I booked a 4am reservation for a car to pick me up in Wayland and take me to Logan Airport. At 4:15am, I called to find out where the car was. No one answered the comoany's "24 hour hotline." I left a message and never heard back. I drove myself to the airport, but not surprisingly, missed my flight. The next available flight to my destination was not until the next day. I paid the $150 change fee, plus an incremental $310 to the airline (because the fare had increased.) Shockingly, I never heard back from Boston Limousine. A few hours later I called and was told that "the driver was in a car accident" on the way to my home. For some reason, no one thought to call me or send another car. The woman on the phone was incomprehensively rude considering that her company's ineptness had caused me to miss the first day of my vacation and cost me nearly $500 in incremental airfare. Not only did the company flatly refuse to compensate me for my losses, it wouldn't even provide car service for my new flight, claiming no drivers were available. (Although to be fair, I probably would have refused.) I spent some of today's "newly found" time researching Boston Limousine. I wish I had done so before I trusted this company with my business. The number of negative reviews on Yelp and other websites is mind boggling. I am shocked they are still in business. Don't be fooled by the company's nice looking website or the professional confirmation email you will receive after making a reservation. DO NOT USE BOSTON LIMzoUSINE! It is not safe - do not use this service! Was picked up at Boston logan last night en route to NH. A police officer pulled the car over in Wyndham NH due to a broken tail light. It turns out that the driver was operating under a suspended license. He was ordered to appear in court and cease driving. I was left on the side of the road late at night until I could get my family to pick me up. When I called Boston Limo last night to report it they did not answer the phone. I could not get anyone on the phone until after 9 the next morning. When I spoke to Raina in the office this morning I was told to send her an email about the experience and she would send it to management. No offer was made for a manager to call me. I asked to be reimbursed for the charges and she told me that they probably wouldn't reimburse for the entire trip because I got part way home! read more

BostonLimosine.com is one of the worst limo services I have ever used. I used this company to provide transportation to and from a concert. I booked it over the phone and when I asked for a total for the whole night I was given a very reasonable rate so I booked it right away and I checked my credit card statement to make sure I was charged the correct amount. At the end of the night the driver handed me my receipt and the total was 200 dollars higher than I had been told on the phone. When I asked about this the driver said I would have to deal with customer service. Talking to their customer service rep was terrible. She was incredibly rude, disrespectful, and actually a pretty big jerk. This company clearly knows nothing about how to treat customers well. Apart from the driver who was very nice (despite the fact that when we arrived at the limo at our pickup time he left for about fifteen mins to run across the street and get a coffee) the service had no redeeming qualities. The interior was ripped to pieces and none of the controls worked properly. If they try and trick you into booking this company by promising you a low price just know it's a lie and don't get fooled like I did. I will never use BostonLimousine.com services ever again. And would certainly NEVER recommend this service to others. Pick up was late (by the way it was 0 degrees out). I had to argue w/the driver to pick up us up @ the CORRECT terminal/gate we were directed to be at for the pick up by reservations. Agreement Copy/Receipt states fare price "Plus 20% Service Fee and Tolls". When in reality we were charged 45% in total over base fare. DO NOT USE. ANGRY AT THEM FOR TACKING ON FEES. I booked a stretch limo to take my staff out to dinner downtown. I inadvertently gave the driver a different credit card upon arrival than I had used to book the trip with. At the end of the trip, I noticed a 10% fee. I asked the driver. He says "surcharge for "switching cards". I didn't mean to switch the card and didn't know I couldn't. I gave him the original card I booked with. Even though he had the original card, he said it's too late, I needed to give it to him at the start and now i have to pay the fee. I never heard a word of this and it's not in the contract. Ok now I'm getting pissed. I make him call his company. They don't answer. He calls them many times, he keeps talking to someone there in a foreign language, but then says they didn't answer. And they are the only ones that can remove that 10% fee. We are talking $70 out of $700 here, it's midnight, and I'm not disputing $630 of it. And he is holding the credit card in his hand that I booked the trip with. I tell him I'll pay cash. How can I get a fee for "switching cards" when I'll pay in cash and he has both cards? Arggh. So he tries another tack to get the extra $70 scam fee... Now he starts crying about how its his first day on the job, a few minutes later he's whining about being a full time student, then he says just came to this country, now he has 4 kids. He just wants me to pay the bill. I'm smelling scam big time, I've heard this story before. So I dig in, not paying it. I'll pay $630 not $700 I didn't switch the card. I'll pay $630 cash. Nope. He says if I don't sign the bill he is calling the cops. I call his bluff, he calls the cops. Cop shows up, now I'm really mad. Cop doesn't know what to do, but he isnt helpful at all. He says's I can't just not pay the bill, that's "Fare Evasion". It's 1am now. Cop recommends I sign and deal with it tomorrow. So I sign with the word "dispute" and now I'm fighting it through Amex. If I lose, I'd take them to court out of principle, but it's just $70. BTW I see now that in the breakdown from AMEX that they have billed me for the hour I spent arguing with the driver. Ridiculous. BTW the gas surcharge was $40 (although we only drove about 10 miles) and the 20% tip is mandatory. These I knew about when I booked, but there is also a $20 fee for stopping on the way to the restaurant i wasnt aware of. I bet they have a bunch of "transaction fees" like this they just tack onto the bill. At the end of the night most people don't notice, or dont want to fight about, or just let their company pay.. If you dispute them, this company will lie and argue with you, make up sob stories, and threaten to call the cops. Anything to get your money. Maybe Yelp will get the word out, this is my first post. Anyways, unless you want to dispute a bunch of tacked on fees on your bill, then fight them tooth and nail about it, stay away! read more

