"Excuse me?!?!?" I said " I can't believe I paid this much for two pairs of glasses and your giving me hard time about tightening the frames." They treat you like an income source instead of a patient…read more Being new in town, I went here for an eye exam, and was charged over $50 extra out of pocket to receive a prescription renewal for contacts "because we can't bill your insurance for that". My insurance did cover the eye exam. No other opthamologist I have seen in the last 30 years has ever done that. It took the doctor all of a minute to write the contacts prescription in addition to my eyeglasses prescription. There was no separate exam or anything like that. When I questioned it, I was told that is the policy of the office. I'll be traveling the 20 miles back to my old doctor next year!
