Everyone we talked to prior to our appointment and on the day of, was very friendly. The issue we had was with our dentist. She was so unprofessional from the way that she spoke to us, to the way that she was dressed. She did both of our examinations in what I can only describe as a party dress. Maybe she was going somewhere immediately after, but not what I would expect. But even more concerning is her examinations. She told me that she was going to clean my teeth but would only do half of it, and that I needed to schedule a second appointment within a week to do a "deep clean". I am 45 and have NEVER had a cavity. So I was shocked that my teeth would be that bad. She said the same thing to my wife and also told my wife that she had 6 cavities!!! We left feeling confused and unsure about this dentist. The next day my wife called to see if we can get a copy of our records and the X-rays. They NEVER followed up with us. We waited on this review until we could verify and get a second opinion. Our insurance would not cover another check up until 6 months later, so we finally got confirmation from our new dentist...which we loved!! No cavities for either of us, and a normal cleaning. Another one of his staff said I probably "chew too much on that side of my mouth". First consultation and I'm met with a lady after who parks me in a side room with a consultation. Prior to this the dental hygienist repeatedly told me "we won't sell you on anything you don't need." After the preliminary x-rays the hygienist went in to look at my gums. You know when they throw a number for root planing this guy was throwing up 4s, 5s, and 6s in milliseconds. All of a sudden I have horrible gum disease I never thought I had. The lady giving me a "dental plan" of $2000+ after insurance was telling me of how many state of the art laser interrogations I needed that insurance wouldn't cover at all. Fast forward to my dental cleaning. Btw I have to pay out of pocket a significant amount bc "I have gum disease now". They numbed me up so bad I couldn't go back into work. I had 2 sessions of periodontal scaling and root planing. The first lasted 30 minutes. The second lasted 15 minutes. These should have gone for an hour and a half. I went to a new dentist who told me none of what this dentist stated was accurate. This Origin Dentist after my first visit asked me to write a 5 star review. I can't believe how many chumps are going to write 5 star reviews because of the hip music and reed diffusers make them feel like this is a good honest dentist when clearly there's very little integrity here. Worst dentist I've ever gone to.
