For example if you go to the Burlington or Natick Massachusetts stores the hungry designers will almost chase you out with torches & pitchforks. I have moved a lot because I'm a hobbyist flipper and that means I'm cheap but I buy a lot. What a pleasant surprise that the staff at the Bedford New Hampshire store let me treasure hunt and find this awesome chandelier!! The logistics manager Dean showed me that its paperwork shows that it used to be a display in the old, closed down Ethan Allen that is literally over the town line on the street I live on. I guess it wanted to come home. The designer Verlie was very nice to me and didn't make me feel like a scavenger for discount shopping. The Ethan Allen company could learn a lot from this location.

I've stopped in a few times and found some interesting albeit overpriced items and the people who work here could not be less helpful - let alone welcoming. And mind you I'm not asking for help just to check out. Their bad attitudes actually surpass the ridiculous prices other people have mentioned. And the amazing thing is it doesn't matter who is working - they all have the same lousy attitude toward customers. It must be part of the employee training. I was extremely hesitant to go to this store after reading the other reviews saying the salespeople were terrible, there were issues with this and that, and all sorts of other things. I am SO glad we went anyway; we had the best experience! Thom O'Donnell worked with us the whole time and was WONDERFUL! He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, didn't push anything on us, and gave us the perfect balance between space to browse and attention for information. He was fast, efficient, and accurate in everything he did, and so pleasant and friendly the whole time! My boyfriend and I were so pleased with what we saw at the store and our experience, that we decided to get a dining room table and chairs set as well as the couch which we ended up loving. Thom got us all set up with our pieces to be delivered and assembled at our apartment in Stoneham, and he was very thorough with telling us the whole process. We could easily tell that he wasn't trying to pull the wool over our eyes or trick us into doing or buying anything we didn't want. I will update this review when our furniture is delivered and share how that goes. They greet you when you come in, okay that's nice, but as you walk around the store, they keep popping up at weird times, and in weird places. Asking questions, asking what you like, interrupting my husband and I several times. It almost reminded me of an escape room experience. We were close to making a purchase, but the people were so annoying that we left and went to another store instead.
