PART ONE I was concerned about flying into Boston Logan during a major weather alert for Boston so I contacted a few car services in the area prior my trip this week. Within a few minutes of requesting a quote from ATR, during the middle of the night by the way, John the Operations Director of the company, answered all my texts promptly and booked my reservation. If there's one thing I consider myself an expert at it's traveling and finding the best services, hotels and airlines to not just use but frequent. I was so nervous about my trip to the greater Boston region because of the travel alerts of a snow storm that finding the most reliable and safe service to use was my top priority. Thank goodness. Thank goodness. And one more time, thanks goodness that I got connected with John. Not only did I easily book my airport transport with him to pick me up from Boston Logan but he was able to provide me transportation all the way to Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This of course during a slippery, slidey snow day. When I arrived in Boston the plane was stuck on the runway for about 30+ minutes and then when I got down to the baggage area that too was delayed. All along the way, from when I arrived to when he picked me up John and I kept in communication via text. I kept him updated about the delays and he kept assuring me that he would be there to pick me up when I finally got my luggage. As a woman traveler who's travelled all over the world, finding a reliable and safe form of transportation is a necessity as I usually travel alone and frequently arrive and travel during the red eye time periods. When I finally got my luggage John directed me to which door to go through and one cross walk later, there he was. Dressed beautifully in a suit jacket and tie and with a friendly smile, John took my bag and opened the door into a beautiful and spotless clean Lexus. I was so relieved and thankful because while I was picking up my luggage there were loads of people that didn't have transportation that night because there were a lack of Ubers in the area due the snow storm. It was snowing like crazy and the roads were slick and surely, safely and slowly John drove me to Portsmouth, New Hampshire were my meeting was scheduled for the next day. While I was on pins and needles the entire way to New Hampshire because of the snow storm, John kept his eyes on the road, entertained me with Bostonians do's and dont's and skillfully and carefully maneuvered us through the snow and ice. I arrived at the hotel in New Hampshire nice and safe and ready for the next day. PART TWO I was in Portsmouth for a few days and was so thrilled with the service and care I received that, I booked a round trip back from Portsmouth to Boston Logan. On this round, John texted me the day before and told me that Jay his best driver would be picking me up. Paranoid that I would be stuck in Portsmouth with no way to get back I asked John for Jay's number so I could confirm he would be coming. John texted back Jay's number and within a few minutes, I was confirming with Jay that he would get me at 7:30 AM the next morning. As a world traveler you always have to be prepared and to also double check your itinerary especially since I knew I was on an over sold flight back to Phoenix. Getting to the airport on time was a priority for me and since Boston can sometimes be traffic challenged, I was all about being on time. This morning as I was checking out of my hotel, 30 minutes before pick up time Jay texted me and told me he was already in the area. WHEW! Yipee! A car service and team that meets exactly what I'm looking for. Jay came into the hotel, picked me up, whisked me off into a shiny, clean Suburban and voila off to Boston we went. Jay like John was the ultimate professional, as former Marriott corporate executive he knew how to deliver exceptional customer service. Jay was friendly, conversational and I truly enjoyed what seemed like a short ride from Portsmouth, New Hampshire to Boston Logan. We used ATR limo for our wedding on 8/14/10. I wanted a limo and a bus to shuttle our guest's...and to make life easier I want to book it through the same place. I found ATR Limo on a recommendation from another limo company that didn't have any buses. I figured if a competitor was recommending them I couldn't pass it up! This other limo company told me that this was a great outfit and even recommended a limo driver to request because of his extreme professionalism and courtesy (Jim). I called and got prices - and they beat all of my quotes that I already had (and being a very price conscience bride - I did a lot of price shopping!) I was so impressed with every step of the process. John was so easy to deal with, I had no anxiety on my wedding day about having to pay gratuities as everything was included, and their service was amazing. My best friends mother was dying of cancer and we knew it wouldn't be long. I want to try to see her on my wedding day. When I called and told John about this - he told me not to worry - the limo would be there early if I wanted to go before or would take after....no charge!!! This is an overdue review. We've been using ATR Limo for years primarily for transportation to and from Logan (but also an occasional event or South Station). Extremely disappointed (was originally livid). I booked a