Not knowing what to expect, I was surprised how vast this lounge was! Definitely a quiet respite…read morefrom the hustle and bustle of the food court and waiting areas. There are a ton of spots to sit at (table, bar, sofas, individual seats) and clean restrooms inside as well. While the food isn't amazing, it's enough to satisfy. There are buffet items like cucumber and carrots slices, make your own chilaquiles (sauce is watered down), eggs and hotdogs (yes, together), fruit, and small Mexican cookies. And the waiters walking around will hand out a small menu card for items one can order fresh. From walking around and seeing other people's picks, the fajita chicken seems the most appetizing. It's definitely a healthier tasting option (lightly seasoned, grilled onions and peppers, and white rice), and the sautéed vegetables delivered with lightly seasoned zucchini, carrots, and eggplant. The pasta dishes looked reminiscent of cafeteria boiled pasta with a spoonful of canned tomato sauce on top, and the tuna sandwiches looked very underwhelming. Our server was really hardworking and made his rounds often, checking up on everyone. Don't forget to bring some cash to tip the waiter :) I wished there was a place to refill water glasses instead of waiting for or having to flag down someone though. Again, come with very low expectations for the food, but enjoy a comfortable and quiet place to wait for the flight!

It's almost 2 pm and there's leftover soup of some kind, no label to tell you what it is. There's an empty bowl where sour cream on e lived and a few shreds of what look like cheese in a bowl next to that...and two lovely bowls of old tortilla chips. Oh, you do get an option of some refried beans, green or red salsa....but even the green salsa is nearly gone. There ARE some sliced carrots and celery, and what I think are sliced beets. That's it. That's the food in the "designated food area" No fresh meats, no fresh veggies, no salads, no fresh desserts, nuts, yogurt, or fresh fruit. It's a barren wasteland of food possibilities but not probabilities. You can, should you choose, to ask a waiter (if you can find one) for a "menu," a small pocket sized , laminated card with about 4 options for "food" and by that I mean hot dog, vegetables, ham and turkey sandwich, and a chicken fajita (that had two pieces of pepper, and a chicken that looked like it had been cooked last week. I'm not sure who decided that this was quality food and drink enough to be called a VIP lounge, but it's not even close to what you can get at STK (which is sad, because you EXPECT more from from Priority Pass) Well, may the odds be ever in your favor if you come here. Other than free rail drinks (nothing top shelf) this place doesn't offer much. I'll not be giving my patronage to this place again, if this is the kind of VIP "service" you receive.

There is a cute little boutique bus when you pull up you can shop at. As you walk through the jungle on a beautiful cement path there are tree houses/rooms. As you walk up to ACRE it has a very grand beautiful entrance with staff greeting you and ready to seat you. The service was wonderful and the the food was divine. We ordered the bread balls and crispy rice to start. The crispy rice was my favorite! We had steak as our main with fries and sweet Potato. I would suggest trying the fish, our neighbors ordered it and it looked delicious (also confirmed very tasty!). We had the green margarita, wine, espresso martini and an affogato for dessert. Everything including the service was exceptional. I would definitely recommend this place for small or large parties.

The grounds are stunning -- peaceful, lush, and effortlessly cool -- with the perfect balance of elevated resort vibes and warmth. What makes it even more special is that Acre also operates an animal rescue, helping save dogs from the streets and even arranging adoptions around the world. We legitimately almost adopted one while we were there. The entire culinary concept is organic farm-to-table, and you can truly taste the difference in every dish. Everything felt intentional, fresh, and incredibly well executed. Food highlights: - The mixed beet salad was hands down the best beet salad I've ever had in my life. - The crispy rice bites are a must order. - The catch-of-the-day ceviche with soaked jicama and green apple was phenomenal and one of the most unique, well-balanced ceviche preparations I've ever had. - Steak tacos were fantastic. - The tomato tartare with fresh and sun-dried tomatoes, light aioli, and crackers completely surprised us -- insanely flavorful and memorable. Cocktails were equally impressive: - Sips & Beets (my fav. I love beets & I love mezcal. Didn't think they would go, but had to try. It's outstanding!) - Margarita independente was my other fav - Guayabita - Espresso martini made with tequila And beyond the food, the hospitality was next level. Executive Chef David personally stopped by our table, chatted with us, and after noticing me taking photos, gifted me one of the dried decorative corns from the property. Such a thoughtful, genuine touch that perfectly reflects the spirit of Acre. This was one of those rare dining experiences that feels magical from beginning to end. We'll absolutely be back (this will become a spot we visit every trip to cabo!)