I have been using Boston Limo for years now and they continue to provide fantastic service. I use them virtually every time I have to head to Logan. The drivers are courteous, careful and very professional. The cars are well equipped. They are always timely. But what sets them apart for me: on one trip, I messed up royally, giving the wrong flight and time. None of noticed until the day of the flight. They identified the issue, got in touch with me, sorted it all out, and were there waiting for us when we landed - all with a smile and gracious thanks. read more

WARNING **DO NOT USE BOSTON LIMOUSINE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES** With no question, BOSTON LIMOUSINE has the poorest quality vehicle (no working AC and a broken back window), horrific customer service, appalling operations and most of all, BOSTON LIMOUSINES defines APATHY...this should not sit right with a company in the "service" industry. To provide some insight into my and 7 others terrible experience, here is the story of an amazingly planned night out in Boston for 8 slaughtered by BOSTON LIMOUSINE. The night started with the limo arriving 30 minutes late. We were understanding and still enthusiastic about our night on the town. However, this caused us to miss our reservation at the Chart House downtown on the Wharf and as a result we had to wait another hour to get seated. So our night was supposed to start at 7:00pm, dinner at 7:30 and then around 8:45 start out night on the town...but we were not out of dinner until 10pm. Thinking the worst was behind us after being picked up late and waiting an hour on getting seated we enjoyed our dinner only to find out when we called for the limo to pick us up that the engine was overheating and not holding pressure. The limo arrived late to pick us up from dinner and we had to wait additional time while the driver filled the car with water. He said he could keep it running so we changed our entire plans for the night to stay in a close proximity so that we would not end up stranded on the side of the road. The AC didn't work meanwhile and the back left window did not work, turning our luxury limo experience into a sauna/steam room..mind you we are all dressed up and its July in Boston....not very comfortable... I spent an hour trying to get another car sent over, but they had nothing to offer but a regular sized small SUV...not large enough for our party...and surely I didn't spend money on an a limousine to have an Expedition drive me around town ...after placing many calls not once did I never receive a call from anyone that night trying to make things right, apologize, offer something to help alleviate the cluster F*&K of a situation they had gotten us into, but also never received a call to apologize and make things right the following days. I have called 14 times since Saturday night (today is Monday 3 days later). I have not received word whether or not they will comp the night or attempt to do anything after screwing up a surprise birthday party and big night out on the town. Company's like this should not be allowed to be in the service business and they should not be allowed to take people's money. I encourage any other people who have had this type of experience to speak up and not let BOSTON LIMOUSINE continue practicing bad business. read more

I had a confirmed reservation (complete with email from the company). I checked and double checked that all flight information was correct. They charged my credit card but did not show up. I was stranded at Logan at midnight. I had taken the time to make arrangements for transportation service well in advance as I knew we would have a long travel day and did not want to be dealing with shuttle to parking lot/taxi stand/etc with luggage late at night. Unfortunately, they did not show up and no one was answering the telephone to resolve the situation. They did not bother to call the next morning either despite the multiple messages that I had left for them overnight. When I called them for an explanation, they explained that they would be happy to give me a refund (for the service that I did not receive). I DO NOT recommend this company. I was flying from UK into Boston and had reserved a car to meet me at Logan and get me to Framingham, all paid online. I had a reservation confirmation with ref numbers and instructions on how to find the driver when I landed. Actually what happened when I landed in Boston was I got a lousy email from their "customer service" address (ha ha ha) saying "Unfortunetly we do not have any cars available today." Spelling errors, no apology, that's your lot. The icing on the cake was the email sign off which says "Enjoy the ride". Totally unreliable, illiterate, rude, thoughtless and don't touch them with a bargepole. What a useless outfit. read more

I used this company to surprise my mother with a limo ride for her birthday along with 8 of her friends. The driver was friendly and showed up on time but that is about the only nice thing I can say about this company. The driver clearly knew there was something wrong with the limo before he even picked us up. He knew there was something wrong with the alternator. The limo ended up breaking down and we were stuck on the side of the road FOR OVER AN HOUR. We got to our destination about an hour and a half late and had to rush the rest of the night. The driver then told me they "compt" 2 hours! It is almost impossible to get in touch with a manager as I have called many times and still have yet to speak to anyone but a "customer service rep". The service rep told me she flagged my account - don't you think good customer service means a manager would follow up a flagged account??? Since then I have heard other bad reviews about this company. Never again will I be using Boston Limousine for any of my transportation needs. read more