sedan for my sister's birthday a while ago. I called 2 hours in advance to make sure that the Sedan was coming at a specific time (which they confirmed). At the appropriate time, we went outside so our mother could take a picture of us all dolled up for her birthday with the nice car service - and a CARGO VAN pulls up. "Car trouble" was the excuse. Unacceptable. It would have been better to have taken a cab! (Half the price and at least we wouldn't have been so disappointed on such a special occasion.) I booked online for a car service to take myself and my 2 daughters to the airport on Christmas day and pick us up for our return on 1/2. The driver was early, helped with our bags and was very friendly. He assured us that he would be there promptly on our return to pick us up. As it turned out, there was a major storm and our flight was delayed by 2 days and then we arrived over an hour late. It was a different driver, but he was just as courteous and made sure we were warm enough. I highly recommend this company. The cars were clean and the staff was very prompt about getting back to me whether by email, phone or text. The prices were extremely comptetive, but when taking into consideration the cost of having peace of mind and not having to fight for a taxi when returning, made all the difference in not being stressed after a wonderful and relaxing vacation. read more

Going into Logan hasn't been this easy in years. As a regular business traveler, I've been using Logan Express for my transportation needs into BOS. It's very tedious waiting for a bus that always cycles through longer than the advertised thirty minute schedule. I came across ATR right here on Yelp. The reservation process was fast and the efficiency of the service was tremendous. John was at my door fifteen minutes early, which I thought was great, as I'm very anal when it comes to promptness. The vehicles are all late model and super clean as well. On my return home, as my plane touched down, I turned on my phone and was greeted with a message from Robby, notifying me that he was out front waiting for me. Robby is quite a character. Very outgoing and friendly, I normally spend my ride home answering vmail but with Robby being so animated, he proved to be a great ending to my trip. Prices are in line with others and I really enjoy having payment arrangements taken care of prior to being picked up. Just climb in and out of your ride without the hassles of swiping CCs in the car. Email provides receipts which are perfect for expense reports. A very good experience and one which will be repeated for all my business trips into Logan. read more

My wife had surgery, and the day after leaving the hospital she needed to be transported 30 miles for a post surgery check-in with the doctor after which we needed to get back to cambridge. I used ATR Limousine for our wedding transportation, and my experience working with John Sheehan and his team was simply outstanding. I have to admit, I was quite nervous about the transportation from the get-go, as we had a lot of different moving parts. Read: 3 shuttle-buses for guests, 2 fourteen person limos, 2 eight person limos, and 3 sedans - picking up at 4 different hotels in downtown Boston. I cannot say enough kind words first about John Sheehan, the Operations Manager at ATR Limo. As our wedding date drew closer, I had a few conversations with John to hammer down the specifics of the day. He was always a phone call away, even speaking with me late in the evening the night before our rehearsal dinner to run through our entire plan and make sure everything was set. I also cannot say enough positive words about the drivers at ATR Limo. Every driver that I came into contact with was highly professional, friendly, and helpful, and most importantly to me, exactly on time. This was extremely important to me because we were on a tight time schedule, in small tricky streets for large vehicles in downtown Boston, so I was worried about delays. However, I absolutely should not have worried about this, I later realized. Finally, I was very impressed with the cars themselves. The vehicles all seemed virtually brand new, which I was not expecting. I would have to say ATR Limo went above and beyond for our wedding day. We had originally booked 32-person shuttles for our guests, but were upgraded to 40-person shuttles for no extra charge. Additionally, ATR Limo gifted us a Lexus bride & groom sedan at the end of the evening to take us to our honeymoon suite, which was very much appreciated. I've used ATR Limousine several times now and usually for rides to and from the airport. First, I want to highlight my most recent experience with ATR, which was the result of having two tire blowouts on my way back to Boston after the Christmas holiday. I found myself stranded on the Massachusetts Turnpike at night in almost 0° weather and since I was about 30 mins from home I figured I would try ATR first before taking a chance on a taxi service as this was an extended trip. So, I called and left them a message explaining the situation and the owner, who was so wonderful, returned my call within minutes. Their service is available 24/7, but as they had no jobs at that particular time (late at night), no one was on the road. However, that didn't stop the owner from insisting that he would make arrangements for me, including