Everyone in this much-needed medical clinic is marvelously caring and sensitive. Both the waiting room and treatment rooms offer maximal comfort for the patient and accompanying friends or loved ones, and they offer free WiFi, so patients can stream calming music if they wish during treatment and anyone accompanying can work or find entertainment easily by bringing along a smartphone, tablet, or computer. Ketamine infusion treatment, when recommended and administered by a qualified doctor, can be literally life-saving for those with depression and/or PTSD. Sadly, few insurance companies cover it, and our messed-up medical system makes treatments pricy. However, if you are suffering and your treatment team supports your trying this treatment, I doubt there's a better place in the nation to get it, and results *can* be rapid and dramatic. read more

Boston MindCare literally saved my life!! Like many of you out there I had tried every medication, therapy, hospital, TMS, you name it I'd tried it. My psychiatrist referred me to Boston MindCare for Ketamine infusions for my "OCD and treatment resistant severe depression." I was at my wits end so I agreed. I went for my consultation where everything was explained thoroughly and we set up an appointment for my first infusion. Many, many months later I am writing this review to thank Boston MindCare for not only saving my life, but giving me my life back!! It's a joke there because I always say, "It's not just about the medicine", and it's not. The front staff is super friendly, informative, and truly compassionate. Thank you Nancy and Susan, and Judy we all miss you!! Even the waiting room is so cozy, calming and welcoming, especially for a person who has anxiety like I do. I've even interacted with several other patients and their friends and/or families in the waiting room who are so understanding because they "get it." We're all in the same boat there. That's extremely comforting!! I actually look forward to going there. And last but definitely not least, Dr. Yee. I wish all doctors were as kind and compassionate as Dr. Yee. I cannot offer an opinion on the efficacy of treatment or how an individual may respond. There are too many variables involved but I would encourage anyone to do their own research particularly looking at the most recent studies. What I can tell you is Dr. LeGarda, Shelby and the rest of the team are responsive and compassionate. They also believe in what they are doing. The facility is comfortable, clean, and the location is less than a minute off of route 128. Close to Lexington center so that the person driving you has something to do during the hour or two of treatment but cozy enough they can also hang out comfortably. The scientific debate will continue. Be honest with their team and they'll be bluntly honest with you about what they're doing. My experience has been extremely favorable but again research your condition, your history and potential outcomes. Then talk to her and her team, your primary care or other doctor and go into it fully informed. They require a referral which although your insurance likely won't cover it, is essential so your regular doctor knows what is going on. Scheduling has never been a problem. They are always on time and I have never had to wait more than a few minutes. They have also worked around my schedule. read more
