, Valet, and service providers everyone was friendly and top notch. Roof top pool with stunning views. Skating rink in the winter. Two wonderful restaurants: Local Jones & Quality Italian. The amazing hidden speakeasy B&GC....ask the front desk! And you have an amazing stay. My friends were thoroughly delighted and will be coming back in the summer. Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed my stay here in late September and I would dare to say it was in the top 5 hotels I've stayed at for business or pleasure! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with exceptional service. The front desk staff allowed me to check in early and waved the fee, updating me to a bit larger room. They have two restaurant onsite and a rooftop bar/pool. Room itself was large and gorgeous- on the 7th floor you have high ceilings and it takes a bit longer to cool. Tons of nice touches- coffee maker, yoga stuff, record player, nice desk and couch, Juliet balcony, and nice robes. Beds and pillows were so comfy. You can hear a bit of sound from the hallway but the spot isn't a party spot so shouldn't be too much of an issue. Bathroom has gorgeous products, robes were comfy, and they actually use hand soap instead of forcing you to use the bar soap. Bathroom was spacious too and so was the shower. Front desk provides free coffee like espresso or pumpkin spice lattes; they also have breakfast muffins. Free happy hour too with beer and wine which was great. Would love to spend another trip here!

Lovely stay at this boutique hotel. I loved all the little touches. +Great location. Walking distance to Whole Foods, Starbucks and many great shops and restaurants including truefoods. +Lovely little touches throughout the property. +Filtered, hot or sparkling water access points on each floor. Cute milk jugs to keep water in your room. +cute door mats and info pockets outside each room +Records and record players in each room +coffee and wine served at the front desk +The rooms felt large and spacious. +Appreciated the long bench to hold my luggage. +yoga mat and block in each room +Cocktail set up +chef makes amazing gluten free blueberry muffins. +Yummy dinners catered by the chef for our group meeting. While I didn't get to use or explore the gear garage I would love to come back and visit again! Only a few things missing- a clock in the room, usb ports and Marriott points. And white noise would be amazing.....

The location really can't be beat. You're right in the heart of LoDo. Coors Field is a few blocks from the hotel and Union Station (which connects directly to Denver Airport) is only about a 5 minute walk away. Tons of restaurants, bars, and things to do are all within walking distance, which makes it extremely convenient. When booking, I asked for a high floor, quiet room so I could work. Upon check-in, they honored that request and also upgraded my room from a Journeyman to an Innovator Suite which I greatly appreciated. That upgrade definitely elevated the stay! The Innovator Suite was fantastic. It had two queen beds, two TVs, a full sofa, wet bar, dining table, flexible workspace, and city views overlooking Denver's LoDo District. The bathroom had a large soaking tub, which I had to take advantage off. There's no balcony and while the wet bar includes a small fridge, it's not really functional for anything beyond drinks as there's no space for leftovers or larger items. You also get a token per night to redeem for a free drink at the bar during happy hour, plus free drip coffee in the mornings. Other perks include free churros during social hour, a courtesy car service within a 2 mile radius, and discounts at various shops. There's also a fitness center, although I didn't use it. There were some things missing though: no pool, no spa, housekeeping is by request only, and no breakfast included. Service throughout was excellent. There's 24 hour front desk service and everyone I interacted with was cheerful, helpful, and kind. Overall, a strong stay with great service, a fantastic room upgrade, and an excellent location, even if a few expected amenities were missing for the price. If I had to come back to Denver and the company was covering the bill, I would stay again. The location really can't be beat. If I were coming for a leisure trip with a similar budget, I'd probably look for a hotel with a pool and spa instead. This hotel is best suited for people who want to experience LoDo nightlife, catch a game, or just be right in the middle of everything downtown. The room I was upgraded to was probably much more expensive than what I actually paid, which definitely improved the experience. I'm not sure I would feel the same way if I had stayed in the original room I booked. 4.5 stars rounded down.

The hotel is within walking distance (about 10-15 minutes) of most downtown attractions, including bars, restaurants, and Coors Field. Anything farther was just a short car ride away. We also checked out the gym during our stay, which was bigger than expected and had a good mix of cardio machines and free weights. Breakfast is served daily, it's supposed to be until 10, I would leave to drop my son off and be back at 0945 and daily they would be cleaning out the food options. The food was hot or miss with quality, and sometimes there were apples or sometimes bananas, nothing consistent. The first 5 days the cereal was Cheerios and labeled gluten free, the other container had lucky charms and was labeled as Chex gluten free. Thank goodness my child knew that it was lucky charms and indeed gluten. The internet was spotty, I was working from the premises the entire time and often had to use my own hotspot. The washing machine for guest use requires quarters, which you have to buy from the front desk with cash. Two times the washer broke during use and I had to bag soaking wet clothes to hand over to maintenance to take to be washed. There is only one washer and dryer. Very disappointing for a long length of stay. Also in the age of technology there are several hotels that laundry is managed with an app, allowing me to pay via app and see how much long is left and if the machines are available. There is a lack of trash receptacles in the hotel. There are none on each floor by the elevator. Myself as well as others on our floor would leave a bag of trash outside of our room daily as we don't want our room to smell like the food we ate all day/night. On our first full day here we took it down to look for a trash can and the one outside the front doors where people unload their vehicle was overflowing, we noted this multiple days of our stay. Housekeeping were friendly in the halls, they service rooms once every 3 days. Since I was working in the room and I kept the room clean we used the sign on the door to opt to have them come when we were ready. If I saw them in the halls it was easy to get trash bags, towels and cups. One day we requested service and sat in the lobby working all day and they never came by. Keep in mind it's a refresh, our bed was already made and we keep our room clean, I just wanted a tidy of the bathroom counter, towels etc. I had to reach out to the front desk to ask around 415 for service but it needed to be quick because we were coming back to the room. They were able to oblige and serviced it quickly. The refrigerators are very small and not cold, perhaps an option in some rooms for people with lengthier stays to have a larger refrigerator and freezer options. We couldn't purchase any frozen items for our lengthy stay with only a small fridge. The location is nice, easy to get to anywhere on campus or to the downtown area, performing arts area etc. several Ubers are often in the area for further driving needs. Over all of we came to Denver for a long stay I might consider staying here but would look at options with better amenities for food and wash. For a short stay it would meet my needs.

The services were available but were not actively proffered. On the other hand, their spa was utterly fantastic! The hotel food was lackluster and focused on steak over anything else. They had other types of food, obviously, but steak was in plentiful abundance over anything. The housekeeping staff was amazing and on top of their game. The room quality was very good and spacious; larger than most hotels' suites. The in-room bar and mini-fridge were not free despite being labeled an "honor bar." I'm not cheap; I have no issue paying. My issue is the deceptive marketing of the so-called honor bar. The room's furniture was not cheap, but it did appear tacky with the illusion of being of quality. On the positive side, the staff were polite and attentive, and the room was cleaned while I was out. The view was also very impressive. Overall, with all things considered, I'd pick a different hotel; there are better hotels in the immediate area with a lower price tag and the spa is not worth it, despite its attentive and fantastic service. Unfortunately, I found that piece to be lacking as well. Front desk, food and beverage, and spa staff left something to be desired. That said, the bell staff and valets were extremely friendly and helpful. The location of the property is fine - walkable to some local attractions, but there isn't much in the immediate area. Elway's was a disastrous experience deserving of its own review. If you're looking for a nice hotel in Denver, Hotel Clio and Hotel Arts would both be on my list before this place.