coming out himself if necessary. As it turns out, my favorite driver (Bobby) was available and he was en route to my location within minutes. His timing couldn't have been better as he arrived just as the tow truck was loading up my car. Also, I was also to bring everything I needed from my car, including the luggage, since the Lexus we were picked up by is very spacious and comfortable with ample trunk space. I can't thank ATR enough for taking care of us and going out of their way late at night. I said it before this most recent experience and I will say it again, I am a customer for life! My previous review of ATR is listed below in its entirety: First and foremost, they are on time (always waiting for me, not the other way around) every single time. I won't book with anyone else because I don't have to think twice about whether someone will be waiting for me when I land at the airport at 5am or 11pm. And that person waiting has always been Bobby, who is absolutely the best part of the deal as far as I'm concerned. He remembered me (and my husband) along with the previous conversation we'd had from a year ago! ATR Limousine was a major factor for our wedding in metro Boston going as well as it did. When doing the initial booking, they worked with me to find the optimal vehicle and pricing point that would provide us what we sought at the best price. Deposits and documentation were handled quickly and efficiently. Our driver, Jay, was incredible, handling the assignment of driving the groom's party from Cambridge to Norton and back then having to drive back down to Bridgewater to pick up the bride and her family and drive them to Boston with aplomb. Our limo, a 12 passenger Lincoln Navigator, was pristine, and the champagne to toast our special day immediately after the ceremony was greatly appreciated. Every single time milestone we had in mind was met, even accounting for Boston traffic that weekend. Even the bride's father remarked later that he had originally not been in favor of a city wedding, but the limo ride into the city made the day not only stress free for him but very enjoyable. I got an online quote, then after a few weeks, I called back to make a reservations for my May vacation. Which was very easy, since I had a reference number. It was done within minutes. When our (my wife and I) plane landed, naturally I turned on my phone and I noticed that I didn't have any messages. At 1st, I was a little leery. Our flight had tail wind, so we landed about 30 minutes early. The limo driver called within minutes, before we stepped out of the terminal, instructing me where the limo pickup area would be. He greeted us and as I was about to shake his hand, he went straight to my wife to offer assistance on her luggage. Which was fine. I'm from Hawaii. I'm all about the aloha spirit, so I wasn't sure if it was a Boston custom not to shake hands or if it's wasn't in his nature to do so. Either way, I was ok with it. The drive to the hotel was nice. Only took 30 minutes. I just wish the driver was a little more personable, a little more open. He didn't talk much. On our last day, I checked out 15 minutes before my limo pickup time. On my way out, I could see the car out front from the registration desk. Great timing! The 2nd driver was more cordial. This guy greeted us and shook my hand (LOL). He was very entertaining, made us laugh, and he made the private shuttle ride, worth every penny. I just wish the 1st guy was as good as the 2nd one... If it wasn't for the 2nd driver, I would of given ATR Limo only 3 stars. Also, I was expecting a newer model car. It was a Cadillac, it was nice, it was comfortable, it was clean... I was just expecting a little more... So would I recommend ATR Limousine? Yes. As long as you can afford it and if you don't know your way around town. It was our 1st trip to Boston and I wanted it to be as memorable as possible. Although, the next time I'm in town, I'll go cheap and take the "T". I'm an MBTA expert now! LOL! read more

They even gave us fresh glasses for our nightcap on the ride home! FYI-- 14 adults in the Sprinter was super cozy. Having never hired a limousine for a full evening event, and one that involved traveling a distance to a crowded venue, I was tentative at best as I researched service providers. I went with ATR on the strength of the reviews on Yelp, and it was a great choice. Not only were they totally buttoned up, they set expectations very professionally, then met or exceeded them at every turn. The driver was a total pro (can't believe I forgot his name already). Arrived 30 minutes early, car was spotless and looked brand new (10 passenger stretch), and he was very accommodating and helpful (we had an passenger on crutches with us). I rode along with the him in the front, and the noise coming from the back was deafening at times (6 teenage girls), but he just smiled and went about his business while we conversed. The operations folks were pleasant and professional. They set the appointment quickly when I first called, confirmed with a call the day before, and when I changed plans on them at the last minute, they never blinked an eye and totally delivered. While I only priced a couple of other competitors, and they were at or just below the ones I looked at, I can say that the value delivered for the price paid exceeded expectations.
